Hmm, don't worry about bootloader.
Let's keep it unlocked, which will help you in many cases.

hi there......
i was on stock 4.3 .205 firmware.
1. i rooted the device using towelroot followed by supersu.
2. root success checked ....
3. unlocked bootloader using flashtool.
4. now here the problem comes - for any custom rom , i extract boot.img and flash it using fastboot. after that getting into recovery i flash the rom..
but after rebooting system.. sony logo comes and then black screen stuck up. same occurs in every rom ..
any solution please?
Maybe you messed up in the install step...
Try to reflash your phone...

You cannot use Flashtool to unlock the bootloader of the Sony Xperia SP. Go to here: http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/
Since it is not unlocked please read this too: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2354721

The bootloader is not relocked when you flash stock FTF.
You will loose custom recovery and root.
Flash recovery and root again.

If you flash custom kernel then they come with recovery but you have to flash through fastboot method.
I don't have a pc or any external way to install TWRP via ADB. Is there any way to install it without using kingroot(or rooting at all)?
I want to install Lineage.
Update1:Bootloader is unlocked via dev options
Update2:My mistake on the bootloader being unlocked, thanks for pointing that out)
Update3: I guess I will just need to get a PC for a day or two. But once I have TWRP installed I can load Lineage+GAPs just through TWRP right?
No, you have to make a backup of everything on the phone and unlock bootloader in order to flash anything. You can't do this without PC.
Nope, you need Fastboot to flash TWRP to the Recovery partition unfortunately. Since you need to unlock bootloader first, you cannot use any one-click root app to root on a locked bootloader. After unlocking bootloader you can flash TWRP then. All this needs to be done on a PC with ADB/Fastboot drivers.

Yes, but you still need a PC to flash recovery using fastboot.

Through "Dev Option" means he has OEM Unlocking enabled. Does not mean his Bootloader is unlocked.

I know that, nonetheless it does help if you would like to unlock bootloader at all.
You can't unlock BL w/o enabling OEM unlock first, can you?

Not really sure about this. As I remember, I never selected the Option in Developer Options when I first Unlocked my bootloader. This was over a year ago, and I never needed to relock and unlock my BL again. So, you may be right.
So i relocked my htc one m8 bootloader now it boots right into bootloader if i try and select recovery it just reboots into bootloader same with factory reset option just boots right back to bootloader
anyone?

Well, I think that tells you what you need to do. I have soft bricked my m8 quite a bit, but have been able to atleast get to the bootloader and then get to recovery. If you need stock firmware to flash I am sure you can find it here.
