Purchased this case, just got it today (2 weeks shipping to me).
I am not affiliated with the seller in any way, this is simply me documenting my experience with the case so far.

I was looking for something light, cheap, snug fitting, and stylish, this case definitely fits the bill.
Lets start with the Negatives:
- the case is clear polycarbonate and is VERY prone to scratching in its current state (in my case I plan on giving it a frosted finish anyway so this doesn't really apply to my case)
- the corners of the phone are still partially exposed with this style of case in the event of drops (again I don't plan on dropping the phone )
Now The Pluses:
- Sturdy, the polycarbonate does not feel fragile or brittle at all and has some flex
- It feels a bit grippier in the hand than the stock back does
- the case edges are raised by 0.5 mm when you lay your phone face down so the screen doesn't touch the surface.
- Cheap under $6 gets the job done for me
- Light, feels alot lighter/more agile in the hand compared to the rubber case I had on it before (doesn't feel like I actually have a case on the phone now).
- Very snug fit; there is no way it is coming off the phone, you have to pry it off.

How do you feel this would compare to some of the more expensive cases in the market (incipio dual pro, spigen) in terms of actual drop protection?
Also, what screen protector are you using? Is that one of those tempered glass screens?
Edited. In terms of drop protection vs. incipio dual pro and spigen, the latters would be better protection, but they will also be bulkier, that is the trade off.
I have a rubber case that is more drop resistant than the IMAK case, but the IMAK is is much lighter/less bulky by comparison.
Also, what screen protector are you using? Is that one of those tempered glass screens?

Are the exposed rubber portions of the Dual Pro susceptible to major lint/dust attraction? If so, is it easy to clean (I was thinking of getting the white Dual Pro to match a white G2).
Do you think there's enough room on the sides of the case to have a tempered screen protector?
Didn't realize the phone came with a well-fitting screen protector from day 1. That's pretty cool!
I have never used the Spigen or Incipio but I think its fairly safe to say all 3 cases will have enough room for current slim tempered glass screen protectors once companies figure out the curved glass edges which are currently giving screen protector manufacturers a headache.
The stock screen protector is definitely a nice touch in the interim.

No experience with the DualPro, but they list the material as silicone.
My experience with silicone is it's a grippy material and does a good job attracting dust and having it stick to the surface. Cleaning is generally impossible unless you rinse it through some warm tap water.
I left the stock screen protector on my phone as well.

Definitely. My G2 is going to be coming in after black friday (at this point, there's no point in ordering now at full price) so hopefully the extra few weeks gives manufacturers some extra time to get the fit right.

Darn, I literally *just* placed an order for the white case. There was another poster in the forum that said that their DualPro was easy to clean by just wiping the dust/lint away. Now you're making me worry!

