I really can't comprehend why members think it's remotely okay to post smartass remarks like this? This isn't the first time I've seen useless posts like these.
Anyway, the cheapest I've seen are $25 USD on Amazon and they include a cable as well.

not useless, just higher than you can comprehend.
there are many chargers out there, not many 4a. just use regular 2a... can't compare the cost and the trouble getting one!
Don't get a replacement or cheap cable. Go for original OnePlus cable.

Consider oppo's charger, it is also 4A, but you're gonna have to find the cable if you don't have it

Haha found it finally been resorting to using standard 2amp chargers still pretty quick at two hours
You can try oppo r7's charger (ak755), its “vooc charge” supports the dash charge as well.
But don't choose model ak775/ak779, though the oneplus3 shows dash charging while using these two, they charge slower than ak755...
The Cheapest way like i did
OPPO AK779 Charger (Support Dash) (15$) + Orignal Cable (5$) from Aliexpress. = 20$

Has anyone found a wall charger that they're happy with? I have an Amazon basics 2.1 Amp one that charges OK and shows up as an A/C charger in the battery stats, but it's not as fast as the stock one (which already is slow).
I'd post a link to what I have, but the forum still sees me as a newbie even though I've been lurking around for a few years now.

If you don't really care about super fast charging time almost all usb wall chargers are the same because of the limitations of a usb cable. Just color, shape, and size might vary
I'm using the my hp Touchpad charger. It seems like it charges faster than the original charger. I'll have to test and see though.

I bought a pogo charger so it won't take up the micro usb slot and also safer charging with pets (or kids). If I'm lucky it will charge faster too.
the pogo charger uses the original samsung ac adapter though.. it doesn't come with one
I just use any random charger I have (I think I use an old Kindle one right now) and leave it charge while I sleep. I have no complaints and have a POGO on order.
I ordered the Powergen chargers for both the wall and my car. They supply 3.1 amps so whatever the max is that the N10 will take, it will get it.
Search for "powergen 3.1" on Amazon and you'll find both.

Nice tip - thanks. That and the POGO has to be about as fast as it gets PLUS with the second USB port I will be able to charge my phone and tablet at the same time, same charger.

Thanks everyone for your input. I ended up ordering the Powergen 3.1 charger suggested above. I'll report back on what my experience is. I did note that one of the reviews of that item at Amazon says it charges the Nexus 10 well, so my hopes are high.
Next question - anyone know what happens if you plug in the POGO charger and a USB charger at the same time?
Your charger isnt going to make a great deal of difference in charge time. An updated and/or custom kernel will help a LOT more with that.
The AC wall unit isn't a charger, it's the power supply for the charger inside the N10.
Me and another N10 owner measured how much current the N10 draws from the PS and it was less than 1A, so the device isn't even asking anywhere near the max that the PS can supply. Unless there is someother reason and there very well could be, a larger PS "might" be a waste of time/money.
I think the N10 charger uses a special usb protocol which allows it to charger faster than most

I'm intrigued; how is that? More importantly, does such a kernel currently exist? I started this thread in search of a second charger that just worked as well as the original one. I'd be happier if could find something that did better than the OEM.

What I can tell you is that both powergen units charge the N10 fine.
What I can't tell you is whether they charge the N10 any faster than the stock wall unit. I haven't done any testing.
I'm expecting my pogo cable any day, maybe I'll do some testing then.
There are so many differing theories here, who knows?

I have seen some dual USB port PS that are rated "total" for both "not" each port. How is this PowerGen 3.1?
Just check and it's listed as "shared", so that's 3.1A total.
The description clearly states that each port can supply up to 3.1A. If both are used at once, the 3.1A is shared.
My dog ate my charger and I'm looking to buy this one till I order a new one. Anybody have any thoughts on it?

Seems like it would work but there are two things i would like to point out. First this is not a quick charge 2.0 charger so fast charge will not work with it, it will charge at normal rate. Also for myself i try to get wall chargers with removable cables just in case my pet eats thru it I can replace them easily and trust me i have gone through 4 cables in the last 4 months. That said i have had good experiences with ones bought from Ebay as well since the prices are far too tempting.

