Hi,
I started to use the LineageOS on my Xperia few days ago and I really like it. The bundled camera application is also great, but my question is, is there maybe even batter camera application that someone tried already maybe, which :
- has some chroma (colour) noise filtering
- has better LED light handling (the Xperias LED can shine quite bright during focusing, then I have an impression that during the photo it does not shine as bright)
Any ideas, anyone ?

Issues:
- colours are washed out
- flash is either too dark or way too bright
I tested this phone with a 5MP Sony Xperia Sola with as similar settings as I could and every time either the flash was dim or overly bright and every time the colours were washed out. The other phone has a lower screen resolution and the camera has fewer megapixels (I know there's much more than that to the quality but as an idea).
Has anyone else tested the phone beside an old phone / a friend's phone?
To be honest, the camera wasn't a top priority, but I was pretty shocked at the quality - so I had to ask! I've tried every setting on the camera.
Dear fellow forum users/Z1 owners,
I'm a new user of a Sony Xperia Z1. I've been using my phone for about a week now to take photos, and I've noticed that there is a problem with the camera display. When I move my phone to take a photo of another subject, the display actually lags behind and sometimes freezes for a second before finally catching up with my movements. Do any of you face similar issues?
Another question I'd like to ask, would be the vibration/movement of the lens as it refocuses, especially on macro shots. It makes this small "tick" sound and vibrates while attempting to focus, something which I've not experienced on other cameras. Is this natural or is it a hardware issue that I should get Sony to check?
Thanks for taking your time to read this post, and I look forward to hearing your responses.
Cheers,
Sonynoob
I must say - never heard for that problems.
I don't have that issues, my camera is working great, no vibrations, no lag - full HD recording or shooting picts - all works great.

Just tested the camera in a quiet environment and I must say, it seems to produce the 'tick' sound before every shot...it only gets worse in macro situations.
Same goes for me. I think it is a normal thing while camera struggles to focus.

Had this lag too the other night trying to shoot outdoor. I don't know if it was because too much stuff running in background or if it's the camera, only happened once.
Has anyone noticed that the video is extremely dark on the X4 camera even in a moderately well lit room? Anyone found any fixes or workarounds for this? I've tried several different GCam versions and stock camera on Lineage, nothing made it better. It's really the only thing I don't like about this phone.
Thanks
The Realme 6 pro does not have a dedicated notification light but maybe we can use the light that flashes when we switch from the back camera to the front camera from the camera app. Any way this can be achieved ?
Yes.. but it would be pointless due to the fact that it is a LCD screen which will cause the whole screen to light up everytime you receive a notification and thus draining your battery a lot faster.. same reason this phone doesn't have an Ambient display..
I agree. But atleast those who want to use they feature they could.
Man, this IS an idea!
You know i never noticed that nice ring of light around selfie cam?
I fastly tried with "automate" app but I didn't find a way...
Any update on this?
Hello everybody!
I am on RKFEUXM and have just updated from 12.0.16 to V12.5.1.0. Everything OK excepting for the camera which in Slow Motion has an intense and annoying flickering. Anyone else faces this?
I have discovered that this flickering appears because of the (low quality) LED bulb which lighted the room where I firstly checked the camera.
So, no problem whatsoever with the camera itself!