.....1.....The SNP Tempered Glass Protector (Price $32.00)
This one took a long time to receive it since it was coming from Korea with really slow cheap shipment, but the product had no damage so it was all good.
I thought I did good installation on the Tempered glass protector, but all around the edges I had gap (You can see it from the pictures). I contacted the seller and they told me that this screen protector is not for Verizon model, because of the 1mm curved edges. I guess the Korean version of the G2 don't have curved edges and I don't know about Atnt or Tmobile models.
So they gave me a full refund, since they didn't mention that it is not for Verizon models.
But if you have the Korean Version of the phone I really recommend it.
The Tempered glass protector covers close to edge to edge. The responsiveness and the clarity is excellent. The feel of this screen protector is really good. My fingers were sliding across really easy. Edges are smooth rounded so it feels smooth all around the edges.
Since the protector is close to edge to edge you can't use cases like the Diztronic cases or SGP Slim armor, etc. since it interfere with the screen protector that it will lift up the screen protector.
So you have to use the ones like Poetic Palette or Incipio Feather cases or etc.
Even though it had gaps all around the edges I have use this screen protector for 2 weeks and I had no issue with clarity or sensitivity. Overall performance of this tempered glass protector is really fantastic. If this had fit my phone then this one was a keeper...but It was just sad that it didn't fit my G2.
.....2..... Scosche 2.1A High Amp Dual USB Car Charger (Price $6.00)
If you are looking for fast dual USB car charger this one works out great. Like other dual USB car chargers have one 2.1A and one 1.0A Charging ports but Scosche car charging ports are both 2.1A charging ports. In other words...Scosche car chargers will charge 2 devices about the same speed as the OEM wall charger that you got when you bought your G2. It charges really fast.
Overall performance is really excellent. I have used this car charger for over 2 weeks now and have no problem so far. This just does exactly what it is suppose to do. It charges the phone as fast as the rapid wall charger, so this is a keeper for me. In my opinion this car charger is cheap compare other car chargers that charges slower than this.
.....3.....The Hohoo 9H Screen Protector (Price $12.50)
First this screen protector is NOT TEMPERED GLASS SCREEN PROTECTOR. This screen protector is made out of PMMA (Poly Methyl Methacrylate), it's basically acrylic. Im saying this because some of the sellers are posting this as a tempered glass protector when it is clearly not. There is a reason why the price point is low.
This one was a defected product which the top part of the screen protector adhesive part was not good that it made air gaps and if I leave it on for a couple of minutes it lifts up by itself, so I contacted the seller and the seller told me that he is sending a new one for me.
The installation wasn't that hard. The screen response was good and the screen clarity was really good. It feel like I was touching a tempered glass screen protector. My fingers glide really smooth. The screen protector size is basically little bit bigger than the screen, but it doesn't cover up the whole front side. In my opinion this is a really good size for the screen protector. Since I can put on Diztronic TPU cases without interfering with the screen protector (just has a tiny gap between the screen protector and the case edges).
Even though this was a defected product everything really work great except for the adhesive part. Going to wait for new one for my final opinion on this screen protector.
...4....The Hohoo 9H Screen Protector (Replacement)
I have received the replacement screen protector and the first thing that I have notice was that the boxing image was different from the first one that they have sent me. The next thing that was different was when I was installing it was the sensor area cut out. It doesn't make a huge difference but just fyi.
The second screen protector that I received had really good adhesives so I didn't get any air gaps. I had no issue with any sensitivity. The screen protector feels really smooth and my fingers slides through easily. The best part about this protector is that the size. I really think this is the best screen protector size for VZW G2.
I really like this screen protector but one problem for me with the screen protector was when I go outside in a really cold weather (near about 0°C) the protector just lifts up by itself for some reason. But if I put it back in a room temperature for a bit it start sticking back to the screen...I have tested 5 times doing this and also sent an email to the seller and the seller just gave me a refund. But in room temperature it doesn't have any problem. The adhesive is actually really good that even though I reattached it more than 5 times it didn't made any gaps or lifting in room temperature. This might be the material of the screen protector problem or I might have got a bad batch but in my experience it happen like that.
Overall performance is excellent. If I didn't had any issue with the lifting then this screen protector was a keeper for me. In my opinion the feel and strength and display is in the same level as the tempered glass protector. If you want tempered glass protector like features without paying a lot. This screen protector might fit for you.
I still have this screen protector on since I don't have any issue in room temperature. But I just have order a new tempered glass protector made from Glassview. It should be coming soon so until then I'm going to keep using this screen protector.
.....5..... Diztronic Cases (Price $10.00)
First impression with these cases were that it's really slim case. Diztronic cases are made out of TPU material. I have purchase two of Diztronic cases, matted black and clear type. Both types of cases have really good grip. The matted black case had so much better resistance against finger prints than the clear case. The matted black case had little bit more slippery feeling than the clear case, but the Matted black looks better than the clear one in my opinion. One final difference between these two types of cases is that the matted black case is $1 more expensive than the clear case.
All the cut out holes were perfectly aligned. On the top it has a lip that even though you put it face down it will protect from the screen touching the surface. This case purpose is basically to protect against everyday use scratches. If you drop the phone with this case on I really don't think this case will protect it from saving your phone.
Overall, if you want a slim case that doesn't any much bulk and protects every corner of your phone this is perfect. But for some reason if you think you will drop the phone get more bulkier case like Otterbox or Incipio Dualpro or etc.
.....6.....Incipio Feather Shine Case (Price $29.99)
I have used this case for over 2 weeks now and it is just perfect for me. Especially the back aluminum finish looks really nice and I don't have to worry about finger prints on the back of my phone anymore. The case fits really tight so there is no worry that the phone is just going to fall off from the case. This case is a really low profile case that it only covers the back and the sides and the four corners of the phone, but not covering the bottom and the top of the phone. This case have slightly lower profile than the Diztronic cases. It has a really small lip on the side of the phone. The lip of the case was about the same size as my screen protector that if I put it face down the screen protector is touching the bottom too. Since my screen protector's thickness is around 0.33mm so I'm assuming that the lip size is around 0.33mm. I'm not too worry about putting my phone face down since the screen protector I have so far stood up pretty good, but if you don't have screen protector just be careful if you are putting it face down.
The back aluminum finish looks nice but it makes the phone a bit slippery. I got some scratches on the aluminum finished back already, I think these scratches came from the keys that was in my pocket. I mean the phone case purpose is to prevent from scratching the actual phone so it is doing its job but it got scratched way too easily than what I was expecting from this case. I think my Hohoo screen protector is so much better against scratches than the aluminum finished case since my screen protector haven't got any scratches so far.
A lot of people complain about this case because of the signal lost, but to me so far I have not lost any signals or the case cause a weak signal. I'm getting the same signal bar with or without the case. I think some people complaining about the signal lost with this case on have got a bad batch of the case.
Overall, I think if you want a really low profile case with really nice look on the back then this case might be good for you. This is not a drop proof case. It's the same thing that I said about Diztronic cases, this is not the case that you want if you think you are going to drop your phone. This case is basically to prevent from everyday scratches.

