Active Noise Cancelling Huawei AM180 Charge - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

Hey,
Do you have any idea if you can port the ANC headset charging system from Huawei? Guess it's a software feature.
I'm a developer so I can try to do this by myself but I don't know what to search for or where to look.
Thanks

Very low volume with 3rd party headset

Hi!
I bought a third party headset off ebay so that i could use a microphone with a 3,5mm plug to regular earphones. The problem is that I hear almost nothing. At first, I thought it didn't work at all but after cranking system volume to 100% i can barely hear music (and people talking to me). Is there any way to raise the volume even more? A registry entry perhaps? If not, could someone recommend a headset with microphone and a 3,5mm plug? Probably I bought a bad headset...
Thanks,
Gustav

[Q] Earphones Adjusting Volume Automatically/Activating Speech Options

I just recently purchased some new earphones (Sennheiser IE7) and when I plug these into my HD7, they randomly activate the speech recognition options (even though I have disabled this in the settings), adjust the volume and pause Zune playback.
Cheaper earphones don't do this when plugged into the phone and nor does a Bluetooth headset, it only seems to happen with these particular earphones.
Has anyone experienced this with other head/earphones or knows of a way to stop this kind of thing happening?
Thanks in advance.
I have experienced this also. When I use a male to male 3.5mm cable to my receiver the phone acts as if the -vol button is held down. This does not happen when I use a really cheap sony behind the head style earphone or the buds that came with it.
My guess is that its caused by the spacing on the connector (you know, between the little rings).
Try a bunch of earphones. If you're desperate, you could try splicing the connector of an earphone that works with the earphones you want to use. Otherwise I would say its not worth it; the audio components in the HD7 don't seem to have great quality anyway. I had a razr2 and the sound quality was better than the soundblaster in my computer.

I have issues with my headset mic and the button ,the headset works perfectly on all the devices i tested ,lg ,samsung ,huawei and apple ,everything works fine in term of audio ,the sound is great on the oneplus too but the mic is not working or the sound is almost silent for the other person i'm in call with neither the remote button on the wire ,i've been to 3 services and they told me the headphone jack was fine but i replaced it anyway with a brand new one ,still no positive result ,has anyone else been trough this issue and managed to fix it ? please let me know how it's so frustrating to not be able to use the headset for calls and hold the phone while doing basically anything :/

Exactly what happens to me too , i've heard on the oneplus forum back on the day when the oneplus 1 came out there was a software bug wich could be fixed by modifying the build.prop ,tried that with no success , then i've heard about different types of connection standards on the headphone jack ( OMTP and CTIA ) Still wondering looking for a fix and if i'll ever find something i come back and let everyone know .

Bluetooth Sound not Loud enough

Hi Guys
Since one Week i got the Huawei P30 Pro and some sony wh-1000xm3 Headset that are connected with Bluetooth. The Volume is way to low and i was wondering if someone has an idea. All the things that are mentioned in others threads where made. I joined the developer mode to change the bluetooth limitation but i didn't saw no change.
I used a PreAmp App but the Sound is getting very crispy and bad as soon i put up the Amp. I'm pretty frustrated because it's not working. With a cheap Headset (JBL 50$) the Music way better and louder.
What i did not tested was the Wired connection between Phone and Headset but i will test that and let you know. Also i had not the time to test with another phone to make sure it's not the headset itself.
Someone got an idea what i can do because i'm playing with the idea of giving back my phone if there is no solution to it.
Thanks in advance for any possible Idea.
activate developer settings, then activate "volume control over bluetooth"

Hi
If you read my Text correctly i did that allready. I gave back the Headphones today and got them changed.
Ater that i visited a bik Market and tryed out allot of other models over my Phone + USB-C to 3.5mm Jack and they where sounding awfull. Funny thing is when i got home i tried the ones that came with the Phone and they Sound amazing. They Airpod style and i don't like how i have to wear em but the sound was brilliant.
So i think Over Ears with USB-C will make the thing but it seems to be dificult to find em.
Hey, I had the same problem with those Sony's with my Sammy s9 and never managed to get it fixed but since I got the p30 pro it's been fine. Much better volume now. No help for you but lots of sympathy. I know how bad it sucks.
I have been using the b&o E8.2 for about 6 months now with my p30 pro I haven't noticed any low volume issue sound is just magnificent

Did you try bluetooth absolute volume enabled? ( I did that for my airpod pro is it's much louder than before you can find that under the developer mode assuming you already have it enabled. Once you enable make sure you restart to get the results.

Hi
Yes did that and it gets louder but the sound gets dirty not hearable for my ears. I want both things clear and Loud sound.
But i think i got some sort of solution buying a DAC lie the Ibasso oder the Meizu that amps up that stuff.
News
Hi Guys
So i got some News. I had the Chance yesterday to test some Headphones. All the Wireless ones are not Loud enough. Also the ones that i could test with a USB-C to 35mm Jack adapter and a cable from the Shop itself where also horrible to listen to.
I also picked up that USB-C to 3.5mm Jack Adapter from Huawei itself and with my JBL headset the Sound is almost Loud enough and Clear. But i found a Thread in a Hifi Forum and i think the Piece of hardware i need to get some decent Sound is a DAC. That is a Digital to Analog Converter that amps up the Music without distorting the Sound. There are several Models and if someone is interested i would have a look at this thread in here .https://www.head-fi.org/threads/usb-c-to-3-5mm-adapters-dac-lets-find-the-best.908839/page-30.
For me i decided that i give up on that Bluetooth and Wireless Crap and simply get a decent Wired Headphone with a DAC. I think that will do the Job.
There are HTC and Hidisz USB C to Jack adapters available with a built-in DAC. They both work brilliant with the P30 pro
did you notice that your Sony headphones have their own volume? try to "volume up" pressing your headphones
On the other hand, I tried different headphones (airpods pro, freebuds 3, airpods 1...) with Huawei p30 and p30pro, and I had volume troubles with the p30pro, the volume was too low; with P30 the volume is perfect... I dont know why

Audio is too low through USB-C

Hello,
I just bought a pair of really good headphones, Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO, and the sound is very low on max setting. I don't know why, I don't know how... My other Bluetooth or other headphones work great and sound is there, but with these and AMP/DAC Dragonfly RED and a Dragontail (USB to USB-C adapter), I get no sound that I want and that bothers me. If something is wrong or it just doesn't understand my setup or USB-C is a wrong hole for the music to play through? I have searched and read threads and websites with no result.
So, I am asking you for suggestions, anything goes. I tried a couple of sound boosters and they just make my music sound like crap, tried all the settings in the phone, I don't know what else is left to do...
Thank you in advance.

DT1990 Pro has resistance of 250 Ohm what makes it a fairly hard model to drive without an external amp. Dragonfly should be enough though. Is your PC driving them well? Maybe Sony can't power Dragonfly sufficiently.
