Android auto quits after starting music

Hi there,
strange thing... When I say "ok Google" followed by the instruction to play some music with Play Music, Rocket Player or even Player Pro, it starts the music but sends Android Auto to the background. I have to click the icon again to restart Android Auto. Ist this a bug or a feature?
Running Auto on OnePlus 5t, Oreo. No display mirroring, using it straight on my phone.

All i can give you is possible reasons why it kicks out or gets stuck, there's more reasons but they are all
more random then these I've posted below...

if issue is with AA app...
hell if i know i don't use that thing, since googles latest updates (earlier this year)
killed the compatibility of using it to serve emu for HU....
for that area you'll have to await someone elses answers. sry

if issue is on HU....
Make sure your clock is set to correct time/date, and also make sure you've a correctly updated version of
google play store, and other services by goo. this is leading to numerous crashes(freezing units) this you would need to uninstall the application(s) and re-install/update, or reformat...
there was as well a strange bug, with SystemUI, that lead it to crash (search google play for that fix) ...
ofc could be just simply over-heating since manufacturers of h/w seemed to over look heat sinking or device fans
for internal cooling... these devices were not very well made for there prices... ive got a Hizpo px3/5 both needed h/w modifications.

Firefox laggy media playback ?

Both video and audio stutter when playing media video. Tried on Youtube and Pornhub.
However this didn't happen before yesterday when i tried to play flash content http://www.ddsahyadri.in/liveTv.php. This happeed after this incident or maybe i never noticed this lag as i hardly use HP to stream video.
I tried to fix this, Disabled all addons( ublock origin, privacy badger,Https everywhere, Dark bg &Light text) and tried playback again, nothing changed. Video was still laggy.
I've reinstalled Firefox with no addons installed , still stuttering is present.
Anyone else have this issue ?

Yes, yes i did.
So you don't have a choppy video playback on Firefox ?

No. But I don't use add-ons on mobile Firefox so I wouldn't know. Someone said that when under 20% phone becomes slower, maybe that's the deal? Also, did you restart your phone soon?

I have choppy playback everywhere on my Honor Play COR-TL10, ON YouTube, chrome and Instagram as well. It sucks
Hope EMUI 9 fixes it soon. Or we get a custom rom with good graces of developers

The battery was at around 80 percent.
At first i uninstalled FF then rebooted my device after which did a fresh install of FF with no extra addons.
The problem still persisted.
Seeing that nothing worked i thought the theme was maybe causing the issue so i removed the EMUI dark theme did a restart. Installed of FF performed a hard boot. And so after 3-4 reboots the videoplayback on Firefox is not choppy now : )

I can't, I bought it from AliExpress and I live in Canada. No service center here.

Dual apps like miui for Ragnarok?

Does any player here of ragnarok mobile able to dual app this game and make it run at the same not the one that the animation freezes? On miui it works flawlessly

but the second screen freezes. Two games splitted with screen... Only one game at a time can be active on split screen.

It was the MIUI Overlay that does that, Native Android doesn't support.
If you really want to use it then just flash MIUI Roms.

Samsung music player needed

I've been using samsung devices from when the android era started to when I bought Asus Rog 2,
And I think that samsung music is the most simple and featured music player of all the available ones.
So I checked all the ported samsung music apps available out there but none seems to be working with the device.
Can anyone help please?

I was in the same state a few months back. Samsung's music player app cannot be ported to other devices, unless it's part of the Galaxy lineup.
I searched for an alternative and ended up using Poweramp.
It has a really good looking and customizable UI and looks awesome with 120hz display.

Samsung music works here. I used it for a while but uninstalled due to ads. Try Poweramp as others suggest or use VLC.

PowerAMP is great, and there are other apps honestly i would consider are leagues better than most stock apps.
Noteable ones i can think of are.
- PowerAMP (as you already know)
- BlackPlayer EX (tones of customization and audio control)
- Retro Music Player (very modern, well designed and has audio control)
I tried PowerAMP for a while and found it drained battery faster than the other apps but if you don't have any battery problems its an amazing app. personally i have stuck to BlackPlayerEX because i love the customistion options and the UI is clean and because i usually always carry alot of songs (1000+) on me its got the fastest interface as some other apps struggle.

Tbh simplicity of the samsung music app is something that I am still missing.
It's gonna take a while to get used to these 3rd party music players.

if you really want you can just download the samsung music app from the playstore or try sideload the apk
I don't have my ROG Phone 2 yet so i can't test it but i imagine there's no plausible reason it wouldn't work.

Official samsung music ain't available for the other devices but samsung ones @ playstore.
And about the apk....
Not install-eable.

Redmi Note 9 Lagging Issue

I have a redmi Note 9,My phone everything is fine but only the problem is when I play games like clash of clans,pubg mobile or anything else it's lags too much.. But using other apps like Facebook you tube, Chrome, it's work fine... But in games..
I can't even play the games.. But if I play those games by using screen recorder it's runs fine as usual..
Don't know where the problem is. It's a new phone I buy it yesterday..
Is anyone know any solution? Or is there anyone facing this issue.?
Or is this problem is on only in my phone..?

Currently facing the same issue in games like CODM and PUBGM it's kinda frustrating though still hoping to get optimized soon by devs due to the new processor the RN9 had. I believe only the RN9 has g85 currently. If more phone manufacturers equip this processesor expect to experience better gaming with this phone so that it reaches it's promised performance boost on it's predecessor g80.

I've only played 5 or 6 games of pubg on my RN9 but haven't seen any lag
May not be significant but I haven't been using the Game Turbo feature (I used this first time I played and my battery level sunk like a stone, so switched it off)
Try doing the same and see if you still notice lag

who facing too much lag on games in redmi note 9..
.
just use "hide and move status bar"
in notch setting..your problem will be solved...
.
. if not then use screenrecorder while you playing games..
And wait for the next update..
i think those bug will be solved in next update...

hi dear friends hope you doing well i just found the solution for this serious lags in this morning when i was tweaking some things in the phone and i realized thats a bug in the miui and it does not matter which version you are using just do this instructions im writing :
1 - activate developer mode
2 - go to developer mode options
3 - turn on DISABLE HW OVERLAYS
4 - go play that game and then you will see all lags are fixed
please show this thread to everyone so they can enjoy their games big love to you

Otherwise , try turn off developer options and see.

Man ur a life saver. Pubg still lagging a bit but it's okay.
But can this option affect the gpu lifespan at the long term?

My pubgm lags so much, if I'm playing it I can't help but to close the game cuz it is really lag, the lag just came after I updated my MIUI from 11 to 12. Can someone help me fix my problem please?
I already tried the notch something but still lags, and the developer thingy too.

Do the following below
Settings-----Additional settings------Accessibility------make display size larger from smaller.
You can enjoy each and every games and applications without lags. And also you can feel this is not a phone issue.
This lagging problem is not a phone issue. The new mediatek helio g85 processor isn't fully optimized yet as it is a newly launched processor.
