Hi. A new OTA update Oxygen OS 4.1.4 is now rolling out for OnePlus 3. The changelog says that it only fixes screen flickering issue in Indian region.

people are reporting bugs on this update (namely launcher and theme related)...
this seems to me that OP wants to burn the 4.1.4 build number so their next big update becomes 4.1.5 (for obvious OP5 hype reasons)...
so they thought make a minor update for 1 region for an issue most people didn't even complain about, and that way their next stable (which probably will also be the OS on OP5) will have 4.1.5 build...
if you don't have any screen flickering issues, i strongly advice against updating to 4.1.4...it doesn't even have a support thread on OP forums.
i cant seem to install twrp recovery when i updated to 4.1.4
i used the fastboot method which was earlier working
now i get to twrp flashscreen and it stays there, never gets ahead, have to reboot from there by power button
any suggestions?

I found another thread which seems to deal with the same problem but its a different phone and its for JB 4.1.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34456721&postcount=1
I think It maybe a Camera Firmware problem, If so where can I get the firmware or drivers for the camera?
Any other ideas?
Thanks for your help in advance!
Daniel
it's a bug introduced in the CM nightly on the 14th (and copied by many other ROMs). the latest cm nightly fixes it.

Thanks M8
Last night when I updated CM it must have been hours before the new nightly was released
Will update to new Version when I get home tonight and let you know what happens.
BTW am I the only one that has to delete the first few lines of the updater script so I don't get the status 7 error?

Status 7 error is caused by an outdated Version of cwm recovery. Update it through rom manager and you're good to go

No you're not, and if you actually bothered to search you would have found the answer without needing the guy above me to supply it.

Yay! Camera works again. Whooooo! Updating CM build to 0917 fixed it.
Edit: But video recording doesn't work well, lol. had to reboot my phone after attempting to take video.
Thanks everyone, even to the sarcastic people out there
I'm just throwing this out there to maybe save a few people out there the headache and wasted time I experience not knowing Xposed would not install with the latest version of TWRP and was not compatible with Android 5.1 (at the time of this writing.)
How did I make this mistake a few days ago? 95% of all web pages describing any requirements (including the official thread here) or describing installation instructions fail to mention either of these issues. Granted most of those articles were probably written before 5.1 was released and just not updated. For the person that simply googles "Xposed Android Lollipop Installation" instead of wading through dozens and dozens of post in XDA, to finally find a post that discusses the 5.1 incompatibility, this is a potential pitfall.
I do think the official thread should say "compatible with Android 4.0 to 5.0.x" instead of just saying "compatible with Android 4.0 and above."
Just want to say that i flashed Xposed with TWRP 2.8.6.0 and it works fine on Moto G Titan :good:
yes. this happened to me too.

Can't flash xposed using TWRP 2.8.6.0, too. My device is Nexus 5 Android 5.0.1. Switching to TWRP 2.8.5.3 solve this.

Xposed currently is only for 32 bit ROMs.
Well that's good to know, will save a lot of money by not upgrading to the M9

There is an issue with some (maybe all?) TWRP 2.8.6.0 builds missing the "unzip" binary and busybox in general. I know this affects hammerhead and victara at least. I've added a small check to the installer to account for this but probably the best course of action is to use 2.8.5.x until the issue is resolved with the TWRP build servers.
This does not only affect Xposed BTW. SuperSU 2.48 beta was just released and contains a similar check for the same reason.
Wait.....i have the TWRP 2.8.6.1 and use the modules without problems but i am on android 4.3. stock S3.......maybe for this? xposed is incompatible with the last TWRP but on L, right?
i have install with twrp on my nexus 5 well but whent boot its optimize the app and finish, when finish its do restart like boot loops.. why and how i can fix it please?
The OP should fix the thread title, afaik it only concerns 2.8.6.0 builds.
I'm on Lollipop 5.1 with TWRP 2.8.6.1 on Nexus 5 and I was able to flash and use the Xposed Framework no problem.

Hey, I found an thread on honorbuy, check this out http://www.honorbuy.com/forum/forum...xtra=page=1&filter=typeid&typeid=65&typeid=65
I think its got to do with either your theme or if your using launcher. My notifications were this way with the action launcher.
10th May - I can confirm its due to theme. Choose them wisely.
Hi, I have the same problem and have tried several themes, I'm pretty sure none of them corrected it. I'm on MIUI Global 7.2.4.0 Stable (can't change the ROM yet, but I will as soon as I can).

Hi,
Do you have a suggested theme to clear this issue please? I'm on Global 7.2.4.0 Stable.
Thanks very much.
YT
The problem isn't related with a theme. Apparently i bought the Mi5 with a non official ROM.
Solution: I've unlocked my bootloader and flashed a different ROM form xiaomi.eu. Problem Solved!

Post a changelog (screanshot) if a more detailed one appears after you install.
Just finished the update.
Same line as I posted above in the "what's new" section
Here's screenshot of updated phone info
Just updated to this last night. No issues so far
You should really post that in news and discussion forum, not here. This sub forum is for ROM, kernel development, so this post got nothing to do whit it.
Puff... They didn't touched the kernel side from 8.1.2 same version, same signature. Will probably skip this one...
download link plz.

If you're still on miui 7 and you checked for update and it says you're up to date, there's a chance that your rom is currently running a fake global ROM. I had that experience with my Mi 5 before.
Check here http://en.miui.com/download-302.html , global ROM now for hydrogen is 8.1.4.0.

Sorry for dissapointing you but i havent really tried any other roms
I have been using this ROM for a few days without anything critical.
The only issue I notice is that VolTE does seem to be working; I do not get the HD symbol on phone calls (I did before on other various custom ROMs and on Stock)
Also, enabling Zygisk on Magisk 25.2 causes a bootloop.
Do NikGapps work on this ROM?
