Looks like you have the answer... But you are not ready to do it yet...
I don't have a solution for you, but if it was me I would backup as much as I can and factory reset or flash a factory image and move on.
Good luck...
SOLVED
solved using tasker > plugin > secure settings > camera enable
like you see in attach

Hi everybody! I own an SG N7000 running the stock GB2.3.6. (not rooted) and I am new in this area of Android phones.
Kindly ask you to help please with answers to a few questions I have:
1. How can I change the location where the screen captures are saved from the phone memory to to the SD card?
2. How is it possible to deactivate in the Startup some of the installed applications so that they are completely blocked and are not consuming resources and battery? If possible, would that last over a phone restart?
3. I have performed (several times) a Factory Data reset including format usb storage from Settings > Privacy and I though the phone will be returned to the "new" estate. To my surprise I was able to see the names of the previous installed application by going to Android Assistant > Tools > Batch Installer. Why was the Factory Data reset not wiping out everything in phone's memory, what did I do wrong? What do I need to perform to wipe out all my private data (supposing I will sell my phone sometimes in the future)?
Many thansks for your answers!
My problem is my Data gets Auto shut in background & i dont get WhatsApp messages
how do i keep it on all the time
Please
You are not able to change the screen capture save location. As yours is official ROM,u cannot stop any of the startup apps.
Use wipe function to fully delete the phone or some ppl called it the hard reset function.
Yours Sincerely

Would rooting on GB 2.3.6. solve both questions or is it necessary to upgrade to stock ICS or even to flash a custom ROM?
If a custom ROM is required, which one would you recommend from the stability, battery and speed points of view, including abilility to wipe data without any trouble?

Did I get it right that running <wipe function> from the booting menu is different than performing Factory Data reset from Settings > Privacy?
Hi all,
Have trawled the forums & net but, rather surprisingly, can't seem to find anything on this.
Just would like to know if there is a difference between the two different hard/factory resets (through the settings backup menu and using hardware buttons on startup).
I noticed on my old HTC1X that the former method sometimes resulted in some settings not being reset but not sure if that was a glitch or faulty restore.
Thanks,

Do you mean factory reset in the bootloader vs factory reset in Settings ?
if yes then Yes they both do the same thing, they delete your /data folder and leave the sdcard alone

Yes via the bootloader and in settings.
Thanks for the confirmation, have always been curious if the bootloader option was more of a 'thorough' wipe so to speak.

systems > reset > reset all settings then reboot the phone , do not turn on artistic bokeh mode again
or you can upgrade fw to disable root . I found out that i dont really need root anymore

You should be able to just flash back stock RAMDISK.
Hello, I have the same issue, front cam just says loading when picture is taken. I am rooted as well. Were you able to resolve this?
I am on Mate 10 Pro
me too
yup me too, but with rear camera. Think .jpeg files are corrupted. Bought phone new from Vodafone 2 weeks ago. Not rooted. Did x2 full hard resets and it recurred. Vodafone did a "like for like" replacement on assumption it was due to faulty internal memory. (Its seems like the sort of thing that would happen if there was an SD care and the SD card was kaput). Hope prob doesnt come back. If does then suggests it wasnt a handset / hardware problem for me but rather a more general software issue ...
Hi, first of all, sorry for my bad english.
I hope you understand
I've installed LineageOS 14.1 and all work's great
Then I've installed a new nightly and the camera led flash didn't work anymore.
Not as flashlight and also not as camera flash.
So I did a "factory reset" and installed the first LineageOS build.
The LED still doesn't work.
I wan't to test the Hardware if the LED is broken.
I used following code to open service menu but nothing happens. *#*#197328640#*#*
The entered code dissapear and that's it.
How can I test the Hardware? some tipps to reactivate the LED?
Thanks a lot
Noone?
I need some help, please.
How can I test the Flashlight to find out whats wrong. Is it a soft- or a hardware issue?

Factory reset is not enough. Recommended is clean install, wipe at least system, cache and dalvik, then flash previous ROM. If it still doesn't work, flash KDZ.

First of all, thank you.
With "factory reset" I mean I made the following:
Code:
1. Boot into TWRP
2. choose wipe
3. choose advanced wipe
4. select: Dalvik/ART Cache
System
Data
Internal Storage
Cache
5. swipe to wipe
6. flash previous ROM
So it doesn't work. How can I flash KDZ?
The same way like LIneageOS?

Hey there. Your flashlight is not broken. Trying adding the widget to your lock screen. Or if you want to test type this in your dialer 3845#*405# and a hidden menu will appear from where you can test the features of your device. But if you reboot your phone they reset. I hope this helps you.

Hi there.
You're right.
I've flashed the new LineagoOS nightly and the Flaslight turns on for about 1 or 2 seconds and then turn out.
This happens every time i've tested it.
The code 3845#*405# doesn't work.
I see a message saying "USSD code running". That quickly disappears and then nothings happens.
It seems that I can't add the flashlight widget to lock screen.
any suggestions how I get the flashlight work?

Hey there the code won't work in custom roms. It is only for stock roms.It opens hidden menu. Custom ROMs take the advantage of your phone while it mat offer you a faster phone. Please revert back to stock ROM. Ik stock ROMs are slow. But it is much better to stay with stock ROMs with root and custom recovery and xposed.Check flash light once you flash stock recovery.
Hope this helps ?

What means xposed? Some kind of app?
I've flashed D40520a_00.kdz ago but Flashlight also didn't work.
It "works" since I've flashed ne nightly...
If I flashed the stock rom all Preferences would be reset, right?
So why did flashlight not worked if I installed D40520a_00.kdz?

Hey take a backup of your internal storage. Then in Lg flash tool do a csc flash.Flash correct kdz file.
Try some Google play apps for turning on flashlight
OK. I try it once again.
I usethis guide to flash KDZ. Is it OK?
What is a CSC flash?
Is it an other choose for "3GQCT"?
Hi there.
I think you mean CSE Flash?
I flashed my phone descripted in this Guide.
Type: CDMA
Phonemode: Diag
KDZ: D40520a_00.kdz
Upgrade with CSMG Client: CSE Flash
After the first setup wizzard I get a software update. Now the software version is: v20b-EUR-XX
Android-version: 5.0.2
Kernel-Version: 3.4.0+
Where in the hidden menu 3845#*405# can I found a entry to test the flashlight?
( No apps for turning on flashlight works )

I've tested every menupoint and I found nothing.
With the stockrom I have no Torchlight symbol in quick settings (when you move from the top to the bottom where you can activate wlan, bluetooth etc.)
I add a torchlight widget to the homescreen. It turns on for about 2 seconds then turns off if I activate it.
The SOS-function works. Lollipop or KitKat stock. always the same result.
Is it possible to flash the complete smartphone.
It seems like there's a progamming block or some kind of settings that's wrong and that won't reseted with stockrom flash.
Download flashlight from playstore and test
it is always the same with every app.
The LED works for about 1 second than turns off.
Flickering works at all.
Try contacting lg service centre for a possible fix.Try flashing a bootstack or a custom kernel.I know they are not related to flash light but still trying is not bad at all.

a factory reset is requiered
I had the same problem and solved it:
Go to settings and then apps - all apps - upper right corner ' show system' - find 'Google services framework' and clear cache. After rebooting updates are shown.
Factory reset is not necessary!

I'll try this as the last step , idk if sideloading the OTA would be a good idea
if you have time post the result and good luck
UPDATE : Fixed the error message by removing and reinstalling Google Play Services , but the PIE OTA is still not available , hope I can update soon.
