HELP ME! :crying: - SuperSU

So, I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S5 G900h. I was trying to install a ROM, wich needed the PhilZ Touch Recovery, wich, as you probably know, in order to install it you must go into recovery mode. Thats when things started to go down. I wasnt able to boot into recovery mode, when i pressed VOLUME UP + HOME BUTTON + POWER, i got the samsung screen, and it didnt went off ever, unless i take the battery out. I tried everything (it wasnt the reactivation lock, i had it deactivaded), i was desesperate to get to the fricking recovery mode, so I found this app called QUICK REBOOT, wich allowed me to boot the phone in recovery mode by just selecting an option. So I did. Now my phone doesnt boot anymore, it shows the Samsung logo and it stays there forever. I have no idea what to do now, please help me :crying: im such a noob in these things

Use Odin to flash stock firmware back, then reflash the first custom recovery. Then boot to recovery and flash Philz. Then reboot recovery and flash the ROM.
Official firmwares can be found at www.sammobile.com/firmwares/

Thanks dude, I'll try that. I can download any firmware that is the same as my model right? Any firmware of the G900H

Yep, but it is best to use the one with the closest location to yours...that also speaks the same language.

[Q] Bricked Galaxy Mini

Hi, I live in Egypt for a while and I bought last month a Mini. Everything was going just fine, I was using Odin many times to try new roms, and CWM Recovery to give a try to custom roms, without problems. Yesterday morning I flashed my device with the 2.3.6 rom that I found on this forum, apparently made for Latin America. Since that moment, my mobile is on boot loop, i can't do anything, I only can access downloading mode, I tried to reflash gingerbread 2.3.4, and2.3.5, it goes well, Odin gives me the PASS message, but still my mobile is forever rebooting at Samsung logo. I can't access recovery.
What to do? Is it bricked and do I have to send it to Samsung Center or is there hope to fix it by myself?
Thank you for any help...

u cant even enter recovery?if u can, just wipe cache and data..

Just remove the battery and stop your phone.
Put the battery in again.
Go to recovery mode by pressing Home + Power button at the same time.
In the reocevey choose wipe data/factory reset option.
Reboot your device after you are done.
You mobile will boot up fine.
Thank you for your answers but I wanna insists on a point: I can't access recovery at all, the phone show me the samsung logo for about half a second then restarts, and is looping in this state. No recovery, only downloading mode and RAMDUMP Mode (ARM9 mode) & Emergency Dload Mode (ARM9 Mode). Nothing else is avalaible.
Helppp

hey man i've already had that problem..coz i flash 2.3.6 and encountered same problem but i manage to fix it.. you need to enter recovery mode... Note: you need to hold the home & power button and wait for the samsung logo to flash TWICE (2X),when the 2nd logo flash, just realease the buttons and your on recovery mode.just wipe/ data reset.. right now im using Ginger bread 2.3.6JKVT and its rooted also.
No, I can't access recovery sorry.
Connect your phone to your laptop.
Use ADB
Type this :
adb shell reboot recovery
That will take you to download mode, then you can flash rom again. It would be easier if you have a CWM installed

If you can't access recovery either falsh CWM recovery or Flash another firmware from Download mode. If you want to flash CWM recovery just follow the link below for Galaxy Mini and search CWM recovery.
I tried many times, since i have this problem, to flash and reflash, official roms, CWR, but nothing works, setup goes fine according to Odin, but still have the problem on my phone, still only downloading mode works, and still a flashing screen, just during the samsung logo.
No one can help me with my mobile???

just try this www*mediafire*com/?br3r8fod5g3vud4 flash this firmware with Odin this will surely work please replace * with . brace my post count is not enough to post outside link
As long as you can enter download mode... you are safe. If you can... just flash it back with Odin.

i had a same problem too.
my phone cannot power on, and ONLY download mode only working.
i flashed it for so many time too, and it doesn't seem to fix the problem.
so any fix on this ?
To ybregeon and Tre3,
I had the exact same issue, only Download Mode and RAM Dump, but could not enter recovery mode. Tried flashing many ROMs, oneclick unbrick, Heimdall recovery etc. but still no solutions available, I tried many-many tricks with no luck. So I went to Samsung Service Center, and it turned out that the problem is in the mainboard. It took me one night before Samsung replaced the mainboard from my phone and it's been working well since. All free of charge.
I hope your warranty is still valid. Good luck.