Do the screen protectors need to specifically say for verizon? Or are they compatible with any model? I want to buy some screen protectors but they dont specify what model just lg g2

This is definitely a great case for those who are looking for something to make the phone a little easier to hold and protect the back from scratches. The outer lip lets me put my phone face down whereas before I would be afraid of scratching the screen.

I use the VZW Screen Protectors they had because I got 20% off the phone (when you buy 2 accessories) and they were like $7 for 3. The VZW guy didn't put it on very well but I used the second one and a hinge method to get it perfectly aligned and centered.
I use a Incipio Feather Rubber Matte Case and it doesn't affect the Screen Protector. The Diztronics are cool but I don't like the big lips around the edges that will screw with the protector sometimes. No problems with the Incipio.
Screen protectors are compatible for all models of G2. Only the Verizon Cases are different because I guess it is a 1mm thicker due to addition of Qi Charging.

I have used this Tempered Glass Protector for over 2 weeks now and I think this is the one that I'm going to keep.
First, the application process was really easy for me. I installed it in like 30s and was done with perfect alignment. The size and the cutout of this screen protector is just perfect. It avoid all the lifting all around the screen and it is really case friendly that it fits the Diztronic cases. Im not too sure about the bulkier cases like the otterbox or bulkier incipio cases since these cases use up a lot of bezel space. The Thickness is only 0.23mm but The quality of the screen protector is really good. It has 9H hardness that suppose to prevent from everyday scratches and more and it is also shatterproof. The sensitivity and feel of this screen protector is just fantastic. I had no issue with responsiveness and my fingers were gliding through really smoothly. It was really easy to wipes off the fingerprints from the screen protector. Between SNP and Hohoo Screen protector feel of the smoothness wise GlassView is a clear winner for me.
I think this tempered glass is better than the MIME Tempered Glass. Since MIME Tempered Glass is cut short on the sides that doesn't really completely cover the screen but GlassView is covers the whole screen.
Overall, I think this is the best Tempered Glass screen protector that you can find on the market right now (at least for me). I thought about buying iloome flex but it looked too thin and I really don't see that much difference between just regular screen protector and iloome flex. I wanted more sturdy screen protector and I think I found my winner. I think I'm going to stick with GlassView tempered glass protector for a quite a bit before I find something that is better.
PET, TPU, or Tempered Glass – all you need to know to choose a screen protector
A bit of a disappointment in the past, today's screen protectors are easier to install, cheaper, and better than ever in every aspect. There are three varieties - PET film, TPU (polyreuthane), and our undisputed favorite - tempered glass. And then there are two methods to get them on your display – dry and wet. So here's more about how screen protectors work and what they offer.
PET Film
Obviously, PET doesn't stand for a dog or a cat. It means "polyethylene terephthalate" - a type of plastic that's available in many variations depending on specific applications. In the manufacturing industry, it's used for mundane stuff like liquid and food containers. But this doesn't mean that PET film protectors are glorified water bottle plastic. They consist of polyester film with a scratch resistant matte coating on one side and a silicone adhesive on the other. Quality ones are quite clear and add a functional anti-scratch layer to your screen, but have no impact protection. And their scratch-resistance isn't better than what Gorilla Glass already has - it's limited to fingernails, coins and keys. They are cheap, and usually come in packs of three or more. Their downside is that plastic is the easiest to discolor from sun rays and oil buildup from your fingers, and it doesn't feel as nice as glass does to the touch.
If you have a cheaper or older phone, or you're fine with the most basic and affordable screen protection, get a PET protector. The manufacturer doesn't really matter, but if you have a soft spot for a particular brand, there's no reason not to go with theirs. Chances are that protectors from established brands will be better cut-out for your device and won't leave loose edges that can catch on to your clothes and peel the protector away (it has happened before).
TPU
TPU (thermoplastic polyreuthane) is next in the screen protector food chain. This is chemically-enhanced plastic whose properties include scratch resistance, elasticity, oil and grease resistance, and increased toughness. Since the material is elastic, it has limited "self-healing" abilities. This means that its slight softness gives it the power to absorb non-extreme impact, such as most drops and lighter scratches, while retaining all or most of its original composition. For example, lighter scratches usually leave just a small dent in the soft plastic, which slowly returns to normal.
