Hi all,
I encountered this problem since the very first day I got my device.
At first, I thought is the bug of official ROM, the ROM running is MIUI 7 global stable.
After few times update, the problem still the same.
My device is running MIUI 8 global stable at this moment, and I still have this problem.
I tried to post my question on MIUI official forum but still I cant get a solution.
I tried reset and reflash the ROM, but still cannot solve my problem.
Is there any solution from guys from XDA ? Besides flash my device to custom ROM.
Hi guys, i have weird problem, everytime i flashed miui rom (official or modified version), i cannot unlock the screen after booting, it's always black, locked. offcourse, even formatted internal partition and trying flashing using mi flashtool (fastboot rom) give me same result,.
I have exactly the same issue. I tried to install many different MIUI ROMs (China Stable, Global Stable, Global Dev, Xiaomi.eu), but I wasn't able to fix it. I've also recently had my phone serviced and as a result, the screen has been replaced, but even that hasn't solved the problem. I'd like to note that (in my case) the issue started to occur after installing LineageOS 15.1 - I haven't noticed this problem before.
Try flashing the lazy flasher.zip after installing the miui rom.
Hello guys!
One of my friends have Mi 8 China version. He flashed a global ROM and after that loose the wifi and Bluetooth. It is not a bad connection problem, there is no wifi and Bluetooth at all, no Mac address
The device is unlocked so we flash a fastboot China ROM, 10.0.7.0 but the problem is still here.
Do you guys have any ideas what the problem could be and how we can fix it?
Any ideas is more than welcome.
Thanks

He needs to flash the China Mi8 device drivers. ( aka : Firmware)
For example this should work : Mi 8 Dipper -20.6.11 ( Extracted from China beta weekly beta 2020-06-11)
He can dirty flash this in recovery
Edit: It's possible that he may need to flash the Persist partition extracted from the fastboot rom
Well, Recently, I have installed a Custom ROM (waveOS) and now I'm needing come back to MIUI and lock the bootloader.
I Tried Flashing the Stock ROM ( Global Lancelot) and When I Use Mi Flash Tool, It appear this message
"Current device antirollback version is greater than this package"
Before I install the custom, I was in MIUI 12.5 Android 11 Global Stable.
I tried erasing system and vendor, and the message in Mi Flash Tool keep appears.
What should I do? Anyone can Help me?

Format Data after rom flash ...
1. It wasnt an action of flash ing another rom,its the same rom,eu rom stable, just downgrade,so you just need to wipe cache and delvick, because if you format data you actually earrase all your phone

Eu rom is not that good, buggy like hell, and full of issues (just look over XDA mi 11 ultra issues and you'll see that all issues are EU rom related). one on a thread lost his screen, others notifications, others over heating, others incompatible applications. etc.
in order to install global rom, you'll have to keep your device unlocked at all times, and using MI flash tool and fastboot rom of a global rom, you can simply and easily flash it to your device (DO NOT LOCK BOOTLOADER, CHECK SETTINGS OF MI FLASH TOOL). pretty straight forward and there are threads in here explaining it, have a quick search.
Maybe you'll lose some of the camera functions (not commonly used, at least for me). but other than that, it is way more stable, way better, performance better, better memory management (which eu rom lacks, I don't care what others say, I care what I saw with my own eyes with latest stable eu version, and not for a day, for 2 and half weeks),
if you need assistance, let us know in here and you'll have a few (including me) will be happy to help you.
