ThinkPad Tablet Stock ROMs Dumps

Hi everyone!
Because TPT owners have no chance officially download stock ROMs images, it would be great, when we would share dumps of the clean stock ROMs (they are different for different regions - US, UK, WE, JP, ROW...).
The reason, why I started this thread, is an OTA 2 (OTA 2.5 maybe?) update. I deleted some useless apps and now I can't make an update. If someone would upload a dump of A310_02_0037_0074_ROW... Even a backup of system apps folder would help...

- no-bloat rooted 0075/OTA1 and 0089/OTA2.5 US nandroid backup
- rooted 0089/OTA 2.5 ROW stock image nandroid backup

As I already said in several threads, no need to use dump or anything else to update, just modify the update script to be able to install it !

I know and I should mention it...
But I wanna update in a clean way. There are also other reasons for sharing the dumps - eg. because of warranty, accidentaly deletions etc.

I could really do with a full UK 16Gig dump as I updated to a UK testing version from Lenovo themselves but now cannot update to the latest non testing! I'm stuck and if I could put on an original dump then I could update till I go to the latest

For me the problem comes in with not understanding how to change it and not having experience with Android, ADB, etc. Hard to feel confident.

I would also appreciate this although I cannot help as I patched one of the system APKs already (without having made a backup).

Rooted CWM 0089 ROW Stock Dump
I buggered my TPT /system partition and couldn't find another ROW stock image anywhere and was only saved by a co-worker getting a new TPT a day ago.
Was hoping to post the link here but XDA won't let me without a minimum of 10 posts to prove my worthiness.
Figure out this link to get the file.

if the above link doesn't work as its throttled, try this:

After restoring this using CWM, remove CWM using one of the methods on XDA and then remove root and you have a out-of-the-box tablet.

I lost root when I installed ICS (perhaps I forgot to temporarily unroot before the upgrade), so I want to go back to Android 3. Can I flash one of these nandroid backups in the stock recovery? I can't, can I?

nope, its not signed and thus not working.

Anyone got the latest US or any ics rom dump?

I'm looking for a nandroid backup of stock OTA3, mine is corrupted and I've installed the CM10 ROM. I'd appreciate it if any one has one they'd be willing to upload.

This is a US OTA3/ICS nandroid dump from a 32gb TPT
If root is not retained, just use the latest ICS Root exploit for the TPT. Should work fine in 16, 32 and 64gb US versions.

[Q]Questions for XT1064 variant

Been flashing my devices forever but they have all been samsungs and my phones for the past 4 years so im looking for help
I got a XT1064 for my wife who is still using a Nokia Pureview 808
Its a great little device and I wanted to root and install a customer recovery for it for backup reasons
Ive been over all the forums many times but its never clear 100% that the stuff works for the XT1064
I can root and unlock the bootloader with no issues my main questions are
Is it confirmed that TWRP 2.8.0.1 will work for this variant? If not what recovery would you recommend (links if possible would be great)
I know there are not really many ROM currently but did see some that are pretty much stock but optimized(more ram etc) are any confirmed to work ok on the XT1064?
This is my wifes phone so I cant have her without a working device too long and I am less willing to test since its not my device
Any help would be appreciated

TWRP 2.8.0.1 does run on the XT1064, however it seems to be buggy. In my experience that recovery will randomly cause the phone to reboot for no reason. I personally prefer CWM, but TWRP 2.7xx has been reported as working well
P.S, don't ever flash your XT1064 back to stock with the mfastboot commands, I did it with the appropriate image for the US GSM model, and now my wifi is dead, and I cant find a workaround

Blur_Version.21.11.17.titan_retuaws.retuaws.en.US was the one I flashed, so it should have worked, but unfortunately... :crying:
A user in another thread suggested that I flash the latest OTA update, but the problem is, the latest OTA update uploaded here isn't for the 1064, so the stock recovery refused to flash it, and with no wifi or mobile data, I can't download the OTA from the phone

Have you tried Blur_Version.21.11.16.titan_retca.retca.en.CA?
Canadian version should have same bands as us version also noticed
retuglb.en.US and retuaws.en.U both show version 21.11.17 which is odd

Well I flashed the Canadian image, my wifi didnt work and it killed my radio lol
Flashed back to US and now the radio works but still no wifi :silly:

Thats odd. Maybe it has to do with the boot image. Has anyone been able to restore to stock with no issues?

Note 4 SM-N910T that keeps getting stuck in a boot loop

So i purchased a Note 4 SM-N910T about a year ago. It worked fine but last month shortly after the 5.1.1 update I did it started randomly restarting for no reason. First i taught it was Snapchat because I red somewhere that there are camera problems, so I stopped using it. But it kept restarting even after that. From then I have made a factory and a master reset, rooted the phone and even installed CM 12. No mater what i do it keeps on restarting. The only way to get it out of the boot loop is to connect it to a charger that is not a fast charger. Then it starts charging and works normally and you can do everything normally. After you remove it from the charger it works as long as you do not use it. When you start using it and want to do something with it it starts restarting again. I hope somebody can help me fix this issue. I have noticed that connecting it to WIFI makes it 100% sure that it will restart any moment. If you leave it without WIFI as long as you do not do anything big it will not restart. For example I watched series on my phone I downloaded beforehand. I was able to go to the CM 12 file manager and change series for the duration of my bus drive and it has not reset yet and it has not been connected to a charger for around 12 hours already.
My last resort is to wait 3 hours for the stupid free 5.0.1 official firmware and flash it using the TWRP Recovery or Odin. If that does not work I would have t give it to a service. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Also a link to where I can download the 5.0.1 official firmware for free in normal speed will be of greatly appreciated as well!