Galaxy S + 9001 stuck in bootloop - can't flash with Odin

Hi.
I have a Galaxy S+ I9001. I had cranyum rom installed on it. One day it just restarted and after it got stuck in bootloop.
It onlyshows SAMSUNG logo, and then restarts and so on...
I can't get into recovery using 3 button combo, but I can get into download mode.
The problem is that it appears to write ok with Odin Multi downloader 4.43, but when it gets to the reboot part, the phone just power off and gets to the same bootloop. If I disconnect the usb cable, it shows a vertical battery icon, then black screen, again battery icon, and so on... Tryed with a different battery witch was charged to 100% before flashing because I tought that it was running low on battery, but the result was the same.
Tryed many different firmware and same behavior.
Is it possible to be a hardware problem?
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
try to flash clockworkmod then flash anther rom >>>> it worked for me in same issue like you have !

It does't matter what I try to fash to the phone via Odin. It says thet the flash was successful, and goes to the same bootloop.
Tryed flashing different roms, feamod recovery, clockworkmod, bootloader. Nothing changes.
So flash full rom wit pit and then root it again then do what ever u like

The problem is that it's a Galaxy S Plus - I9001. I can't flash it with PIT file. That's only for Galaxy S - I9000.
Does the pit file works for Galaxy S+ also? All that I found with pit file was for Galaxy S.
I can flash mine with AriesOPS, but that doesn't do the trick. Same bootloop after flashing.

First remove battery and press power for a min, remove sim card and ext SD card and than reinsert battery and go into download mode Download the CWM 6.0 recovery, link on My Android Collections below and try to get recovery First, than go into recovery , In recovery WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system) enter advanced and wipe dalvik cache too than flash the ROM
I allready tried to do that. It flashes ok with odin multi downloader 4.43, but when it goes to restart, the phone gets back in the loop, and I can't get it to recovery via vol up+power (with or without usb connected). It just gets to the same boot loop in witch displays just the SAMSUNG logo for about one second, the restarts, and so on.

The problem it's that in the link that you provided, I must have access to recovery witch I do not have.
Or to use ADB, witch is possible if the phone goes after the Samsung logo at startup, but mine restarts exactly after the logo without going further.

Have you tried holding the button combo a little longer? Don't get this the wrong way, from my experience I know that getting to recovery on i9001 can be a little pain in the a$$ and I really don't know why. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

[Q] I think I've bricked my phone, please help!

I have had my i9305t rooted with CWM since day one, and it has always worked fine. Today I saw there was an AOKP build 5 available for the i9305, and stupidly I tried to flash it, forgetting I needed a specific local version. It didn't even try to install, because CWM recognised it was for the wrong version phone, so I restored the backup file I'd made with CWM. It said there was an MD5 mismatch, but it booted back up fine and I could set up the phone again, however it had reset to base. So I rebooted, got into recovery again, did a factory reset, wiped cache and dalvik, tried to restore again... no difference.
Not sure exactly when it happened, but I tried to boot into recovery again and it hung on the 'Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-I9305T' splash screen. So I turned it off and it booted up into Android again as per normal. In an attempt to fix recovery (at this stage I was considering just reflashing the stock rom), I downloaded CWM off the play store and used the 'Flash CWM recovery' option. It said it succeeded, so I tried booting into recovery again but it hung on the splash screen once again. So I turned it off, tried to boot normally into Android again, but it hung on the splash screen again!
Now it doesn't matter what I do, trying to boot into recovery or Android it gets stuck on that damned splash screen! I tried pulling out the battery and leaving it out for a good ten minutes, plugging it back in and booting it up, but again it gets stuck. If I leave it on the splash screen, there it will stay. It doesn't pulse, it doesn't move, it doesn't reset, it just hangs there indefinitely.
Please help! Is there anything I can do to recover it, or have I just got myself an expensive paperweight?

Bootloop. Flashing won't fix it. Recovery not working.

