I was on aw 1.5 then I flashed aw 2.0 ota..my watch became slow so I decided to make a factory reset
After that my watch is stuck on "Checking updates..."message for more than 1 hour
I tried going back to aw 1.5 but I ended up with a bootlooo
Please help!
I would try re-flashing aw2.0 and make sure you have the wear app open when the watch starts going through setup on you phone. Also I would do a reset on the watch and forget the watch on the phone.
I reflashed 2.0 and did a reset but it's the same problem
I also have Android Wear app on my device..
Reset through the recovery
just sideload all firmwares, you won't need to rely on any update server that way.
i had no issues getting to 2.0 as well as setting up, or resetting.
I had no luck getting aw 2.0 to work so I decided to get back to 1.5
I flashed AW 1.5 system.img and boot.img and I ended up with a bootloop!!
I reflashed them again but also a bootloop!
What could I do! Please tell me
nvm I fixed it
I just had to reinstall Android Wear app on my phone

Has anyone had this happen to them? Axura beta 4 was running quirky so i flashed my phone with odin 3 and then did a factory format *2767*3855#
to clear everything that odin did not. Everything nice and new all bloated and what not, thought I would give the samsung update a try "so i could use kies again" then the phone prompted to restart and did so but without the starting back up thing. I tried everything from puling the battery, download mode, recovery mode and cussing furiously at it and it did nothing. What went wrong? Is samsung gonna be able to see if i rooted the phone and all even after I did all the formatting? Before I did the update I checked to see what all was on the phone and it was like out of the box.........
Sickmutt
Happened to me when JH7 just came out. Phone was a paperweight. No power would go to the phone at all.
I exchanged it at the AT&T store...
As for them checking the root - doubt it and you reverted to stock regardless.
dang att sent me to samsung to get my phone fixed instead of helping me. that sucks that my phone gets bricked by a factory update
thanks for the fast response
my phone start acting up. i charged it to a 100% then it would keep on restarting till it reach 60% or 30% and then it would quickly drain the battery away... can any body help me solved this problem, i really love my phone.. I'm in India by the way :crying:
Are you rooted? OS version?
Can you provide more details from when this started to happen?
Thank me if I helped you!
I'm not rooted, and my os is 5.1.1 happened last month.. i tried doing a factory reset still didn't do me any good
Last update for Moto X is 5.1 not 5.1.1
You maybe can try factory reset because you are stock
I've tried to reset it, it doesn't work apparently, it got stuck at the Motorola logo and same thing happen if I use the recovery mode sometimes I can't even go to recovery any expert suggestions?

Yes went back from QI2 to DOK2 5.1 lollipop without any errors.
I tried odin 3.7 gave me error first then tried odin 3.12 worked fine.
Still getting mmc read fail error sometimes and when i try to restart or turn on my phone goes straight to download mode
Samsung made Marshmallow update to ruined our note 4 completely.

Hello.
I have a Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910T2. In january of this year i upgraded it to 6.0.1 (N910TUVU2EQI2) from 4.4.4(N910T2UVU2AOG1) using the SM-N910T firmware for the upgrade, everything was working perfectly but the day before yesterday i wanted to perform a wipe cache because the phone was being a bit laggy. after the wipe cache was perform and i hit the reboot, the recovery got stucked on Verifying DMhash tree. so after 30 minutes i took the battery out and powered on my phone, the problem is: The phone started to freeze, reset it self even the process system crashed. I read that downloading the Wake Lock power management helps and it did but i didn't want to use this app forever so i downgraded back to 4.4.4 it's original firmware, it does run better but now my phone reboots itself and it freezes just a little bit. Also i've got the Process system is not responding do you want to close it?
Things i've done so far:
1- Reflashed 4.4.4, 3 times, i've done wipes before reflashing and after. Nothing
2-Flashed TWRP wiped everything, repaired the file system, Flashed the stock again (4.4.4) nothing.
I'm not going back to 6.0.1.
Do i have to buy a new phone or maybe a new rom with a kernel will help ?

All i can say is your phone mmc chip is about to die soon or later you will get mmc_read failure message and your phone wont be able to boot into the system and you won'tbe able to flash anything.
My best suggestion is sell it ASAP.

I came across the mmc_read failure before I realized it was happening and have been researching ways to at least verify there was nothing important on the device before retiring it to Samsung heaven.
Instead of useful advice, everyone seems to be spouting "sell it ASAP" as though it doesn't make you trash as a person to attempt selling it as any sort of working device. The inclusion of "ASAP" and lack of "with a disclaimer" tends to suggest they aren't recommending you actually tell anyone about the issue.
Good advice would be to back up everything you can now and begin looking for a new device. You could attempt to sell it for parts, but make sure to inform people of the situation. If it is that close to failure, chances are it will still be well within the 30 day return policy on most sites and they always favor the buyer. Your device is already ruined, but there is no reason to destroy your reputation with it.
Hello. I REALY NEED HELP!! A couple of months ago when oreo got leaked for note 8 I installed it. I installed substratum themes before I did the update when I was still in 7.1.1 . When I installed the leaked oreo I had a problem that it wouldn't let me go past the lock screen unless I quick launched the camera and it said "system ui has stopped" and the phone kept vibrating. I couldn't turn off the phone.. only if I got lucky and then it would take me to a screen that said upload mode. no hard reset combo worked and only download mode combo worked. from there I would put cancel and it restarted the phone. somehow I got the phone to power off and immediately tried the hard reset combo and it worked. I factory reset it and everything went to normal. After that I never had the same issue again. But couple days ago I tried to install substratum to see if it would now work. WELL THAT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. it was doing the same thing so I managed to factory reset it again. after that I didn't install substratum and everything would work fine until I woke up. when I woke up it kept doing the same thing so I wipped the cache and factory reset it again. Everything worked fine again and then the next morning IT DID THE SAME THING. I've factory reset it like 5 times now and don't have substratum installed at all and that doesn't work. it still says that "system ui has stoped" when I wake up in the mornings. I've been researching A LOT and I've tried to do everything the forums say but nothing works. HOW CAN I GET RID OF THIS SOFTWARE PROBLEM COPMLETLY?. (keep in mind i'm still on the beta software , I never got the official update). I even took it to a Samsung care center for a day and they told me that they couldn't fix it and I called Samsung and they said to ship it in to them so they could fix it. Have you guys been through this?

I am by no means on the level of the wonderful gentlemen that so often come to our rescue, but have you tried flashing the device's original firmware?

What varient are you?
I have the exact same issue, how is this not talked about anywhere? The leaked beta was so wide spread, I'm assuming you've tried taking it to ubreakifixit? I think that's what it's called.

I think flashing the original firmware is your best option considering you are still on the beta.
Just post the variant you have and the country you're in and I can give you instructions on how to get the right firmware
I would advise that you take your device to a Samsung Service Center and let them take a look at it. As they will be able to help you resolve your issue
