Hi there, I'm used to using Moves to track my steps daily, but It's not working with my OnePlus3T at all accurately. It misses loads of steps. As does Google Fit.
Has anyone else experiences this and is there a fix?
I have searched the forums but couldn't find anything.
Many thanks.

Hi all
I am on my 3rd nexus 7, the first one had software issues with the battery settings, the 2nd one had the dreaded glass popping out, i have just received my 3rd one and i have noticed a little problem.
With the auto brightness set to either off or on, when i go into google chrome my brightness goes up a little, it kind of goes up in increments of 4, i.e it gets brighter a little four times then stays the same. When i come out of chrome it goes darker again in increments of 4.
If brightness is set to either minimum of maximum then it does not do this.
I am still waiting for the faulty 2nd nexus to be picked up so i tried that one and it does the same thing.
Has anyone else noticed this on there's??
Thanks all
Chris

Interesting that you ask this. I just came onto XDA to search for a thread I remembered reading mentioning an app to help with just this issue. I know its here in the main forum. If I find it I'll post the link for you.
This thread about the Trickster mod app mentions it as one of the app's features. I know it helped allot for me but read through the whole thread and consider turning off the auto brightness as well.

Many Thanks i appreciate that :fingers-crossed:
Has anyone else noticed that the XDA app sometimes loads a thread immediately and then other times it gets "stuck" where it can take a very long time to load? When it gets stuck, I can click back and then click the same thread again, which sometimes will load it quickly. I notice the exact same behavior in the Amazon app when clicking a product. It happens on both WiFi and LTE and has happened with every version of android so far on the N6.
I use XDA and Amazon all the time so this is a particularly frustrating issue for me.
UPDATE: here is a video demonstrating the problem with the Amazon app:

Which XDA app? Theres like a million of them. One of the tapatalk versions?
I'm using the XDA premium app.
I'm not convinced that it's an issue specific to the app though because I didn't notice this on my Nexus 4 and the exact same issue happens in the Amazon app.

XDA premium is based on Tapatalk and Tapatalk has problems on this forum. Its specific to this forum too, because taptalk works fine on other forums I use. I think the API on XDA for Tapatalk is outdated and since XDA are working on their own new XDA app (XDA One), they're probably not going to be too bothered to fix it.
Not sure about Amazon
Tapatalk has gone into the toilet over the years at this point I would honestly pay to go back to an old version. The iOS version is such a monstrosity and just so horrible its at the point of being unusable. if the thread I want actually comes up and displays I feel like I've won something.

Thanks for the replies. Seems like this might be something a new XDA app could fix.
Here is a quick video I made showing the Amazon issue:
Amazon App getting stuck on Nexus 6: https://youtu.be/bjDayQJVV3g
The first 2 products open fast and then the third gets stuck. I click back and re try 5 times and on the last try, it opens fast like the first 2 did. Anyone else have this issue with Amazon?
Yes you are correct ..Those are the worse two apps to get "stuck".. Only other app is WWE SUPERCARD..Every other app is fine..I do believe it is app issues not phone related.

Must be OxygenOS specific, I'm on LineageOS and it unlocks like a spitfire, in 0.4 seconds it fades right into the main screen. ?
Does anyone on here use Periscope? And if so how is it working for you? The problem I'm having is going live. I can go live and see people joining in but they can't seem to comment. Also after I stop the scope to replay it won't play. I'm on Open Beat 7 OnePlus 3T anyone with similar issue? Thanks..

Hi All,
I'm from the UK so have imported this watch in from the USA and am not using the SIM within the watch.
With my previous watch, Moto 360, I could ask Google to send a text to someone and after a short delay to be able to cancel, it would send.
This doesn't seem to be the default behaviour any more, is there any way to turn this on?
Paul
It's an unwanted behavior of Android Wear 2.0. I have heard of reports of an update fixing the issue on Huawei watches but I've never seen it confirmed. I was hoping updating to the 8.0 beta would fix the issue but it didn't.
