MOD camera for cm10.1 with autofocus
Hy guys i found a way to use the autofocus on 4.2.1 versions
This is not my work i only deleted unnecessary files and rezipped the file
HOW TO:
-froze or delete the galery2 app from system/app (to avoid duplicates)
-put the file attached to your sd card
-flash via CWM
-done
TO KNOW
-there are still problems with panorama shots but it didnt work either with the other one
-the other panorama mode as far as i know its only for nexus phones
-the apps has wrong permissions when u flash it go to system/app and set it to rw-r--r--

I installed this on CM10 PACman, and it works , bad thing is; now I got 2 camera apps and 2 gallery apps, also now BOTH cameras have autofocus... weird uh, or maybe the PACman rom has a camera app with autofocus?, I will reflash this rom and check first, then delete this camera and gallery then flash your mod. lets see what happens, I will also flash in the latest CM10.1 unofficial (new bootloader) and post my results (dual boot FTW!).

I did it on purpose to compare both cameras but I was naive because there was no way to tell them apart... and after re flashing the rom I saw the camera in the rom has autofocus, but they're far from the same, gallery app us the same, but the camera has different menus, a lot less options... unfortunately, I don't know if use yours or port the one in PACman rom to the CM10.1 unofficial for the new bootloader... the CM10.1 camera also has autofocus... but the menus and UI suck ass.
Good thing is it works for both CM10 and CM10.1

Maybe mivv uses default cm camera, rezip it, and set it up as default. Sorry if offensive.

when i was recording a video it was capturing nicely, then when i viewed it it was broken.

I would like to have the fm radio motorola, next default roms stock because it lets me play without connecting the headphones please could you make the flashable zip that app for any custon rom

Camera does not work properly when I change LCD density

Moto Camera solution to save photos on SD
Hi Guys! Finally, I found solution for Moto Camera. I'm able to save photos directly to SD card! It works without problems. I have used Xposed module called XInternalSD. This can be use for other apps aswell (f.i. Titanium Backup)
NOOB FRIENDLY
Instructions:
1. Download Xposed Framework from HERE and flash it in recovery
2. Download Xposed Installer and install it
3. Download attached app and place it to your device
4. Install it and active it as module in Xposed Installer
5. Reboot device
6. Open XInternalSD and tickle Moto camera
Done! Now open Moto camera app and change directory to SD Card!

Guys, I also udpated flashable zip, so now there is MOTO G4 CAMERA! Enjoy!

After doing all steps, photos can't be seen from camera app when swiping to left.

It's caused by Moto gallery, cause default page of it is internal memory. Just try another gallery, like Album by Sony ( my favourite) and then, when you swipe left, there will be all photos which are stored on SD.
PS: Can you save photos on SD? It's working for you?

All working OK, FC on gallery on startup, can save pics/vids on SD.

What is RAW image ?
A camera raw image file contains minimally processed data from the image sensor of either a digital camera, image scanner, or motion picture film scanner. Raw files are named so because they are not yet processed and therefore are not ready to be printed or edited with a bitmap graphics editor.
Step for installing the lib file.
1: Download the ZIP and APK .
2: Extract and Replace .so file to System/Lib/HW.
Steps for installing mod
HowTo:
0-you need root
1-install the lib file in page 1 of this thread by akash sky (that lib adds extra functions to camera: control of brightness, saturation, sharpness and contrast levels; and also advanced spot metering; and now also RAW shooting in freedcam).
2-download and extract the zip attached to this post.
2a-install the freeDCam app (motg3-debug-v2.apk)
2b-copy the file opc3.bin to /sdcard/DCIM/FreeDcam/config
3-in freeDCam:
3a-select file type dng(by clicking on jpeg on left bottom of screen)
3b-in settings->CustomMatrix, select IMX214 (if you have tint problems, try with 'off')​

RAW is better than jpeg extra features mean all stock camera features other than RAW

Replaced that file gave it RW-R-R (pls mention it in d title) but how to change the format to RAW? When I click 'JGEPG' in the left floating setting i don't get any option for RAW.. CAn u pls give an ss or tell where the raw option is??
Edit: Im on Turbo (AOSP) ROM!

Raw is unsupported at the moment but further tests will be done.
Currently the moded libs allow for freedcam to access Qualcomm parameters instead of the basic android stuff the stock lib returns
Such as the ability to turn off noise reduction , exposure metering mode sharpness ,saturation ,brightness.
Reason for no raw Motorola butchered the picture format string so it only displays JPEG in a later build will attempt to hardcode the values instead of reading it from the camera and see if raw image can be retuned .
If you have moto device not Osprey or Merlin ie xplay you will need to post hal lib to get patched located at /system/lib/hw/camera.msm****.so if on cm then camera.vendor.****.so

1) Build.prop method:
Go to build.prop and add the following line without quotes
"persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1".
OR
2) Magisk module :
Either flash through twrp or add through magisk manager. File is in Attachments.

Is it working in stock rom(rooted)???

Does it process hdr+ for back camera as i tried with your provided apk and more than 10 ports got only one port working that too for front camera .
Other ports just capure normal picture no processing at all.

Everything is working fine except slowmo. App is crashing every time I click on slowmo option and I need to restart the phone....and by the way, iam using Moto z cam for slowmo!!!! ?

I have the same issue. It shows that HDR+ / Enhanced is enabled but it doesn't seem to do anything.
I've tried at least 5 different camera mods and tried every setting, never once I noticed it actually used HDR +

I think it happens because of the camera API2. Remove the 2 line from the build.prop
