I used the ODIN Root for my Verizon Galaxy S6 Edge (model 925V). I did everything, downloaded the autoroot proper zips and exe's and all, and began to root. Everything was going fine, my ODIN exe told me everything was fine, and my phone boots up...
...and stays stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge:Custom, Powered by Android" splash screen.

The bootloader on the SM-N925V is not supposed to be used with chainfires root because it's locked and chainfires website is really not supposed to be showing the SM-N925V like it is but unfortunately he has a slight issue that is causing it to show phone's (with locked bootloaders) that in reality cannot be rooted like that. You're going to have to boot into Odin and flash the very last firmware... Even on his website he specifically says trying to use these files on a phone with a locked bootloader = bricked!!

Go into Odin options before flashing that and uncheck auto reboot and after Odin finishes flashing the firmware successfully then pull the plug from the phone and press and hold the volume down and power button at the same time until the screen turns off and release and then select factory reset and let it finish.

Hey guys. Ive had a note 3 before in the past and have used the Root DelaVega to root successfully. This was early in the year. I sold my old note 3 for an HTC One. Well today i traded my HTC One back for a note 3 as i missed the Note 3. As soon as i came home i attempted to use the Root DelaVega method to foot (just like i did before) and immediately it failed.
I have been stuck on a screen saying "firmware update encountered an issue - select recovery in Kies" so i tried Kies 3.2 however it says my device is not compatible. Come to find out after doing research (talking to the original owner i traded my HTC One for) the Note 3 i have is on the latest version of KitKat 4.4.2 that is not compatible with the Root DelaVega method or any root method - so i screwed that up. I can successfully boot in and out of download mode. Ive tried to flash N900XXUDNA6 4.4.2 in Odin several times, it begins then fails almost immediately and the bar on the phone itself (in download mode) begins then freezes shortly after beginning. Ive also tried to flash N900XXUDNC1 JellyBean thru odin and get the same results - almost immediately fail and the blue status bar on the phone freezes when it barley begins. What else can i do??? am i totally screwed? Ive been researching and trying to fix this for 6 straight hours now! My gf is about to kill me for being online so long Is there anything i can do at this point? Am i stuck
[UPDATE] .after looking around all day i have found i am able to successfully flash the n900a AP, CP, and PIT files, however the problems seems to be whenever i try to flash a Bootloader file. The update gives me the error on the phone "SW REV CHECK FAIL" FUSED 3 BINARY 2. My knox counter is still 0x0. By flashing the at&t AP, PIT, and CP files the phone now boot loops and no longer takes me to the screen requesting me to restore thru KIES. However all it does it bootloop. I try to boot into recovery and it will tell me at the top left of the screen "booting recovery" but then just turn off and go right back to the "samsung galaxy note 3 screen" Does anything have any idea here?????

Yeah, it seems that the N900XXUDNA6 is not for the US Variant
"N900XXUDNA6 Android 4.4.2 KitKat official firmware update for Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900 is now rolled out by Samsung. This is the first KitKat official firmware for Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900. The firmware update rolled out in various countries including Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia, Thailand and India"
The DNA6 would be for the SM-N900 Exynos CPU devices, not the SM-N900A Snapdragon. That is probably your problem (In addition to trying to roll back to JB from KK)
Unfortunately, I dont know of any stock KitKat firmware. There is MI9 on Samfirmware's site, but that is JB not KitKat

You could try to stop the boot, go back into Recovery and wipe cache, and wipe all data. I had an experience with my last device (SGSIII) that would boot loop sometimes when flashing back to a stock ROM.
Other than that, I dont have any other ideas
Just Googled the "SW REV CHECK FAIL" FUSED 3 BINARY 2", from what I found the Fused 3 means you were on Kit Kat, and Binary 2 basically means you are trying to downgrade to JB
It wont let me even boot into recovery. I hold the buttons and it boots back up saying "booting into recovery" like it is, then it just boot loops again.

