Changing firmware to remove bloatware, ui customizations, and bootscreen - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can I change the firmware of my galaxy note 5 lg u+ (korean carrier) to a stock factory firmware one? Without the lg u+ bootscreen, lg u+ bloatwares (that cant be even disabled), lg u+ calendar and keyboard customizations. Just plain stock samsung UI. If so, can you teach me how (in the easiest way - without rooting my phone, if possible)... . Would also appreciate if you can suggest the right firmware to download. I currently live in the Philippines now. My phone model is SM-N920L with korean build no. N920LKLU2CPL5. Highly appreciate any help.

Hi sorry to bring up a old thread but I have the same phone which has a non stock firmware (de-bloated) and was looking installing the stock Korean rom onto the phone so I could get OTA running again. but haven't found any reviews on the stock Korean rom are you able to say what it does or does not do that annoys you?

[Q] Switching Galaxy S Vibrant (Canada) to Asian rom, is it safe?

I have been using Galaxy S Vibrant (with front camera) from Bell Canada. My only complaint is it did not come with a default chinese handwriting software.
I want to be able to write (not type in pinyin), and I know the asian model of Samsung Galaxy S have it built-in.
My Question:
1. Is it safe to modify my rom to Asian rom? If so, will any other application/setting be screwed?
2. If I decide to switch back to Canadian stock rom? Can I?
3. Where I can d/l the official stock rom and the asian rom?

[Q] Sprint P100 to UK tab?

Hi there.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab P100 Sprint. I live in the UK and want to possibly flash a rom that will convert this for UK use? At the moment the market and everything is in american (obviously because this is a Sprint tab).
I've seen guides from Sprint to ICS. But I imagine this will this be exactly the same (american wise).
I'm currently on stock Gingerbread - Ideally I want a a clean gingerbread/ICS ROM with UK market.
Could I possibly update to Sprint ICS and use Titanium Backup to remove all the Sprint Bloatware?
Any guides or help/info would be appreciated.
Thank you.

[Q] What are my options for the firmware upgrade/flash?

Hello.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S III Mini which is unlocked but also unrooted. I wish to get rid of the branded firmware that has useless apps from the mobile service provider that I don't use (the reason I unlocked the phone). This is my first smartphone ever so I'm very new at this but I read some topics and I understood that I do not really need to root the phone if flashing a stock firmware, however I want to be sure if it's better to root it just in case.
I wish to know which one is the best firmware for me to use (preferably unbranded stock firmware).
My version is in the screenshot.

Check here for the latest version for your country: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=1
For an example, the V10B is an update to V10A.
So, if you have for your country V10A, V10B, V10C, I would go to the latest (V10C).

F340L Korean model

Hi there guys, are there any methods for unbranding a U+ Korean F340L 20a, everything that i can find on the www is related to the K versions or some other version not from europe. ny kernel version is 3.4.0 Software version is F340L20a, Baseband version is M8974A-AAAANAZM-1.0.190093 so what can i do to flash this phone with a least simple kitkat, moded version would also be nice but i do not have any expectations, i just wish to remove the branding from the U+ LTE provider.
Can you post a screenshot of the branding? It may be a simple theming thing, but in not sure what your taking about. Also on the future this should be in q&a not development