Usually not at all. What people claim as "rapid charge" is just a small increase in amperage (usually 2+ amps). By reference, USB 2.0 spec is 500mA.
Quickcharge 2.0 increases both the voltage and the amperage it can supply (is. even more wattage). The exact values are negotiated by the phone and what it draws - which is dependent on the current phase of charging.

Thanks for the heads up. Most aftermarket chargers like Belkin are garbage. You'd think that at $30+ it would be top notch, but they're actually made to be as cheap as possible by mediocre engineers so they end up being exceedingly terrible. Not only do they not measure up to spec but the output voltage is unstable and has a TON of noise. It's obviously always preferable to go with a good oem charger when possible. Unfortunately they're somewhat hard to find separately without actually buying something and if you do find one for sale they're are a lot of fakes out there so it can be risky.
By far best chargers that are easily attainable are the apple usb chargers. After comparing the apple usb chargers(both 5w and 12w) and a bunch of other usb chargers(both oem and aftermarket) I have using an oscilloscope at work, the apple chargers have the cleanest output by a wide margin. Just be sure to buy them from a major retailer. It's not worth risking getting a fake because at that point you might as well use the belkin.
Additionally, the original 2014 moto x charger and kindle 5w and 9w changers are also very good.
While I prefer the 1A/5w chargers to extend the life of the battery, you can also get the 9w-12w ones which will charge faster if that's something you need. Be sure to use a quality cable too.
edit:
This guy did something similar to what I did but actually took the time to document it. It's very informative and shows how much quality can vary between different chargers.

You can probably find the same/similar thing on ebay for under $2. But you have to keep in mind that not all usb chargers are created equal, especially these cheap aftermarket ones. While it may charge your devices, the quality of the power it delvers may or may not be good. Not to mention that it might not be made to even minimal safety standards - for both you and the device. Even though the charger you recommend may very well be fantastic, it is of unknown quality. Given that the vast majority of all aftermarket usb chargers are substandard, it can be reasonably assumed that this one isn't an anomaly.
I recommended the apple charger because it's known to be of very good quality and it's easy to find.
Check out this site:
http://www.righto.com/2014/05/a-look-inside-ipad-chargers-pricey.html
The author compares a genuine ipad charger with a fake one. Assuming that the majority of aftermarket chargers are built to the same standard(or worse) as the fake, it amazes me that anyone would even consider using one let alone pay for it. What is the logic in saving a couple bucks and potentially risking several hundred? I would rather spend $20 once and have piece of mind in knowing that I have the best.
you are right, but i've just gave you a link to the pretty cheap charger that works well with G2 and as i've said - it charges my tablet as well...

However, you can find aftermarket Dash cables on eBay and Amazon for like $6.

That's the official car charger by OnePlus correct?
I'm wondering if this APLUS one is a safe bet. The Fakespot on their Dash cable on Amazon has a C rating.
For the OP, is this APLUS one legit... or would I be better off looking into the VOOC chargers that I know are the exact same technology?

No, the silver car charger in the adapter is QC3.0 from ZMI brand, along with QC2DASH convertor and charging meter when I first have it tested.
So just in case anyone is interested, here is ampere on the OEM wall charger that came with my phone (1st picture 3300 mA) as well as the Aplus dash car charger (2nd pic 3440). Interestingly the Aplus charger seems to charge ever so slightly faster, with a little more voltage and mA. I haven't noticed any issues with heat or anything else so far. I'm pretty happy with it, especially for the price.

I'm using 'hoco.' brand of charger that has Volt/Ampere indicator to monitor how well it will charge (not by software, but from charger itself), maximum output 2.1 Amperes, as I prefer that way. Anker is really cost prohibitive here in my perspective as a broke man ($20 onwards and probably does the same as other 2 amperes chargers for our devives).
