Hi,
I'm trying to install LineageOs on an Xperia SP C5303 that is currently running with Android 4.3.
I followed the tutorial of the official wiki of Lineageos. Everything works correctly (adb fastboot+ USB + bootloader unlock) until I try to access recovery mode.
I tried :
- the power + volume + key combination (and all key combination possibilities) does not work. It starts normally.
- by adb / fasboot, the phone reboot but in normal mode.
- using the SUs + quickreboot idem it restarts normally.
- I tried to flash the recovery with twrp but after the command I have a message that tells me that it does not find the partition recovery.
I have the impression that my Xperia is devoid of recovery (it is possible?) And that I have to create a partition and I install a recovery.
Brief, how to solve the problem and access the recovery?
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
Failure of installing Xposed Framework on CM10 4.2.2 led to bootloop; I don't know why, but I couldn't access Recovery Mode by pressing Home + Vol up + Vol down + Power, so using
Code:
adb wait-for-device && adb reboot recovery
worked fine until I wiped data and cache; now my device is still bootlooped and I cannot access Recovery Mode either by pressing mentioned buttons or by adb which shows my device as offline. I am afraid that deleting RSA fingerprints in this process unabled adb seeing the phone , am I right? Reinstalling different Recovery ROMs via Odin or phone disassembling for checking if keys are working didn't help either. If my bootloader is corrupted, is there any way to fix it? How can I access Recovery Mode in order to reinstall my system?
SOLUTION:
1. Download STOCK ROM from official Samsung website
2. Enter Download Mode and install it by Odin - your current system, recovery, bootloader(?) will be overwritten and from this point you can install your favorite ROM again
Hello,
I have rooted my Xperia z (c6602 - 5.1.1) by kingroot apk. And never unlocked my bootloader.
Now I am unable to enter in recovery mode by pressing hardware keys. So I used quick boot apk but it also don't work. Any colour led notification light don't lights up During the power on.
So what is the problem?
How to enter recovery mode?
Please help, thanks in advance

You have to unlock your bootloader first and then install the recovery (cwm, twrp) either by flashtool or by adb. Then on restart pressing the vol keys will lead you into the recovery.
There is no way to go into recovery mode in xperia devices.

no need to unlock bootloader to install recovery
once you have rooted, you can install dualrecovery by [NUT]
search on the forum and you know how to do it.
Hey Guys
Whenever I turn on my phone it goes into fastboot mode, I am not sure why.
I have tried using fastboot reboot in adb but it still reboots into bootloader(keep in my mind i don't write reboot bootloader)
I even flashed the stock rom using SP Flash tool but even then I don't seem to have any luck.
I tried holding the upper volume button and the power button but it still doesn't reboot into recovery and just gives me a faint text saying "-> FASTBOOT MODE"
the phone can;t even boot into META Mode
Every and any help at all is appreciated
If you have TWRP recovery, try to install a custom ROM or the Stock Rom , Or try to enter in the fastboot and in the pc you download the ADB and install TWRP for you phone (I solved this problem via this method, You can find tutorial about this in internet) I am not responsible for any damage that may occur to your device (You can starts in the bootloader mode pressing Volume Down and the power key)

hello i have recently rooted my sony xperia sp via towelroot. ive download twrp via playstore and flashed the appropriate file. but i cant seem to enter recovery mode. can someone give me a buttong combo i googled and tried all option.maybe someone has a diff alternative thanks.
Did you unlock bootloader in your Xperia sp?
i have a c5303. also use towelrootto root, then install twrp app to flash twrp.img. it is not working.
The step of twrp installation
1) unlock bootloader
2) root device
3) flash twrp with app
then i follow the sony's website official way to unlock bootloader.
To unlock bootloader, device have open fastboot mode. Press and holding volume up, connect the usb to pc(still hold volume up, until the blue light is on). I am using windows 10. if you didn't update the driver to "adb interface devices" fast enough, the phone will power off and exit fastboot mode. i only have a few second to update the driver in my pc(if Xperia sp in fastboot mode, the blue light is on). i read so many page about adb, fastboot, google usb driver install.
Help!
I have a European Mi 9t Pro and have just flashed the Global (stable ) MIUI12 rom.
So far so good, it works... but I am now unable to access extended power menu options (aka Recovery Reboot).
The option has also disappeared from the MIUI update settings.
And performing the VolumeDown+Power boot only gets me to a minimal menu with 3 options: reboot to system / wipe / connect with MIAssistant.
I tried using ADB tools to re-flash TWRP to no avail.
The fastboot flash recovery twrp.img command works fine, I get the expected successful output.
But then the fastboot boot twrp.img command returns a "no such file or directory" error.
What can I do? T_T

You enter recovery with volume up and power. What happens if you try that after flashing TWRP?
If your not used to it, it is a little different on Xiaomi devices. Keeping holding both until the phone vibrates, then release power but keep holding volume up.
Thanks for the suggestion, but that's the first thing I did, and it had no effect. Don't know why :/
In the end I resorted to flashing Xiaomi.eu in place of MiuiGlobal ... for some reason it was making it impossible to access Twrp without ADB
This solved the problem, but now my Mi9TPro is back to believing it is a K20Pro. No biggie.
Unfortunately, the only way to achieve that was to wipe my data too x_x
Good thing I have almost everything on the cloud.
Problem solved, I guess
Because only eu.miui or eu.miui based roms have that extended power menu it isn't available on any of the stock miui roms afaik.
Flashing miui means stock recovery...
You only need to type 'fastboot reboot' then just hold volume up to get to recovery.
