Notification LED No Longer Working? - Xiaomi Mi MIX Questions & Answers

At first it was working fine, now it's not. Whether I turn the notification LED option on/off, it does not work when getting a missed call or sms message.
Any setting perhaps might cause it not to work? Any ideas?
Thanks to anyone who can assist.

1 - Are u on an official ROM or Custom ROM ?
2 - Did u install an app who can manage led or something like that ?
3 - Did u try a factory reset or a backup restore before issue ?

I'm on the custom Rom Epic Pro Stable 7.0. I did not try doing any factory reset or backup as the notification LED bug is the only bug experienced.
Even though the option is turned on and I've even assigned different notification colours, nothing works.
I have no such app for managing the led, only using the default one...

[Q] Ringing Sound Problem on Nexus One

Hi..
i have a problem with my phone
Rom: CM7.1 Stable
after customizing the simple things in Cyanogen Setting and ADW Launcher ...
when i put my phone into >> Sound+Vib or Sound
and when i have an incoming call there is no sound and vib . and only screen turns on and LED is flashing ... but no Sound and No Vibration ?!
anyone had this problem ?!
any Solution ?!
any Wrong setting i have made !?
is there any setting that may make this Conflict ?!
I would try doing a full wipe and restoring data it's probably just a bug somewhere in your data messing with something. If you want a possible solution that is less long (because you don't need to restore your data) is to wipe the system partition and reflash the same ROM as before (because or else you will most likely get a boot loop).

[Q] Why internet is not working

Hi,
I have CM9 nightly installed on my SGS and it works nicely but it drains battery and internet does not work.
It worked good about 3-4 weeks but suddenly the signal strength bar (or whatever it's called) went to grey (it's normally blue) and if i try to use something what uses internet, it doesn't load anything.
Do you have the latest CM9 version?
Grey signal means you have a weak signal or does not have signal at all. Can you still send and receive SMS?
Yes i can make calls and receive sms. Signal bar is almost full. It would be almost black if have no signal.
But now it's light grey.
Did you try testing it with other phone? Just to prove that it is not your network provider's problem.

Not unless things start to force close. If they do that then you need to factory reset.
Also check your efs folder. It is possible that the data there has been scrubbed. If that's the case Odin a stock firmware with wipe efs ticked.
After that you can return to CM9.

Capacitative button LED not working.. help.

Hi all,
Previously I remember disabling Capacitative button led in Kernel Aduitor, (I forgot which build, I was using one of SHADE's unofficial CM13 build).
Now after updating, however it seems like the option is no longer in Kernal Aduitor. The Button option under settings does not work and my LED remains off no matter how I set the brightness/timeout for Buttons LED.
Can anyone tell me how to ge tmy button led to work again? (I also tried flashing to stock miui8 but it did not work either). Perhaps can someone also point out a build that is available to download that might still have this setting in Kernel Aduitor so I can try to re-enable it. Thank you.
I think if you wipe everything and flash the latest MIUI rom through fastboot, it should resolve any problems you are facing because of earlier change in kernel settings.

Hi ishangoyal, I've tried everything, doesn't work
Does anyone have any idea on which rom/kernel that enables Kernel Aduitor to edit capicitative led settings? I just can't seem to find it anymore and am wondering is my capacitative leds are really dead.
@Harrynowl Hi Harry I notice you are programming a new kernel, can I request to add capacitative leds settings so that kernel aduiter can adjust it? Thanks for you help.

