What is ur phone model? On MM or Nougat?
Whatever the case, u should restore the stock recovery and flash usind dload method!
Meanwhile u can flash the recent update.zip u were on before wiping ur device but some stock apps may be not installed,( I m not sure)! But if u used the recent twrp from @OldDroid, u won't loose them..! Good luck

Hello, That's long time to get suitable ROM for me. I have tried all of ROM with stock kernel. Some of ROM have apk installer like this:
{

"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Anyone know how to make or adding this installer option in my ROM?
Thanks
Well,if you want to get that button,you should install another rom or you may adjust the place where the application install in settings>application>manage application,
Moreover,I suggest that you should flash another kernel because there are fewer and fewer ROMs for stock kernel~

my magic number is 11w47, I can't do anything
thanks for information bro
OK just delete PackageInstaller.ODEX before applying this patch.
And then install it via CWM Recovery.
"SPECIAL THANKS" Goes to yousef-p for this patch.
Tell me if it works.

but,not all of 11w29+ can't unlock bootloader.
some can...
check first using the s1 tool..
if its can detect an read your id,mean you can.
but if can't..it's very risky..
try to unlock using other method..

hey i recently rooted my phone...installed xrecovery...even backed up my data...and try to install this custom Rom...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=964223 i followed the exact steps and everything..at last when i did reboot....it said will take 1-5 mins...and half an hour was over ..and i dint know wat to do so i removed my battery and tried..still the screen was stuck at Sony Ericsson ..i tried to go to xrecovery also but couldnt..tried pc companian and i still remain on the same page.(sony ericsson screen).How to recover my phone now pls telll ??
You need to read carefully.
The ROM *requires* nAa kernel to work and should be flashed in CWM recovery.
Sent from my X8 using XDA
flash this with flashtool. this is stock rom for x8 untouched so you have to root it and make other steps again!

so will my phone get fixed with flashtool?>
Why don't you try???

the rom is for nah pc companion should work ,,, or DL flashtool and the x8 ftp file if you whant change your baseband to ,, root and copy paste the xreco again happy soft brick my friend enjoy
you can still recover your back up after you install xreco
Not xRecovery. Just root with x8toolbox, unlock bootloader, install a kernel and flash the ROM in CWM recovery. xRecovery is old, it's not used anymore.

now,the question is,can i root using the mentioned method?ive downloaded the how to root guide from dr.ketan, but when i read about the hardbrick,im getting confuse..so,is it safe to continue using this method?..
thanks in advanced
Yes the rooting process is safe. Its just not safe to do a factory reset or data wipe if you are on a lpy-lpf etc kernel.
ok,so whati need to do,i downgrade my phone to direct rootable rom using pc odin,root it then install cwm..and if i want to install an ics rom,i use the cwm is it and keep my cf root..then i will have an updated rom with root and cwm...am i correct?
anyone?

no no no, thats not the way it works, no need to downgrade, but there are some other things to consider as the yellow triangle that appears after flashing a cf root.tar, i thing the safer and quicker method would be this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1647148
as it says, just dont make any backup or restore because it dont work but the root will work fine
what if i wanted to flash a custom rom?for example the kingdroid..so,i need to install cwm is it?
Flash Using Mobile ODIN
With root on, you can always use mobile ODIN to flash to any firmware of your choice. No binary count and also no triangle.

You can use MO to flash any STOCK firmware of your choice.
For custom ones you need to have a working CWM Recovery.
Well, I was trying to flash a new rom when I got stuck in a bootloop, so i flashed stock rom with odin. Then when I tried to re-root, I get this error...

1. Backup all your sdcard data
2. Format it in fat32 format (your sdcard is corrupted)
3. Download the files here ROOT+CWM 5.0.2.6. Fixed
4. Flash the files using stock recovery
