How do I install?
You have to sure that it is for ONLY FOR MI 5S(Capricorn) and you have to install one of these recovery:CWM/TWRP/Philz/etc...
Install from OTHER ROM
* Boot in to Recovery mode
* Backup if needed.
* Wipe system/data/Cache (Factory reset is also welcome!)
* Choose ROM which I attached.
* Install with Gapps
* Boot, finish!
Install from THIS ROM(Version update)
* Boot in to Recovery mode
* Backup if needed.
* Wipe Dalvik-cache, Cache(U can do Factory reset if you want)
* Flash ROM & Gapps
* Boot, Finish!

This ROM is based to Mi 5s PLUS LineageOS?
Ultrasonic fingerprint is working?
Cameras works good?
Dual boot works well?
In other words: it's stable?
Hope that Xiaomi releases soon the kernel sources... And then we will see a good porting of some Google Pixel packets for camera and SoC

I don't know why, but OMS doesn't work. Substratum show only RRO2.
Upd.: all works, just update Substratum and OMS works now.

Couldn't wait and installed it. First time after boot, Touchscreen did not respond, so i couldn't unlock sim card. after restart it worked. I have a jdi panel

I'm particularly concern about the touch bug, it happens once in a while, but seem the Dev that build Mi 5s plus Natrium ROM got it fixed... Maybe our Dev can help us too... I really appreciate the great work

I'm going to try this ROM, reporting if I have issues.
I'll post a feedback soon.

Running this ROM for the whole day, and no problems so far! Really good ROM, thank you guys! 2G/3G working great, tethering works, no touch bug here and everything really smooth.

Touch works good, but cpu is stuck at 307mhz, doesn't switch to deep sleep...

NOTES - MUST READ
1. All credits goes to @Grarak for making the sources. The kernel, device and vendor sources are using Grarak's sources as base + the changes i've did. Also I've been able to build by using Google Cloud platform since my PC is crap... It took me 1h 30m to build with Google Cloud platform, while with my PC was still building after 7h of building and then got an error regarding my PC (was too slow or out of memory).
2. You dont have to flash root because it is included.
3. Don't use encryption. I don't know why, but Grarak mentioned this on his twitter at the last build for CAN-L01.
4. ROOT is included. Enable it from Settings > Developer Options > Root access.
5. The DPI is set smaller by default. However, you can change that in Settings > Display.
6. SlimRom team has abandoned the development of MM version, so there wont be any other release unless there are fixes / improvements to the sources.

Installation
Make sure you meet the requirements listed above.
1. Download the ROM and put it on sdcard. If you want GAPPS too, then download Open Gapps too (choose arm64, 6.0 and pico).
2. Reboot in TWRP by pressing all 3 buttons (Volume UP + Volume Down + Power).
3. Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik-cache.
4. Flash the ROM from the directory where you've placed it.
5. Flash GAPPS (OPTIONALLY).
6. Reboot.

Bugs
- offline charging / offline charging animation : it seems to show ??/100. Probably i'm missing something. It will be fixed in next build. Offline charging means when phone is charging, but it is turned off.
Same as LOS:
- FM-Radio (at this moment the app isn't even included)
- signal icon becomes empty / gray when you are using 3G, but the network is working
- camera recording / video playback issues (sometimes, when you play the recorded video it gets stuck / frozen)
- camera doesn't work for some people, while for me and others works
If you've found a bug, please report it along with a logcat.

I've made following changes to Slim6:
- added microG support
- fixed drag-n-drop for SlimLauncher (paged drawer style). @YAJATapps from github is the one who shared the fix. This bug was left by the team of Slim ROM since the development of Slim6 has stopped.

I don't think that i will do other changes (such Substratum or something else) because this rom is meant to be slim, you know..
The following changes were done few days ago and will be available in next build of LOS too, but i won't make a new LOS build just for those changes:
- allow emergency numbers in call log
- enabled extended font support
- enabled TARGET_BOOTANIMATION_HALF_RES to speed up boot: more details here
- init.qcom.usb.rc: removed HiSuite
- unlocked 2160p for YouTube: found this here and the XDA article is here. Test it with this video. If you can't see 2160p resolution, then try to clear data and cache at Youtube app and then reboot. Note that i didn't notice any difference at all, but the XDA article says that there are improvements. If you encounter problems with that resolution (such lags or something), then just don't use it.

