So today after waiting for over a month, Huawei Support replied to my e-mail regarding Nougat sources for our P9 Lite devices.

When you look into their open source release center, you can see that they started distributing sources for some of their updated phones (search for "android 7"), there aren't any for hi6250 devices yet, but hopefully they're soon to follow.
This is exciting, I don't think I have to explain why, hold your fingers.
They will probably took very long toh :/
I contacted support again and told them that sources for our device are outdated and they sent me this.

Also some more sources for EMUI5 showed up today, so I think it's likely that we'll get new kernel.

On holiday in turkey and just got ota update to L31C432B370. Now on 380. Not rooted or unlocked. All went fine and no data loss. Running well after one hour. As it should be. Normally in Ireland.

Maybe Meticulus can do something with it if they release it. He's still working on LOS. He just don't relase the builds in here. But everyone can build it from he's sources. And maybe we can have a few modified emui kernel but I don't really care with that actually.

You absolutely no need to join group. But one of OpenKirin dev is in the group. The group isn't for discussing p9lite forums but to discuss rom development BEFORE its get even posted to p9lite xda forum (at least some of it). Not just rom too, but the latest twrp recovery by olddroid was uploaded there before here. Best part is live assistance if any error unlike here you hope someone sees your post and cared enough to reply. yeah, the group isn't just for "I dont need a special group to check zero threads about rom developing on p9 lite forums"
I wrote (30 Mai) to Huawei also...
But they didn't reply.
In Readme.txt they wrote:

I have looked in various forums the development for the L90, the best we really have is the XDA, I would have posted in development, more like my account is new, could not, have the zip up to where it was modified by me, more people now need help to understand more than I, so I tried the XDA. If someone is willing to help in port, I will be very happy because it is a great rom and really wanted to work in our l90.

I'm not a developer. And afair there was one change in kernel / ramdisk to get miui work (at least on my previous phone). Don't know if it fixes any abovementioned issues though...

As the title says, WIP. Booted. But there is still so many bugs.
What's Working:
- Mobile Data
- SIM Card
- Vibration
- Touch Screen
Except these, almost nothing working. I will start to work about this project after June 17.

Yes, calls are working as you can see from screenshots. But because of audio problem, you can't speak or hear anything.

I think all of you have seen this amount of custom roms realsed for p8lite , it's really a huge effort of Open Kirin Team
But , it wont work with our 4x because of diffrent wifi card ( boot.img ) on general , other missing fixes too
I wish this thread will help us to make any of it works with 4x , sharing informations , questions and news will be good

The team is doing collosal efforts right now. Kindly wait and I'm sure Kirin 620 users will get what they want.
I believe now it is overwhelming for OpenKirin team with too many tasks to tackle. Time can fix most issues. Just wait for it.

It's very smooth but the fingerprint and face scanner functionality was enough to make me go back to the emui 9 ROM. Phone also seemed to run very hot. I will try again once new versions are released as I do love the ROM.

I have the exactly same feeling, Im jumping again into RR Rom when these issues get fixed , because I didn't find any other major problem , super fast , super smooth !

From what i heard (havent tested it yet) the fingerprint scanner works, but the indicator isnt there
