Hi all, as many other people, i don't like the softkeys on Nougat (S8-like). There are some problems:
- They are visible only in certain Samsung Apps, but for other apps like keyboard or SMusic they're almost invisible.
- Softkeys in SystemUI are in .spr format and not in .png
- After editing values/colors.xml and changing navbar icons color to white, nothing changed
So, how can i modify them? I would prefer to change them to Pixel ones, but changing them to always white with stock icons would be enough.
Thanks in advance!

I am trying to theme my status drawer. I am having a heck of a time finding the files to change the color and images of the toggles in the drawer (WIFI,Bluetooth,GPS,Mute,Rotate).
I have been looking in:
framework-res.apk -> res-> drawable-hdpi
I attached a image of what i am trying to change.
I would love some direction on this. Thanks.

Samsung Vibrant w/ Macnut Rom (eugene) FROYO2.2
Answer: twframework-res.apk
Changed:
-Greenish/blue on/off switches to truer blue with a fade out on either end
-Drawer background to pure black with 80% transparency (i think ill go 90 later)
-Drawer handle partially transparent
-Screen rotate Icon replaced
..I removed them completely, as I nerver understood, what they were for.
Just wondering if there's a simple way to edit a MIUI theme? I have Formel's MIUI Mod (now known as KelLMSKing, but I'm still running Formel's last one), and I downloaded the Dark Blue theme from the new one. I like certain aspects of the theme, but other aspects of the original one so I've mixed and matched the two themes for what I like .. almost. The last change I'd like to make: How can I edit the font colour in the pulldown notification bar?
Fixed.. sort of
I fixed this.. sort of.
I downloaded a dark theme that would have the black pulldown notification bar, then when I installed it I de-selected everything (fonts, icons, lockscreen, etc) and selected only the "Theme" which makes the text in the notification easy to read and actual usable checkboxes.
Posting this in case it helps anyone else.
Hi all,
Looking for a little guidance / suggestions here...
I deleted HTCLockScreen.apk so it would be replaced with AOSPLockScreen. I also use the App Settings module for Xposed mod to change DPI on certain apps.
My issue is (see in screenshot) that when I change DPI of SystemUI.apk there is a little space between my status bar and where the lockscreen starts. I'm scratching my head as to how I can fix this and also how to change the AOSPLockScreen DPI.
I have just installed 2.67 and have found the mod for smaller softkeys as I had on previous rom. But both the softkeys and the navbar are grey and I want them black. Looked into XML with notepad++ but wasn't readable. I would also like a DoCoMo statusbar with 2 rows of buttons, in black. Which of these things are available? Have spend quite some time looking for them but no success.
Hey guys,
I got myself a p30 pro and experience an odd issue.
Theme used is "dancing ribbon"
The fontcolor of the icons headers used to be dark.
However, then I switched the grid settings from 5x5 to 5x6. It rearranged the icons and now their fontcolor is white.
I tried
- changing back to 5x5 grid
- changing into another theme and back
- rebooting
Nothing seems to work. Since it is really hard to read icon names on light backgrounds do you have any suggestions? Am I missing some setting somewhere?
Best,
Emanuel
Hey guys,
no idea whatsoever?
thanks for any feedback
