Just bought a 3T and having an issue where it connects to WiFi on setup, but once disconnected it won't reconnect again - keeps asking me to sign in and then fails. Tells me "Connected, no internet" and has the little cross in the WiFi symbol.
I'm on the latest firmware. My router has been reset and is fine, all my other devices connect no problem. I've done several factory resets and even flashed other ROMs. (RR and FreedomOS) Nothing fixes it.
Does anyone have any ideas?? Google has produced no results. Is my handset faulty?
Try on a different network....
You can also try changing the channel for your wifi on your router.
How do you change to the appropiate channel?

Anyone else having this issue? I'm on stock and no changes.
Basically it's been happening since I got the device but It keeps on getting d/c from my router. None of my other wifi devices have this issue. Also I switched to the Tmobile cellspot router just in case and the issue persists.
It happens intermittently (maybe 4x a day at home) so I haven't been able to pinpoint the issue.
For me, if I connect to the 5GHz Wifi, it disconnects when I use a steady stream of data at one time (e.g. streaming video, downloading a big file). When using in short bursts, it's fine. Using 2.4GHz has no issues at all.
I have disconnection issues with the 5ghz not the 2.4ghz. I use this program WIFI FIXER it helps maintain the 5ghz connection: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.wahtod.wififixer
Same issue here. It was the apn. Apparently ipv6 keeps disconnecting my phone. I changed it to ipv4 and it's been fine.

Hey, I have a oneplus 3. Since I uploaded to oxygen 4.1.7 my wifi has been connecting like usual. But i don't get any internet. Seems like the phone believes I have a good connection because it would switch to cellular if not. I've re started my phone, checked on multiple routers, re entered my wifi password, and used a static IP. Nothing seems to work... Would love a good suggestion

Hi, I recently bought Moto G5s Plus, but I found some problem, like my Moto G5s Plus is keep disconnecting after not using for few minutes. I've tried Reset Default Network, and nothing changed. Is any reason? and what I must to do?
Disconnect (forget) and reconnect does help or restarting your phone? If not, must be your router issues mostly if you have more than the number of devices at your place. If that the case, you could set static ip address to each devices.

I've trying that, still being disconnected. I don't know about the router, but I'm trying with making hotspot from the another phone, and from my windows pc. still same like that. discconecting again after i lock the screen.
P.S : THhe WiFi I connect always showing disabled after first Connect
Based from you statement, that must be your router/wifi problem. Try unplugging it for 20 seconds then try to plug it again.

Hi, thanks for contributing in my thread
I found that, if the phone is not using WiFi (no activities) the WiFi will be disconected, I tested with download an apps in playstore, the WiFi still connect
That's a good feature in most modern phones to save battery. Afaik, there's an option to keep your phone from disconnecting from wifi even without you using it mostly if you're asleep.

Until yesterday everything worked smoothly, but now my tab connects to my 5GHz network and gets automatically disconnect right after.
My other device (Xiaomi Redmi Note 4) still works with 5GHz so it should be device specific.
2.4GHz is fine, but I'd prefer using the other frequency.
I tried hard rebooting it and resetting wlan settings, but it changed nothing.
Were there any updates recently? Can I see a history somewhere?
I just bought this phone and I'm trying to use it in my network. I use Ubiquiti products (16-port switches and a bunch of AP access points). I connected the phone via wifi to my network and it has no problem for a while until it just doesn't have Internet connection. It stays connected with its IP address intact but for some reason it cannot seem to reach the Internet. The workaround is to simply turn off the wifi module and turn it back on. It's randomly happening and the workaround is very annoying.
I have a couple of other mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, Android phones, Windows laptops, etc.) and I never experienced the issue with these. I tried connecting the Redmi 9C to all my wifi networks:
Guest wifi with captive portal
Main wifi with RADIUS authentication
IoT wifi with regular WPA2 personal authentication
I tried resetting the wifi settings of the phone. I tried reinstalling the latest MIUI fw/sw.
and the result is the same, every time. At this point, I can safely consider that there has to be something wrong with the phone. I'm not sure if it's because of the MIUI 12 update because I updated the phone to the latest firmware as soon as I got it out of the box. Is this a known issue with this phone? I have another Xiaomi phone (Mi Mix 3) on the same network without any issues.
Any ideas?
Same thing is happening with my Redmi 9c
I am encountering the same problem with my device.
I have my region in Bangladesh (the country I live in) ,tried changing it a few times. Also upgraded my MI UI version but nothing changed.