The only other things I saw on that, suggested to users(on a different Samsung device) to use a jig to get it back into recovery. I am not familiar enough with the N3 yet to know if a jig will work on our devices. My guess is you messed up the bootloaders
Edit** I think that since things are so locked down that your best bet might be to try what jerrycoffman45 suggested a few posts ago

My local at&t and best buy aren't very helpful for anything at all. ill keep googling ive been at this for 2 days now
There is no firmware to download for 4.4.2 yet so you are stuck till there is or do what I suggested you could also do a warranty exchange by calling att and you can't just go to any att store it has to be a service center

GUIDE/ROM[4/1][AT&T][NC2_Bootloader][ N900AUCECMGL KITKAT][Stuck Download-Mode FIX]
Hello everyone,
The situation is more or less this one: my phone stopped to work since the Lollipop has installed on it automatically, I allowed that update of course. Since then became very unstable, till start looping constantly...
FYI: Bought the phone in US but I'm living in Portugal, so Samsung over here didn't gave me any support due to warranty restrictions.
So I tried to solve the issue by myself and completely messed up with the phone.
I downloaded the Firmware version: I9295XXUDOD3_I9295OXXDOD1_I9295XXUDOD3_HOME.tar.md5
Model GT-I9295
Model name GALAXY S4 Active
Country Portugal (TPH)
Version Android 5.0.1
Changelist 4556221
Build date Thu, 16 Apr 2015 07:43:33 +0000
Product code TPH
PDA I9295XXUDOD3
CSC I9295OXXDOD1
Followed all the instructions:
Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.10.6
Extract Odin ZIP file
Open Odin v.3.10.6
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes.
The Odin is showing green "Pass", after 07' and 18'' of installation process.
But the phone simply reboots at the end and shows on the screen (on blue) RECOVERY BOOTING and nothing else happens.
Just freezes there...
I've tried to press and hold Home + Power + Volume Up buttons, and stays always on the same.
Tried several attempts to "flash the Rom", and something went very wrong, failed on Odin, etc... I know that I'm completely out of my league!
So, what can I do now to recover it? Is there a way or the phone is permanently lost?
Thank you so much for your help guys!
Rui
First question, you mentioned that you bought the phone in the US. Did you purchase the AT&T model i537, or international model i9295? Since you can't boot your phone you can check which model underneath the battery, or if you have the AT&T version there will be an AT&T logo on the back cover.
I think is the "international model".

At least it is not the AT&T version, cause there isn't any logo on it. Here is its ID data:
"MODELO": GT-I9295
FCC ID: A3LGTI9295
SSN: -I9295GSMH
S/N: R31D70S6ZBF

download mode still working? if yes try to flash 442
you flashed 501 over 422?
If I fully understand what you are meaning, I think I can say I've flashed 501 over 501 already.
The phone was already with Lollipop. It upgraded it via OTA as I'm saying initially. As the phone stooped to work, I've downloaded the Android 501 - Firmware version: I9295XXUDOD3_I9295OXXDOD1_I9295XXUDOD3_HOME.tar.md 5 and the situation now is as the one previously described.
you did't answer, Vol.down+power for download mode is working? try to flash custom recovery .
Yes, it's still working.

Thank you for your help.
Every time you flash a stock rom through Odin, your phone will return to stock recovery too.
Yes I think you'll need pit files.

Went to the website you told me: http://androidbiits.com/update-samsung-galaxy-s4-active-gt-i9295-to-android-4-4-2-kitkat-xxucne5/
The link is not working there: sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=30085
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/30085/I9295XXUCNE5_I9295PHNCNE1_PHN.zip
The web page shows "404 Not Found".
But, should be in a Zip like this one with the necessary files to a complete process:
At least on the page instructions of androidbiits.com it's mentioned about several files to choose with Odin:
a ".tar.md5" file plus a "modem" file plus a "csc" file + a ".pit" file.
Any suggestion to find an alternative?
Again, stuck...

Firstly, I would recommend to use Odin 3.7 or 3.9. You can get the firmware from sammobile.com/firmware, put the device name and select the one for your region.
I would recommend a clean install with factory reset.
He can't make factory reset. Phone is stuck in recovery starting.
I have a T-Mobile Galaxy S6 that has been running stock since I got it. Never rooted, never tripped KNOX, never installed custom ROM/recovery. A couple nights ago I got the OTA update for Samsung Pay, and my phone now will only stay on the initial screen that says "Samsung Galaxy S6 Powered by Android" in white letters. I am able to go into download mode using Pwr+Vol Down+Home button. Got it hooked up to my PC and flashed the latest G920TUVU3DOI1 firmware using Odin3. It seemed to flash successfully, but there was no change in the status of my phone.
I cannot enter recovery mode at all. Pwr+Vol Up+Home button does nothing whatsoever. I tried flashing an earlier firmware using Odin3 but the phone wouldn't let me. I tried flashing G920TUVU3DOI1 again with no success.
Any ideas?

