I'm a sony xperia user (z5 E6653). From about a month i'm trying to root my device. After trying several times to do it I'm still getting bootloop every single time. Now I have installed TWRP recovery, and it works perfectly, but when I try to install SuperSU I get boot loop and I don't know why. I don't know if it's important but i got twrp via flash tool, not on terminal (I'm a macbook user). Someone can help me? Thanks

Hi, I have tried being clever and rooting my HTC ONE Mini, which all went perfectly well. Unlocked Bootloader and installed TWRP.
I found a radio update on a website and tried installing it, with S-ON. As you can imagine I am not stuck in Bootloop.
I somehow managed to wipe all the data off my phone and sdcard too.
So I am stuck with a phone in bootloop with recovery from TWRP.
Everytime i try and fastboot flash any file even an Android ROM.zip it doesnt like it. I am novice at this so you are probably reading this and think what is he doing.
Can someone help me or guide me to getting my phone back and running again. Please??

You can't use fastboot to flash a rom.zip! It must be pushed to your phone (use either adb push or adb sideload from recovery) and installed from custom recovery.
Btw this is the wrong forum for your device. Htc one mini forum is here
Hi all,
Any help please? After nearly 2 years of having my HTC One M7 and not rooted a phone since either. Decided today would be the day and yep I cocked it up.
All was going well, unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP, installed SuperSu.
Rebooted then problems started, SU was not installed correctly, said binaries needed updating and would need to be done manually. Updated superuser with latest 2.46 update file through TWRP. Phone is now stuck on HTC One boot logo. I did a nand backup before SU update and that just boots back to TWRP.
Any help please?

Sorted guys. Thanks for all your help. Keep up the good work.
ok so i wanted to root my htc to install a custom rom. the process seemed to go fine i unlocked my bootloader and istalled the twrp recovery no problems there. the final step i was shown was to install supersu all through twrp, i did this it all seemed fine. once the phone booted back up all was fine and working no problem except that supersu was not finding the right binary file. i downloaded the newest version of supersu and againg using twrp i flashed it to the phone. since doing that the phone has stopped working completely it loads the htc booting screen and then nothing after that, i can still access bootloader and twrp but the phone is not recognized on pc anymore. i can gain access to it using command prompt and can also transfer files this way so im assuming that i have only soft bricked it.
i have read countless posts on here but i cant find any that have the exact same problem im having. ive tried all sorts like trying to put a custom rom on the phone using the adb sideload it goes over no problem the phone gets the file transfer but doesnt install.
i dont think the phone rooted properly from the start hence why i cant put a custom rom on it.
i think it obviously has something to do with the second supersu zip file i flashed onto the phone like i said all was ok before then except for supersu not working properly.
anyone have an ideas as to what actually has happened and if theres a fix?
thanks guys appreciate all yous do on this site.

What is your twrp recovery version, what rom and version are you trying to flash and what version of supersu are you using?
Hi, I just switched to android(nexus 6p) few weeks ago. I was interested in trying custom rom, and got xperia tx from my friend for some experiments. Im planning to run RR rom . So, first of all, I unlocked the bootloader.
After that, I tried to install twrp. I got an error regarding "remoteartition not found". I used adb and fastboot commands to flash. After some googling, got to know that xperia devices doesnt have separate recovery partition ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224896). So I tried using fastboot flash boot twrp.img instead of fastboot flash recovery twrp.img. Things went well and I could access TWRP.
Im not sure if I did this in a proper way (installed in the correct partition) or just created some issues. I even tried copying the RR zip file and installing from TWRP. All went good and I could use the device. Again im not sure if i just overwrite RR over the TWRP or everything is alright. I couldnt access the TWRP anymore.I hope someone could explain about how the partitions work and they way i could tackle this situation. BTW, i could access TWRP using traditional volume down + power lock button if i installed everything properly right?
Thank you very much in advance.
Hello.
I'm looking for a proper tutorial for my MI9TPro coz I didn't find one that works for my phone.
Each time I try to root my MI9T pro it finish stuck on fasboot mode.
I open the boootloder (2mn with MIunlock) then I can send twrp (twrp-3.4.0-10-raphael-mauronofrioI ) as well and magisk 20.4 too. But even I format data each time I install the rom it is impossible to return to recovery and the phone is stuck on fasbooot, nothing works so I have to use miflash and return to start. Root works with a rom but when I want to go to the recovery it is stuck on fasboot. I tried many files, vbmeta, etc, but nothing works.
If someone can help me solve this problem I could finally use my phone. Thank you for your help
