Actually, Note 4X is re-branded as simply Note 4 in India (and maybe some other countries), which is also Mido.
So, regardless of the name, if your Xiaomi/Redmi Note 4 series phone has SnapDragon (SD 625) processor, it is Mido. If it has MediaTek (MTK), it is Nikel.

My previous device was asus zenfone 6. And i bought redmi 4x 32gb 2-3 days ago. If you want better performance, battery backup, camera, do not even buy asus. My friends are using ze551ml and it cannot be compared with redmi 4x - 3s. This is my opinion

Did you mean Redmi Note 8T? If yes, the phone you're talking about is in the different class than the Redmi 8, the Redmi 8 is a low-end device with SD 439 and HD+ IPS display with either 3 or 4 GB of ram and 32 or 64 GB of storage respectively. But the Redmi Note 8T has SD 665 and an addition of 4/128GB combo, and an FHD+ IPS display. Oh and, the Redmi Note 8T has significantly better camera(s) than ones in the Redmi 8, but smaller battery than the Redmi 8's 5000 mAh by 1000 mAh. And yes, I am very certain that 8T will have Android 10 update. And one more thing, the Redmi Note 8T is just the same phone as the Redmi Note 8, just with an addition of NFC. I think roms for the Redmi Note 8 should work with the 8T, you'll probably have to expect NFC to not work with those roms though.

go for redmi note 7 pro then or checkout A3 as A2 is old but still has good dev community but consider something new its always good upto you thankyou

Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro, are totally different.
You can't share files and roms between them.
If you try it, certainly you will brick your device.

Earlier i have Redmi Note 7 pro and EVO gamepad works with Dolphin Emulator. It does not work with Redmi Note 10 Pro Max MIUM 12.5.
It works fine on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 not not on redmi Note 10 Pro MAX
Can any1 please help how to make this work.
