Ps3 Controller - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

Hi everyone, to connect the ps3 controller via bluetooth to my phone I used the Sixaxis Controller app. Until here everything is fine, but after one or two minutes of use the controller disconnects. To be recognized again by games like Asphalt (gamepad supported) I have to reboot my device. If i try to restart Sixaxis Controller app I got this error: "could not overwrite file sixaxis_driver-pie".
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
I also read that someone has built a modified kernel adding the ps3 controller drivers. (link)

Ps4 controller not connecting

I've got sixaxis installed and doing everything the way I'm supposed to do but my nexus 6 can't even see the ps4 controller when in pairing mode. Anybody successfully done this yet?

Gamepad support. Having trouble getting them working!

Has anyone successfully used a Wiimote & classic controller or an Xbox 360 co troller (wired via otg) or a Bluetooth controller?
I'm not having much luck!
I thought cyanogenmod had wiimote support baked in but it asks for a pin and won't connect.
360 pad via USB otg isn't detected.
Even my mad catz c.t.r.l.r doesn't seem to work . In minecraft it only let's you move forward and backwards. Nothing else works. It works in some emulators though.
I've tried a PS3 controller with the Sixaxis Controller app. It connects fine with the app. (using bluetooth)

Game Controllers - USB OTG & Bluetooth - (CM12.1)

Has anyone managed to get any game controllers working in CM on the fire?
Games seem to run well on this device and it would be cool as my main gaming device.
I've tried a Wiimote, I can get it to pair and it shows as connected as a Bluetooth input device (the LEDs continue to flash, which I think is normal behaviour) but nothing works and games like GTA don't recognise it. (Wiimote Controller app doesn't support CM as its suggested it was built in back on JB + lots of outdated information out there).
I don't have a PS3 or Xbox controller to test unfortunately.
I also pulled out an old PS2 to USB converter and a couple of non official PS2 controllers, tried. This seems to partially work. It's recognised in GTA and the analogous sticks work but none of the buttons work. In the launcher some of the buttons do seem to perform actions such as emulating the home button so I think this is a mapping ussue. Any pointers on remapping buttons would be appreciated.
I would be interested to know if anyone else has tested any other controllers USB / or BT?
Thanks.
Iirc wiimotes require kernel support & we currently can not run modified kernels. Nintendo did some crap that prevents them from working with the standard unmodified BT.
So has anyone tried a PS3/4 or Xbox controller?
PS3 controller works great with the Sixaxis app.

Do you have to be running cyan to use a ps3 controller?
Not sure, I am on CM.
My guess is it should work. There is a free compatibility test app from Sixaxis in the play store, give it a try.

Is it possible to connect a Dualshock 3 (PS3) controller on?

Hello everyone, so I was attempting to connect my Dualshock 3 (PS3) controller on my device but it seems to be impossible with the old tools that I have. For instance I've had rooted my phone successfully with TWRP + Magisk and everything work well, but the old Sixaxis controller apk or even the Sixaxis enabler apk doesn't recognize my controller or Bluetooth. The only thing that happens is some light blinking on the controller when I try to connect with USB + OTG. Did someone ever was able to make the Dualshock work on XT1926? Thank you since then.

Xbox One or other Bluetooth controllers with Tab S 8.4

Hiya, managed to pick up a Tab S 8.4 recently, was hoping to use it with a controller for steam link and/or moonlight game streaming. Tried to connect both an Xbox One controller and an ipega 9023 controller via Bluetooth but could not get either to work. They pair and connect to the tablet and show up as a connected controller under Bluetooth settings but they don’t do anything.
Anyone any idea if there is something in Android 6 or Samsung’s software that stops these working? If I upgrade via rooting and a custom rom am I likely to have any more success?
