Hi guys, do you know if it is possible to install latest Nougat Miui releases with F2FS as file system?
I've read that it may installs but than format automatically again in ext4.

It still does not support F2FS? Neither the China Developer?
No, if you want f2fs switch to lineage os or stay with miui in ext4

I hope one day f2fs can support on miui
Hi
Is there any way for stock MIUI 9 or Xiaomi.eu ROM (or other MIUI based ROM) to support f2fs for (at least) data partition.
MIUI itself doesn't support F2FS. Even if you enable F2FS support, there will be lots of bugs. Sorry for broken English btw

I tried EU myself but ended in bootloop. But that's long ago. If you can backup, give it a shot.
Is there any ROM with F2FS support for Redmi 4X?
Latest RR rom supports. Tested personally You won't feel it but It is somewhat faster than EXT4

Ohh Much sorry for not mentioning the Build. Its RR OFFICIAL and also use Rr-inbuild Kernel. ROM & KERNEL both need F2FS support.

I have seen that some kernels support f2fs on this device when comparing with Android common f2fs branch. My question is though if OneUI itself supports f2fs or not? And if not is there a patcher to allow it to support f2fs such as by modifying the fstab? Thank you

Not sure, im not rooted for the first time. But i know back from S7e Days and Note 8 too, that F2FS Support was there, but was not Overall functional at all. I guess Ironman Rom was the only one wich works with F2FS but i wont talk bullsh*** here. But also in kombination with a kernel wich Support F2FS
Anxway i Think F2FS ist a nice thing, but if you get it to work or not..dont know. Good Luck anyway !