The "military-grade" tag most TPU protectors proudly carry is worthy of an explanation. One manufacturer says that this material is used "to protect jetfighters". And what do you know, it's true! Skim through this Aerospace Surface Protection brochure - it's full of polyreuthane protective tapes used for "aircraft and windmill leading edge protection". However, getting a TPU case or screen protector doesn't guarantee it's made of the same quality of material. But your smartphone also isn't a fighter jet, right?
If you are willing to pay a slightly higher price, a TPU protector is, logically, better choice than PET film. At the very least, it's going to provide better impact protection (although you shouldn't be pushing your chances). It's also nicer to the touch, although it isn't glass-smooth. Arguably, the best part is that you'll get to explain to your friends and acquaintances how your phone has "fighter jet protection". Pretty cool, huh?
Tempered glass
Protection with a temper! Tempered glass (TG) screen protectors are the absolute best you can buy. Material-wise, a high-quality TG protector is multi-layered, usually starting with shock absorbent silicon on the bottom layer, followed by PET film, and an optically clear adhesive to 'sandwich' the previous two layers with the next two, which are tempered glass and oleophobic coating. All of this scratch, oil, and shock protecting goodness is compressed into a <0.4mm-thick sheet that's no harder to apply than a PET or TPU protector, and none heavier or otherwise obnoxious.
A glass protector is superior to its alternatives in every way. It has better light transmittance, making for a clearer display. It's anti-reflective and glare reducing. It has oleophobic coating, which heavily reduces fingerprints. It has the smooth feel of actual glass under your fingertips. Unlike Gorilla Glass 3, it resists sand scratches, making it the only viable option for beachgoers. And let's talk about shock protection. T-glass protectors boast a material hardness rating of 8H to 9H, meaning they are hard enough to resist scratches from anything that's not topaz or corundum (extremely hard aluminum oxide). Yet, they aren't completely shatter-proof. Since this is toughened glass we're talking about, in the event of a fatal drop, the protector will absorb all the damage and break into tiny shards. Chances are pretty good that your display will end up unscathed underneath. Thus, instead of having to replace the entire screen, you'll only have to get a new protector. Which is easier on both your soul and your wallet.
As you probably expected, tempered glass protectors are the most expensive kind. Most renowned brands can charge up to $40 for their products. And although that's money well spent if you are rocking an expensive flagship smartphone, excellent tempered glass protectors can be found for less than $15 online.
Dry vs Wet Mount
There are two methods for installing a screen protector - dry and wet. The method is usually specified on the box.
The dry method keeps the protector glued to the screen with static electricity. There's no adhesive involved, and the application is very straightforward. In short, you're supposed to enter a dust-free environment (either outside, or in your humid bathroom, preferably naked to prevent dust specs from your clothes), clean your phone thoroughly, align the protector and apply it. After a few tries, you will end up with near-perfect results. You don't have only one shot at this. Most dry-application protectors will let you carefully lift them off the phone and take care of misalignment and dust particles before trying again. Some even come with an electrostatic paper band to help you get rid of annoying dust.
The wet application method works by spraying liquid on the underside of the screen protector. It's a convoluted and awkward ordeal. You're tasked with the very precise placement of a thin, wet sheet of plastic - quite frustrating, because the liquid adds weight and gets the protector folding and dancing in every direction but the right one. Allegedly, wet protectors are easier to place without forming air bubbles or trapping dust, and are more resistant to peeling. If you mess up the installation at first, they too give second chances at applying them correctly. But all the phone drying, protector re-moistening and getting rid of excess liquid between it and screen is quite the patience test.
Wrap-up
With so many options available, and at very fair prices, getting a screen protector for your device has become a no-brainer. PET film products are the best choice for basic screen protection. TPU protectors can be a bit rare, but they have the best ratio of affordability and toughness. Finally, Tempered Glass protectors offer the ultimate in protection and feel, but they are the priciest of the bunch. Still, even the most expensive ones make sense for flagship smartphones and tablets.

