Hello Guys,
I need to use one of the other oneplus 3t microphones, as my main one is broken.
So what I'm asking here is, if anyone has any idea which files I have to edit and which values I have to change in order my main mic isn't used in the call, but the other one.
Cheers

Hi folks, I had a search but didn't find anything conclusive.
Had my Nexus One for a few months now and although it isn't my main phone I am having some issues with the microphone when I do use it.
It seems to sometimes not work and others it does. However, if I put it on loudspeaker it works all the time. From what I have gathered, there are 2 microphones that get used on the one so I could be having an issue with one not working?
Also when it does work, it is very quiet or soft.
Does anyone know if I need a new microphone or if there is a fix I can do without buying a new part. If a new part is needed, does anyone know somewhere on the web where I can buy one?
Thanks,
Fraser
My mic volume is REALLY low, like i need to speak very close to the mic so the other person to hear. I downloaded the HD2 mic app, but it said that i am missing /Proc/mic and that i need to find a kernel that supports that. anybody know where i can find one?
Hello,
I have a HTC One M7, where the microphone does not seem to work, so at least the main microphone at the bottom of the phone.
You can currently only calls when you turn on the speakers and the microphone is used on the back.
Is there any possibility to select which microphone is to be used by default, so that quasi not the main micro but return micro is used when making calls?
Best regards and thank you in advance.

Hi guys!
I dropped my HTC One into water and now one of microphones doesn't work. But when I call to someone using for example skype everything is OK. I think that apps use second microphone. Do you know how to disable main microphone and use the second one in stock calling app?
Hello, my wife dropped the Moto x and the primary Mic stopped working, secondary works well as when i record video, it uses the secondary mic.
I read in the forums for other phones (M8, 1+1) that there is a file called Mixer_Paths where you can route the phone into using the secondary mic for calls. In the Moto, that file does not exist but i have this file
snd_soc_msm_2x From here i tried to cppy the values that i saw in "Camcorder" as they work, and paste then in all the mic registries but did not worked, i also tried sending the phone to repair shop and they could not find the piece.
I can't buy a new phone as this is already my backup phone, (i got robbed last thyursday, and they took all my money and phone).
So PLEASE is there anybody here that knows how to modify the snd_soc_msm_2x file in order to enable secondary mic for calls??
Regards
do you still need help about this? The easiest way to go is to change
persist.audio.fluence.mode=endfire
to
persist.audio.fluence.mode=broadside
in /system/build.props, but you will loose the noise cancellation feature.