Hey guys,
I need a little help for all your expertise please!
I have a AT&T S6 (SM-G920A) on the AT&T network. I bought the phone with 5.0.2 on it and really wanted to get Samsung Pay. I follow the instructions on the forums to use ODIN 3.10.7 to get to 5.1.1 (Baseband G20AUCU3BOI2).
Flashed all BL, AP, CP and CSC files. The phone flashed successfully but when it booted up, it stayed stuck on the Samsung screen and never went beyond that. I reflashed the AP file and got the phone to boot fine after that. When the OS loaded up, I didn't have AT&T network APN for LTE/mobile data. I found that quite strange since I know it's tied to the CSC file. So I tried to flash the phone again with just AP and CSC, which succeeds but then boots to the AT&T logo and hangs. So back to flashing the AP file and it books up fine again.
Once I get signed into my Samsung and Google account on the phone I click on the Samsung Pay logo in the App drawer. It takes a few minutes "Loading" then the Samsung Pay Install Screen shows. The phone spins for a minute then Samsung Pay closes and the error "Unforunately, Samsung Pay Stub has stopped."
Anyone have any ideas on what this could be? I've tried Odin 3.10.6 and 3.10.7, I've tried downloading G20AUCU3BOI2 from different sources as well.
Thanks for any help!

Sounds like you performed the correct flashing steps on Odin but forgot to perform a factory reset after flashing the BL, AP, CP and CSC files. All the Odin guides I've read recommend to perform one. Reflash the 5.1.1 Odin files. Once it boots, turn off the phone. The hold Power+Vol Up+Home Key to enter bootloader. Then choose factory reset. This is how I performed it.

Hello,
I have a Verizon S6 Edge, that I need help with. My phone was working fine and yesterday, all of a sudden it turned on, and is now stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Powered by android" screen. It does not go past that. I can't even turn the phone off. I just have to wait for it to die. The phone has never been rooted and I've always just done OTA updates on it. I went to a local Best Buy to get it reflashed with the latest firmware but that still hasn't fixed it. I cannot access the recovery menu, only the download mode. I can also access maintenance mode which gives the option for Normal Boot, factory reset, safe mode, and USB Debugging. I have tried all those options but nothing different happens. I have downloaded the latest firmware from XDA and tried to flash it with ODIN and nothing happened there either. Any help is appreciated, I just don't want to throw my phone away. (I bought it last August)
Thanks!
I have the same problem, but i live in Mx and i can't find the stock rom anywhere. I hope someone can help us.
Hey, sorry to hear you're having issues.
Have you tried contacting Verizon or Samsung support yet?

I have downloaded the latest firmware from XDA and tried to flash it with ODIN and nothing happened there either. Any help is appreciated, I just don't want to throw my phone away. (I bought it last August)
Thanks!

did you by chance use a pit file for odin as well as a full tar?
you could have messed up the partitions..
try to repartition it using odin or you can always try samsung smart switch emergency repair option etc.

I didn't use any PIT files or anything. I just downloaded the stock OK7 firmware and put that in AP on odin, plugged my phone in under download mode and the update seems to go through fine but it still just boot loops. Doesn't go past the Galaxy S6 Edge screen. However, when I did that, there is now a padlock on my screen when it boots up and it also says custom under it and system status also says custom.

something is not right then.. check the download md5 and what odin version you running?
custom padlock should go away after fresh install of a full odin tar which should be ~1.9gb zip before extracting it
Sent from my SM-G925V using XDA-Developers mobile app

I downloaded the stock one and installed it. Ithe was 1.86 GB. I put the md5 in the AP and that's it. Ithe downloads fine and installs fine on the phone but it just won't go past the boot screen and still has the custom padlock
