Hi ,
I unlocked bootloader and installed Twrp on my Huawei Mate S (CRR-L09) and it went well but when I came to root it and reboot it , it stuck on the huawei logo (bootloop) , is there anyway to reset the phone or do something about it because it's unusable now .
This is my first thread , and thank you .
You have to reflash stock boot.img....Always before flash supersu you have to backup boot and restore it after root

I'm not sure that TWRP 3.0 is compatible with EMUI 3.0. You should try installing TWRP 2.8.7.0 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/asc...ecovery-twrp-2-8-7-0-touch-recovery-t3160130. You know how to flash using fastboot, don't you?
my phone stuck at boot screen , i am not downgrade from 7.0 , it's still running on 6.0 .
i already did dload factory (tree buttons), back to recovery stock .... and etc . ...but didn't work .
anyone help me ?
already solved - flash twrp , full wipe ( include system ) . then install custom rom - mine installed - (NewWorld-7-by-Tecalote) , it will pass the logo stuck .
Hi,
I have a p8 lite (ALE-L21) (I did not write down which build number I was on but I was still on EMUI 3.x.x)
I installed twrp 3.0.2
I then installed a rom (slimrom for p8)
I reboot
It go to huawei booting screen and stay there forever. If press power button for 5 second it reboot on the same screen
I can still go in recovery and fastboot but I don't know what should I install to get back control of my phone. Any idea?
Should I try to get a stock rom ? If so which one?
Thanks
I finally managed to flash a stock rom.
Ok, so I had installed Magisk, it was fine, but i tried to flash the update (not related i dont think, just my magisk was outdated) After TWRP flashed successfully, my phone was soft-bricked. it restarted 3 times and then (as i have Huawei p8 lite 2017) eRecovery said something was wrong with the latest boot. I installed and updated eRecovery, and it (obviously) deleted TWRP, along with the root. This was attempt No. 1. I then flashed TWRP again, successfully, and went to reinstall the same downloaded magisk, and the flashing was successful, and i rebooted only for a soft-brick to occur again. I am currently installing the eRecovery to remove TWRP again, however this is annoying . as it was working PERFECTLY then i tried to reflash then everything failed. Please help me as i dont know what to do now. I cant show specs its running EMUI 8.0, ANDROID OREO, Its a Huawei p8 lite 2017 (Same specs as Honour 9 lite and like 3 other phones, unsure of the model)
***MY BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED IF IT WASNT CLEAR!***
Edit : Version : PRA-LX1 8.0.0.362(C442)
Obviously i cant ask Huawei support as i have voided my warrantee.
I await your instructions