How important a screen protector is for you?
Matte or clear type screen protectors - choose your poison!
If you are planning to get a screen protector, the first question that a seller will pop up to you is do you want a matte or clear type of screen protectors. There is absolutely no difference between them both in terms of quality but what makes them very distinctive is the looks or outcome after installation. Matte type is great for those who hate to wipe off the finger prints and those oily stains on your screen. For the record, if you are touching your screen, there is absolutely no way to avoid the smooches. If you are going for the matte type, you can well kiss good bye to those clear and high resolutions displays (Retina Display for iPhone and Super Amoled Plus for Samsung for example). However, the positive side of matter type is of course, anti finger print ability.
Gorilla Glass - is it worth taking the chances?
I know this is one of the most common questions for most. Can I actually count on Gorilla Glass to protect my smartphone from scratches. Gorilla Glass is made to protect the phone from normal damages but always keep in mind that Gorilla Glass will ensure the phone is scratch resistance and not scratch proof. Scratches could happen over time and again, it boils down to your self preference if you want to risk it. If you are a safe handler, then you could be fine with this option.
Touch sensitivity issue with screen protectors - myth vs real
Some users complained that when they fix screen protector on their phones, they felt there is sensitivity loss. Users around the world might experience this regardless the quality of the screen protector in this case. Although it is very rare for the occurrence, it could happen and trust me on this as I experienced it myself. If you are using a matte type screen protector, there is a higher chance of this compared to a clear type. Also, the chance of this increases if you uses a cheap screen protector.

It's also called hard shield and it's basically a spray that solidifies afterwards in about ten minutes. I personally have not used it . It's basically used for reduced smudges and finger prints with some protection but it has mixed customer opinion about it. The most common being uneven and taccy surface which might be due to uneven spray.

SMALL REVIEW FROM A USER
I have a tempered glass screen protector for my Note 3 and it fits and works perfectly. It's been on my phone for 2 months now. Not a single scratch to it and no peeling or dust accumulation at all. I would recommend one any time over a plastic protector. I got mine from a company called fasttech. They are very cheap compared to UK sellers and the company is very reliable even considering that they are Chinese.
AN OPINION FROM A USER
Tempered glass has an adhesive throughout the whole surface, not only the bezel/perimeter area.
The difference is very simple. If you want scratch protection, get a film screen protector, but make sure to get quality PET 3H hardness film like the one sold by iSmooth and Spigen. Cheap ebay stuff is thin, will scratch, will bubble after some time, and will have rainbow effect under the florescent light. If you want ultimate shatter protection - get tempered glass. On impact the glass will shatter without affecting your display. Spigen and Seidio makes some of the best ones. I'm personally a big fan of Seidio VITREO and been using it on my Note 2 for a very long time.
The Ghostek Bullet case ($14.95 on Amazon) might just be my favorite daily case. However, there are some things you should be aware of...
Pros:
The bottom of the case is completely flat and can be stood up on all sides if propped properly (Has a lot of straight edges).
Power button/ir blaster is unobstructed.
Volume rocker gives a very satisfying click when depressed.
Very sturdy design (The case and phone will survive several drops without shattering to pieces).
Has a nifty kick-stand (Case can be used as an impromptu tripod).
Very easy to remove and to install.
Camera portions have deep ridges (protects the lens from scratches).
Very modular (Consists of 3 pieces [top, middle, and rear]).
Easy to grip.
Not too pricy.
Cons:
Top, bottom, both sides of the screen, and both camera areas are not sealed from dust (There's a lot of gaps between portions of the case and the phone).
Did not come with a screen protector as advertized (maybe a miscommunication from the seller).
A bit bulky compared to a lot of cases out there.
Fingerprint and dust magnet.