A friend asked me to repair her phone, it seems that some guy tried to carrier-unlock it and some other guy tried to flash a Firmware for other model. When the phone got back to her it was broken. So she gave a bricked phone to me and asked me to repair it.
Well the thing seems to be soft-bricked, it's stuck in a bootloop, it displays the samsung logo twice, turns off and then on again until batery's removed.
It won't go into recovery (HOME+POWER), but it works in DOWNLOAD mode.
I tried flashing the stock firmware for the phone (S-5830), I even tried with the version for my country and original carrier. It won't work, ODIN gets to flash all the files, then reboots the phone and It's in bootloop again! Tried some other firmwares, none works or goes into recovery.
Also tried flashing ClockWork Recovery via ODIN, no luck. It won't go into recovery for doing the wipes.
So right now I'm scratching my head. I'm noob with samsungs, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or it's just that this phone is broken.
If this guy messed with the EFS file, that may be the reason it's in bootloop? Is there any solution?
EDIT: THE MODEL IS s5830 SORRY FOR THE MISTAKE! I USED THE RIGHT FIRMWARE!
PD: SORRY FOR MY POOR ENGLISH, I'M SPANISH. THE PHONE SSN IS S5830GSMH original carrier: ORANGE

BTW I FOLLOWED EVERY SINGLE GUIDE I FOUND FOR UNBRICKING AND FLASHING, AND I CAN'T GET THE THING TO WORK.
Use Odin v4.42, install the drivers properly and flash the stock. After seeing the pass option in Odin, disconnect your phone from pc which will be stuck in a boot loop. Now, take off battery, put it back in, reboot into recovery ( power + home button, release power button when something appears on screen. ) & select factory reset option ( volume key to move up and down, home button to confirm and power button to go back to previous menu ). Now select reboot system now. Done !!

NOPE. Tried with that Odin version, it finish flashing, PASS, reboots and the screen is flashing (doesn't show battery loading) until I unplug.
I remove the battery, put it back again, HOME+POWER but still in bootloop, it won't get into Recovery!!
It just flashes Samsung logo twice, reboot, flashes again, reboot... Stuck there, no recovery!! I already flashed this device dozens of times with different firmwares, Stock, Carrier locked, custom, etc... NONE ALLOWS ME TO GO INTO RECOVERY FOR THE WIPES
Go to the service centre, they'll fix the problem for you.

[Q] Issue on GT-N7000

Hi Team XDA,
I am facing issues with my GT-N7000
1. I was running on Slim saber 4.4.4 with TWRP
2. I flashed CWM 6.0.4.5 in TWRP and after restart my phone went in to Bootloop.
3. Then I restarted my phone on Download mode and flashed Stock Rom 4.1.2 from Sam Mobile on my GT-N7000 using Odin
4. It Stuck on Samsung logo again
5. I was trying to boot recovery mode but it was not booting (to wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik Cache)
6. I am able to start phone in Download Mode only and not Recovery mode. (using Hardware Keys)
Can anyone help me out coming out of this. I still believe if i can wipe my data/Dalvik/System Cache using ODIN my phone will start.

kinda strange issue,
usually if you've already flashed the original Samsung firmware, it will come together with "built-in" recovery which "possible" to be access in any circumstances,
hmmm, try to do odin again, with different frimware version from different country (I also didn't use my own country firmware) :silly:
by default, try to disable "auto-reboot" option on the odin,
once you've complete flashed the firmware, try to remove the battery for moment, and boot into recovery,
should be working
give it a try, I used to do it in my S Plus, :silly:

hmm, strange, however I did do some research for this kind of issues,
and most of my finding stated it might to do with hardware issues (case where unable to boot normally, only download mode),
however, I do believe you can try with older version of firmware (probably last year?)
and try disable "auto-reboot" on the odin,
upon odin stated "reset" quickly pull out the battery (providing the screen is completely closed/off)
and try to reboot into recovery mode by it combinational keys, "volume up + home + power" (hold it a bit longer till samsung logo disappear) :silly:
I've even try to soft-bricked my S Plus, and try this one, seems I can boot both normally and recovery (to do wipe)
