Just came across a modded Google camera apk...
https://chromloop.com/2017/02/downl...nexus-2015-phones-base-google-camera-4-3-016/
Edit: for some reason it's stopped working...
It works sometimes, sometimes not...
But the video seems more smooth but not as smooth as actual 60fps
how this is helpful for us?
It's not software it's the hardware that's limited in the oneplus 3.
Tested and it works.

Hi all! Can someone test video stabilization 1080p on oxygen OS 3.2.6?
if possible I would like see a comparison with a Samsung s7 / s6 which has a great stabilization. It would also be nice to see a video comparison between the 3.2.4 and 3.2.6.
Unfortunately I do not have the ability to make a comparison right now. But I would see if indeed there was an improvement!
Thank you all

i would like to see that too
I updated to 3.2.6, and my ois and eis doesn't work neither on picture or video. I'm gonna try reflash it , and wipe everything
Well, It's the same thing, as in the 3.2.4: no ois or eis or 60fps full hd, only 4k with ois.
It's fixed in the community build, but not stable. I'm sure it will come soon enough.

Wow I just tested 3.2.6 and for me it's worse than the 3.2.5 my phone came with, which has OIS in 1080p I'll just restore my backup and go back zzz
I also have focus problems with 3.2.6 whene make a Video.

3.2.5 does not have working OIS.
There is no difference to 2.3.6 in terms of stabilization.

Well when i got the phone the first day i did record a video and there was no shakyness, I'm almost pretty sure there is in 3.2.5, i will restore my backup later and try, not saying you're wrong, it's just that i recorded a new one in 3.2.6 and it's too shaky and the difference between both videos is big in terms of stabilization
Does anyone experience bad 1080p video recording. It's not sharp enough.
If I record in 4K everything is really sharp.
The P10's 1080p video is not so sharp as my earlier iPhone SE.
Why is that?

Hi, you are not alone unfortunately. I have realised that some time ago on Five Finger Deatch Punch concert - it was on android 7. Now I'm on 8.0 but haven't tested it since as i set 4k as default
Edit: I have tested it yesterday and it's still visible on android 8 (tom ver. 360) when you disable pro settings, but everything is fine when the pro settings are on. I have also tested it on my friend P10 pro (rom. 185) and he doesnt have this ptoblem at all and everything is working fine. Looks like our P10 have got an autofocus problem
Hi Guys,
Just thought I share with you footage of some software stabilization of some 4k footage from my P20 Pro.
We all know that the stabilization on 4K mode is non existent (not even EIS) but adobe premiere can work wonders
Remember to set quality to 4K within YouTube
Let me know what you think
That works pretty well. Some odd effects from the software though, made it look like things were made of jelly when the camera moved.

Yes - Slightly
Might try to dial it down a small amount and then seeing the result
Hello,
I'm using Google Photo to stabilize my 4k video, and it works pretty well!
Could you do a test to compare the results?
Open your original video with Google Photos, then go to setting, "Stabilize" and save.
Thanks.

Will do a comparison over the weekend to see the difference.
If you use opencamera or ultracorder (hevc) at 3k resolution (3264x1840) then EIS works nicely, looks really smooth. Admitedly it's not 4k, but its still much better than 1080p. I'm currently using ultracorder at 36.7mbit maintier level6.2 with EIS enabled and it really does look nice.
Can you share your Ultracorder settings mate? It's crashing on mine. Cheers!

I'd also be very thankful if you could share all your options, the app crushes on my P20 Pro when using the options mentioned above
any link for Ultracorder? I can't find it on playstore

quite expensive, specially if it has problems of force close. I'll try opencamera

I think the best option right now
Sohail, have you compared google photos stabilisation with Premier?
After experimenting for a while with ultracorder I can get 3k to work fine as soon as I try EIS it crashes and I have to restart phone. Very interested to know what settings the guy who recommended the app is using?
Hi,
Anybody had HDR working on their phone? I have a hdr moniker in both Amazon prime and Netflix, but neither actually play back in HDR. Also there is no difference between HDR on/off in pubg mobile. I'm starting to wonder if this phone is capable.
Yup. I see it working in Netflix. Also the phone came pre loaded with an hdr 10 sample video which does work.

When I try to record a video (with the stock app) ONLY in 1080p 60fps the video is pixelated, especially when I zoom in.
The phone is brand new.
I dont know if this is a bug and it will be fixed by a future update OR the stock camera app has this bug....
Does anyone else have this problem?
Everyone have this problem. 1080p60fps is not good at all on mi a2, looks like xiaomi tried to put 60fps in the same bitrate as 30fps, so we have not so good quality. When you enable camers2api in every other app than stock, 1080p looks like max zoomed in picture..
Maybe with pie update we can expect some improvement...

Yes, I hope with Pie will be fixed. Its not a major problem though... I use 4K 30fps for my recordings....
OpenCamera is the best option for 4k video recording. But loses this resolution if you enable camera2api