Nugart and root lose sound notifications

Using the root file of DrKetan, my 920CD after about one hour lose sound notification, no sound for calls, for SMS, for whatsupp . no sound for clock's , only buzzer. Even others I know have the same problem.
The same iussue using magisk for root
Hi
No root here, but still loosing notifications daily, even tried running in safe mode, but notifications still stop working on a regular basis, a quick scan of other forums shows this as a very common problem since updating to nougat.7.0
I received an update of approx 75mb the other day, but this has not helped at all
Anyone with any ideas as to the cause this would be much appreciated

1)Happened with me also once like when someone is calling you or some notifications are received there is no notification sound But only the vibrations alerts if selected
2)So the best way is to Backup every imp data on internal storage to PC> Wipe everything including Internal Storage first> Flash latest Stock 6.0.1 or 7.0 according to availability and support for your device> Flash TWRP again> Flash any custom rom again> Problem solved
NOTE:-
Don't forget to enable Oem Unlocking and Usb Debugging Options From Developers Options before flashing anything using Odin
Already done many times and with all the Rom of nougat. The problem reappears unavoidably.
Incredible I tried all the Rom , originally ad custom fom Khongloi to all the others. all flashed after more than one wipe from recovery but in all mode i lost notification sound. Now I'm still in Android 6.01
I tried to make 92 clean installation of every type of ROM on the 920CD. In all, there is the bug of the loss of sound notifications. I read on a forum that many have this bug on nougat, someone has solved by eliminating spen insertion sound notification in the phone, in my case no this does not work. I think I have to give up having a phone that does not ring when they call and when they arrive at the clocks or notifications
As soon as you lose the sound notifications, I noticed that even the program that allows you to change ringtone and notification, selecting a different notification or ringing does not listen to the sound of the new notification selected. Only the restart of the cellphone also restores the sound here.
Hello i am have to the prblem
But i thing i have the answer*
Who have the problem of lost sound*
You have to do!
1. Wipe full*
2. Wipe data of all phone
3. Set-up the original rom
4. Than you may do root and set rom custom*
Lost soud it's because of lot file than we not delete if we set rom on rom but not do wipe data to all phone
I hope this helps
No this not works for me

OnePlus 3t Bluetooth not turning on

Hi guys I really need some help. It's been quite a few days now since my Bluetooth isn't turning on. I've tried clearing cache n data for Bluetooth apps and services in application manager but still no luck. This is what happens when I try to turn on Bluetooth... (Check screenshot)
The switch just fades and Bluetooth doesn't really turn on at all. And after a while the switch turns off by itself. Please help.
I also tried flashing another kernel (from stock) but still no luck. I'm on OOS 4.1.7 with Blu spark r174.
It had stopped working since I was on stock OOS (non rooted) and then I rooted and installed Blu spark but still no luck.
I have tried clearing app cache and data of Bluetooth share app, reset network settings even tried factory reset, still no luck. OOS 4.1.7.
Someone please help.

If it isn't working after factory reset, most probably it is a hardware problem..
Another issue that I've heard off is related to the encryption of the storage, but i don't think this is the case now

But then the system acts weird about Bluetooth. When I try to turn it on (notice I do get an option to turn it on), the switch flips on the other side (switching ON) but fades n does nothing. And if I move out of settings and come back to Bluetooth section, it goes back to off. I kind of have a feeling it's a software problem n just needs some system modifications. But I really don't know, really need some expert opinions, please help guys.
Full wipe and try to downgrade to earlier OOS version..
( 4.1.5 ) or try another custom kernel ..EX or Dorimanx....

This happened to my dad on another phone and after a while the wifi died as well. It's a hardware issue.
I had the same issue 2 months ago. tried to switch back to stock and everything, it did not work. So I sent mine back to Oneplus, it was a hardware problem and the motherboard had to be changed. It sounds like you are unlucky as I was.
Just dirty flash your Rom and check if it works.

When folks say "factory reset" they most usually means just using the option "factory reset" in stock/custom recovery, or in phone Settings. All those do, is wipe user data. SO the problem will only be solved if some problem/incompatibility with user data was the culprit (does not actually "restore" any software/firmware).
I would suggest flashing the full 4.1.7 (or even early version) zip to restore to full stock, which I think is more what you meant.
This has happened to me before after updating magisk and not re-flashing a kernel. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth weren't toggleable (if that's a word) and the phones battery was draining pretty aggressively. I'd follow the advice from others and do a reset, or flash a custom kernel over what you have.
