Hi! I'm in trouble to find a way to set an activity when I press headset button (dial button). Why I can find nothing about it? Do I need a plugin?
About my device:
- Zuk Z2 Plus
- Android 7.1.2 ( RR with pico gapps)
- Tasker v. 4.9.b7m
There is an Xposed module called Psychical Button Music Control.
It has a lot of built-in functions and can run Tasker tasks.

We knew about feature "Long Volume Skips Track" by using volume button to next track music when screen off. But when use it frequently, volume button may be damaged. Idea is used camera button (press focus) instead of button volume. Anyone know how to do that ????
Sorry for my bad English !!!!
- Update (27/07/2014) : I found a module xposed can do it. This is Xposed Additions (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spazedog.xposed.additionsgb).
No idea or way to do this ???

You can use Xperia Xposed (KK) to PAUSE the music by camera button. (not sure if it works on Z2 because I don't have one). To use Xperia Xposed app you need to be rooted and have xposed installer btw.
I tried it but i can't not go to next song

Hi,
anybody knows a way to go to the next music song without using the Touchscreen?
Or an App that has this function integrated?
I am using Sennheiser headphones with a remote control with 3 Buttons (+, - and Play).
Thx for your help!

If You Are Using Xposed 2.5 Then Install Latest Version of GravityBox and In Media Tweaks Enable Long Press Volume Keys Skip Track ....Then Reboot and Then When You Are Playing Songs And Screen Is Turned Off ... Long Press Volume + Or Volume - Key on Phone Will Change Music
The above reply is for Xposed 2.5.
If you have Xposed 2.5+ (2.7 for example), disable resource hooks in Xposed settings, install the framework, reboot then find in downloads section of Xposed 'Physical Button Music Control', install it, enable the module and customize your settings.
You can do 2 short volume up press for next track, 1 long press, 3 short press etc, you can customize how you like it with that module.

2.5 doesn't need to disable resource hooks and also allows advanced reboot menu and customized nav bar and many other modules

I know.. Read again the first 12 words of my previous post.
i forgot to say that my P7 isnn't rooted...
just double click the play button on your headset
Would like double-tapping the power button to launch a media player. Is that doable? I'm rooted (no xposed module seems to offer this).
Have you tried Xposed Additions?
It doesn't allow you to map to a specific application
I'm not sure if this will work or not, but can you set Xposed Addition to run a Tasker task on click to open the media player?
Edit: Seems like you can only launch apps or run a task on the pro version of Addition.
Hello. I just ask if there is no other way to get some xposed most beloved functions surrogate till one of well known xposed heroes will publish the first nougat xposed versions . Maybe some if you discover some interesting apps that can help us, xposed fans , to make easier this waiting time
For example,I discovered an way ( surrogate ) to bring back my most beloved xposed function : back button kill active task. What way ?
First, you will need an rooted S8. Second, you will have to install Custom Bixby Button (S8 / S8+) from Google Play store. This is the only Byxby button remapper I found that can execute an widget or an shortcut of other app. Second, you have to install Taskmanager by ByteHamster : an taskmanager that kill active tasks . Set both of them as Device administrators in Accessibility/Services. Taskmanager have an widget that kill all apps. It is easy. Just open Custom Bixby Button (S8 / S8+) ,push "single tap" and select "App/App shortcut/KillAll". Evrika ! When you will push Bixby button, you will kill all active tasks.
I hope you can share your experience with all Xposed comunity members and all Xposed lovers.
All my respect to Rovo89 ,the man that set us free, all android users.Thank You for all your effort and all your work till now.
I also want to thank to arter97 , topjohnwu, wanam and all other that contribute to this great project.
Hi guys,
First of all, I do not use Gestures and its not activated. So please don't tell me you can do a V on lockscreen, I know already.
I used to have crDroid on my previous OP3T device. You could activate the flashlight on long press of the power button when the screen was off.
Is there any way of adding such a feature to OxygenOS? The device is rooted if it can help. Maybe an available package on F-Droid would allow such customization?
Alternatively, maybe a lockscreen shortcut button on bottom left along with the camera button?
Any way to quickly activate the flashlight with minimal handling of the phone/screen.
Thx
i am looking for built in feature too, but you can use this for now :
Key Mapper - Apps on Google Play
Unleash your keys! Open source!
play.google.com
tested it: seems accessibility is off for this app for security reasons.