Followed all instructions and went great
Only thing was,like all other roms,i have while phone on,remove then re-put the SIM card cuz it was not detected...but works perfectly after

Be careful
the made of past on our own kernel build, backup your /vendor and kernel partiton BEFORE installed the ROMs.
The lineageos security patch is newer than Emui's. So the cmd "os_patch_level" is not the same as that of Huawei. I modified the build.prop to avoid all bootloop. Checked well before installing the rom that you have at least the version "ro.build.version.security_patch = 2018-06-01". If you have a version before this date, made the update emitted before or let me know, I prepared a script to fix it
The easiest way to know which version you have is to have ADB drivers to install: open a terminal command and type

Or with any root explorer ,go to /vendor/build.prop and open it. Search this.

@micky387 I would gladly download and provide a thorough feedback report for this ROM, but I'm waiting for a build with working fingerprint nav, as that is the one feature I absolutely must have. Will be keeping an eye on this thread though!
Also, your "other issues" github link is giving a 404 error. Not sure if that's because github is down, or the link is genuinely broken.

I had A nexus 5 and HTC M8. I really loved flashing ROMs but stop all that crazy stuff when I picked up this mate 9. I saw this thread and I have to admit I am feeling the itch. You said it your daily ......hmm, and the known bugs are not to bad at all.
Any advice or suggestions to an out of practice and not that smart flasher if ROMs?
How do you like lineage on the mate 9?

Camera Instructions
As you can see that OOS camera is not working fine, but this came at the cost of gcam getting derped. However i know many users preffered gcam. That too is possible. To do that follow this steps
Download Titanium Backup/Swift Backup/Any backup which can freeze System apps
Open the app and grant super user access
Search for the app Omni CameraPackage
Disable/Freeze it. Do NOT uninstall it if you change your mind to come back to oos camera
Reboot
Voila
To go back to OOS Camera, do the following
Download Titanium Backup/Swift Backup/Any backup which can freeze System apps
Open the app and grant super user access
Search for the app Omni CameraPackage
Enable/Unfreeze it
Reboot

its a wonderful rom loved everything has no major issues but some minor such notch icons(but thats in almost every pie rom)
i hav one bug that i would like to report....the Ambient Display is causing the double tap to wake to not work

It probably will not work. But you shouldn't be asking here, because it is clearly thread for OP6 and if it would work I think dev would mentioned that.
Lets keep forums tidy and in order.. that will help for everyone to communicate and reach information easier.

Since this is the only post about this rom, I can only ask here. Where else would you ask ???
And since the op6 and op6t is so close hardware wise, there might be cross compatibility.

To be honest i don't know. I tend to normally test myself and i have only the 6. IFF you are brave enough to test it in the 6T tell us but i can't guarantee anything!! Which is the reason why i wrote the 6 only.

Hey bro its great to test bootleggers on my OP6 and unfortunately & accidentally messed my phone with trying this more hz display which doesn't work on android 10 i haven't glanced that forum clearly(my bad:crying so please provide me necessary code to start my device.

Its correctly stopped at Warning page of boot loader unlock & please try to add face unlock, oos camera app and proper higher refresh rate module to your code which would definitely welcomed by all OP6 bootleggers users:good:

Try using the Magisk module "disable hardware overlays" and then try.

1. I am not sure why you would flash some overclocking thing for the device especially when our displays are capped at 60 hZ. For adding code to add higher refresh rate, i will NEVER DO IT. You may wanna use msm tool to re install OOS directly.
2. OOS Camera support i may be looking into. The things are slightly different than that of pie, so not really sure by when i will be able to add it.
3. Face unlock is something which google took out from code when they brought the pixel 4 series into the market. It is something which is currently not possible for any custom rom running android 10.

You may try to flash the stock 60 hZ and see what goes on

Magiisk module
Unable to install magisk modules from the app. However they can be installed on twrp. The hardware overlays magisk module does not install and as a result using android auto is difficult.

I have flashed YouTube Vanced via magisk manager and it's working fine. What module are you trying to flash?