Conclusion:
Now we all know our awesome phone is aesthetically curved and is very thin. In an attempt to protect this case from falls, this case makes the phone bulker and have flatter edges.
Although this case will let in lots of dust and debris, this is my favorite case to date. It's very durable and very serviceable. I'm sure with some Sugru or some silicone sealant, all the dust issues can be addressed, making this the perfect case.
thats a nice review.. however, i read in a few places that not all 4 corners are a perfect fit. the fit for one of the corners is not perfect i heard. did u come across anythin like that?
i got a love mei case.. but i get an annoying rainbow-like streak on my screen. it happens when i tighten the screws and the screen of the case and m8 screen come into contact. can i use this case with nilkin 9H tempered glass screen protector?
this is a good case but imo it is a bit too bulky for daily use. and the gaps also makes a lot of dust go in and there is a slight chance of scratching the phone if not kept clean from time to time,

so what slim dustproof case do u suggest.. that are shockproof to a certain extent?
Spigen slim armor + nilkin temprerd glass... is that a good combo?

well thats obviously a good combo that you mentioned. but if you want a little more slimmer that i suggest supcase unicorn beetle with a tempered glass protector. i am using UAG scout case with a glass protector. this case is quite nice too. :good:

I heard the unicorn beetle case covers the lens quite a lot and it affects photography when its late evenings... low light basically.. what do u think..
and someone posted this about the nillkin 9H screen protector.
"Worst ever tempered glass used , after application everything was good but when I removed it after a month it took out the oleophobic coating of the display now I can't use my phone without screen protector I guess the adhesive is too strong better I use your phone without this "
whats ur take on this?

i have read the same about nilkin protector. there are plenty of other brands i heard Zagg, skinomi, noot, intelliarmor etc. all has good and bad reviews. i personally use a slim glass protector from retail store (forgot the brand name). but i maybe switching to a full glass protector too. my personal preference is Zagg as it covers almost the full front except the speaker grills. http://www.amazon.com/ZAGG-InvisibleShield-Glass-Screen-Protector/dp/B00JZYF7QO/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1422376922&sr=8-16&keywords=tempered+glass+protector+m8
but supcase i don't think it cause image disturbance. in some cases when using flash some problems occurred. i think someone mentioned it was only on the clear back version. In the black\black version i think it does not happen. i am not sure as i am not using one currently.
I recently dropped my phone/case and the frame split ?.
I've never had an issue with the case fitment. It's a snug fit and you'll have to uncomfortably stretch the frame to get it on.
Got a pretty good replacement on eBay. As per my original case, I taped the openings and made cut outs of the ports to prevent scratches when plugging things in.
Any users of this case in this forum? Would you recommend it? Is there a lip above the screen and around the camera for protection?
I use this case with my old Mi5 and have no complaints, fits perfectly, the material is sturdy and feel good in the hands and after 2 years of use it looks like new.
I am considering buying one for my Poco but I think MOFI's case with fabric cover looks better.

If u are talking about this case (https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32919923124.html) then I have used it for 6 months its well built but exposes the top and bottom of the phone, I usually handle my phone pretty well and dont drop it but once I dropped it from approx 3-4ft on marble floor nothing happened to the case or the phone. Talking about the lip there is none, while resting the phone on the table the screen touches the table and there is no gap so my advice is to use a tempered glass along with this case.
I just bought the black one and I'm pretty satisfied. Quality is what you'd expect from Nillkin, top notch. Protection is weak though, and I'm worried if I drop the phone with this case on compared to if I was using the Spigen Rugged Armor. Nevertheless, it is really slim. The Spigen one was so damn bulky and heavy it was painful to use for extended periods of time. There is a bump around the camera module, though no lip in front of the display. Still, can recommend this one to anyone looking for a minimalist and slim case.
