i'm new to this, just recently rooted my tablet and currently have kitkat 4.4.2
for some reason its not OTA enabled and not sure how to get that back

I wouldn't look for one until devs can get a solid AOSP ROM, like CM running on this phone.
I received an update on my HTC desire 626s that said "This update is to prepare you phone for the Android 6.0.1 marshmallow update. So it is now on the way. Yeeeeah buddy!!!
I have LG D958 with Android 4.4.2 want to update Android Lollipop or Marshmallow need stock rom.
I have already stock 4.4.2
Bad news, no Lollipop or Marshmellow for gflex. Kitkat is the latest and probably will stay that way.
Is there a reason for this ? is it just no one is working on it or is there an actual problem