That's odd, I recommend odin flashing the stock ROM and everything. (Modem + bootloader) the latest one is DOK2 for T-Mobile

To revive the thread I tried flashing the N910TUVU2DOK2_N910TTMB2DOK2_N910TUVU2DOK2_HOME.tar via Odin. It all went fine and after starting the phone it went on to the step where its optimizing apps. It got stuck there and it went back to the boot loop. I had reflash the CM 12 and TWRP Recovery and now I am back at 0. So my question is how should I flash the stock rom. Go to TWRP do a factory reset than turn the phone off and flash the stock rom via Odin? Should I also flash TWRP ans SuperSu after flashing the stock rom?

I've been having the same problem for about a week and a half; it's super annoying. I was running Dynamic Pop on COG2 then yesterday I updated to DOK2 and flashed Maximum Overdrive... no improvement. It rarely even fully boots before freezing or rebooting.
My best guess as to what the problem is that it may be overheating because it tends to actually boot if I put it in the freezer while booting, but then it freezes soon after taking it out. I suppose it could also be internal memory corruption.
Either way, I'm getting ready to do a warranty exchange.

First focus on getting a clean stock firmware booted. Do what you mentioned above but don't flash TWRP or superSu until the stock ROM is stable. We need to narrow down the issues so do as few modifications as possible.

You may have messed up the partitions. There is a thread about the pit file you should check out.

What thread is that and how do I find it? I mean I always checked that in Odin i never had Re-partition on.

I actually downloaded 2 stock roms for my Note 4. One was the COG2 and the other one was the completely stock firmware. I tried flashing them but Odin failed (Auth) whatever that means. The only stock rom I was able to flash was 5.1.1 but it wouldn't boot up so I had to install CM 12 again! I have no idea how to fix the phone. All I want is to return to 5.0.1 and delete any changes. The phone has no apps on it so i have nothing to loose but I do not know how to do it..

You cannot use 5.0.1 ROMs on DOK2 they will never boot and no down grading. You have to use 5.1.1 ROMs for now on.

This is exactly what is happening to my T-Mobile Note 4 (SM-N910T) and the thing that you did to your Canadian Note 4 is exactly what I want to do. But can I use the firmware you provided at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/ref-stock-firmware-kernel-modem-recovery-t2920452
or must I use the T-Mobile ones and if I have to use the N910T firmware where can I get it so I can do what you did? A link or a thread would be amazing cause I really miss using my phone as normal!

Doesnt work. Wont flash the stock rom. It says Fail(Auth)

Stuck in recovery mode

Hey guys I just got an 84 MB update from T-MOBILE, but for some reason when my phone was updating there was an error, and my phone now only boots into recovery mode(the "No Command" screen). Does anyone know where I can find any of the update files so I could try to update through ADB? If not, then my only is to unlock the bootloader and install a Custom ROM, but I wanted to know if I could still use my mobile service (T-MOBILE) if after installing a Custom ROM? Any advice is appreciated!

What phone model?
If it's an L90, you should and you're still able to either download mode, you can flash stock kdz ROM, root, unload bootloader, flash custom recovery then any custom ROM you want.

just wipe all partitions and put a stock lollipop rom but a flashable zip file is needed and put it on a sd card and flash it and there you go you have a working phone in just a minutes

I also do not care about the data on it, I merely want it working. After all, I've already factory reset it in hopes of fixing it, no luck

Solution to sim not detected after flashing custom rom

first of all big thumps up for IacobIonut-DW for pointing me in the right direction on th AOSPextended thread
1. To have sim card working on BLU VIVO XL follow this thread to restore imei https://forum.xda-developers.com/vivo-xl/development/permanent-blu-vivo-xl-imei-fix-mm-t3604293
2. Unzip the custom rom and replace firmware folder in system/etc/ with the stock firmware folder which i have uploaded below. Zip back and flash with twrp 2.8..(please note, a simple single factory reset is required.. dont wipe any cache again after flashing).. thats all sim should work

this method has been tested on aospexpended,lineage,viperOs and cosmic Os........... Works perfectly in all cases...

Nevermind I have it working now!!!... With your feedback I was able to come up with a different path to get the firmware directory in place without corrupting the ROM.

Hi, I guess it should be done with a system of identical versions, right? that is to say, if I make a backup of the folder in android 5.1 it would not help me recover the IMEI of a ROM v6 or v7. right? I thank you in advance. :good:

2. Unzip the custom rom and replace firmware folder in system/etc/ with the stock firmware folder which i have uploaded below. Zip back and flash with twrp 2.8..(please note, a simple single factory reset is required.. dont wipe any cache again after flashing).. thats all sim should work

After replacing the files i try to install and it give me "Fail" whitout any detail what can i do?

I'm having the same problem on my Blu vivo xl
I wiped my phone using the recovery hard reset method so my cache and nvram folder got wiped off, so I'm finally stock with an mp3 phone instead of a mobile phone cos its now writing invalid imei, so I later discovered that the baseband isn't showing anymore, I've tried so many method even had to download a other stock ROM and flashed the phone, still its writing invalid imei, pls guys I need your help and it's urgent pls:crying:
