Hi
I saw the first protector on amazon for 8-9 dollars,
https://www.amazon.com/TANTEK-Bubble-Free-Anti-Scratch-Anti-Glare-Anti-Fingerprint/dp/B01DW2XLGM/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1497034070&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=lg+g4+glass+protector&psc=1
this one is on ebay for a half price
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Premium-Real-Tempered-Glass-Screen-Protector-For-LG-G4-Accessory-/371899306380?hash=item5696ed118c:g:zSEAAOSwsW9Y0b6z
both have good reviews online. But I always wanted does ebay sell lower quality assessors because they almost always offer cheaper versions.
Is it worth buying first one from amazon for twice the price?
Thank you for your help guys : )
Best protector I had was nuglas it was like £4 and had olephobic coating
Biggest thing with any protector is make sure it does not cover the proximity sensor, none that i have seen have the curvature to the glass, So when installed they are technically flexed a little bit so this puts a hair more stress on em.
After trying/buy so many some good, some OK , some bad, I've settled on Nillkin. They cost more but the finished is second to none. Smudge resistant and your finger slides over the glass so so nice.
I ordered a Nuglas version as recommended in this thread. Very cheap and to my surprise it's very good , very happy with it ! The one that was on it when I bought the phone secondhand got smudgy very quick but the Nuglas does't have that problem at all so very satisfied with it. Cost me a fiver with delivery so can't get much better than that.

I want to order a screen protector and I was thinking about a leather slip case. Anyone have any experience with their cases?
What I read and heard
From what I have read and heard is that the MartinField screenprotectors are one of the best out there. No hands on experience though.
I have used these on all my recent phones, they are very good but expensive £15 delivered
did u guys also removed the default screen protector ? i felt it was reducing the touch response of the screen..and very thick also.

well, the stock protector lasted me one day of use... putting the x1 on my pocket a few times peeled the sony protector so it's useless...
anyways, martin one should be here tomorrow (so says the track id)
Hi,
The "stock" screen protector lasted me a week. But you do need to cut/trim the tab off so that pocketing the phone and other general usage doesn't peel the protector off.
Have now fitted a Martin Field one.
Be warned though the sticky side of those protectors attract dust/lint/etc like a magnet!!! Also, that lint free cloth you think is lint free, isn't!!!
Have fitted 3 of these over the years and have never failed to get some lint etc between the screen and protector...
But they do do the job and protect your screen. Better £15 for one than £!!!! for a new LCD...
Des. . .
I've got a Martin Fields screen protector and I love it.
<rant>
I wasted £5 on a protector from eximstyle on ebay first.
It was too long by a couple of mm and just too wide so that it would press down on the screen when it was squeezed in; the quality wasn't great either, it didn't slide like the MF did. (They sent a replacement which was exactly the same )
Sometimes you really do get what you pay for! Got to love Paypal, it went a claim and they judged that if I sent it back with tracking I could have a refund (the postage would cost more than the refund).
I know where I'll be getting my screen protectors from in future, and it's not from jokers on ebay!

Sony Ericsson Xperia leather case
Leather cases on MartinFields are the same I bought from PDA Hut.
http://www.pdahut.com/store/home.php?cat=2387
Just fitted one, perfect fit. Got a damn tiny piece of lint between it and the screen !! No biggies.
So far, so good
The stylus slides real smoothly
Hi. I got my nexus 7 32GB fo Xmas and i am really happy with it. But i need a case and screen protector, especially the case. It must be slim, and with stand/sleep function. Dont need anything more. So the best case would be similar to ipad smart cover for me. It must be an good quality product. And not so expensive
I need a screen protector too, as i scrached my galaxy nexus so badly, at i dont trust "scratch resistant glass" anymore. So i dont want to do the same thing to my tablet. Screen protector must be an good quality product.
Well, i can only buy from ebay. As in Denmark i can't see some screen protectors or cases for my nexus.
Price - max 35$.
I could choose case my self, but i dont know if they are good quality. Same for screen protector.
So i ask in this forum, at maybe you bought some of these cases, and how is quality of them.
So please, help me choose.
Thank you!
If you want a case similar to the smart cover, go buy an iPad mini and a smart cover. Problem solved
If I helped out, hit the thanks button.
There are plenty of types of case for the nexus 7 out there. I found that the main 2 are the silicon cases that cover the back, or the PU leather ones.
Now, I bought a PU leather case from a seller in China through AliExpress.com and it was fine; seller is a bit slow at dispatching it, but it gets there fine.
I bought mine with a stylus and screen protector - stylus is top notch, screen protector isn't very good at all (ended up buying one from eBay)
The company also sells just the case, which can be found here
You can look in his store for the other product (the one I bought), or click here
Case quality is very good, no problems with it. Just make sure to firmly close the tab inside it so that it doesn't move about. Can also expect a chemical smell for a day or two.
Looking into getting a decent screen protector for my G4 when it arrives and I came across this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Protector-Spigen®-Crystal-JAPANESE-Definition/dp/B00UMDPLJK
Or would I be better with Orzly or Fosmon?
Just wondered what the general consensus was on them?

I'd recommend getting a tempered glass one - had one on my S5 since launch and still not a mark on it, doesn't attract fingerprints as much and feels much better than using a film one IMO.

So, maybe this one?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fosmon®-Pro...797996&sr=1-5&keywords=lg+g4+screen+protector
I was going to go for that one, but I think it ships from USA so you'll be waiting a while. I ended up getting the Casebase one based on other people's feedback (not used it yet as waiting patiently by my front door for the courier to knock!) - it's a bit more expensive but you get two in the pack. Mine arrived within a couple of days.
Bought this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Orzly®-Prot...797996&sr=1-4&keywords=lg+g4+screen+protector
Hopefully that one will be ok, keep in mind though all the reviews relate to the G3 version.
The Spigen one for the G2 and G3 wasn't all that great, but I believe it came with an extra or two, so that you can change it whenever. It did scratch easily for me, however.
I had some for a Nexus 5 I never bought (got the G2 instead). They felt the same as the iCarez ones I got for my G2, which were really good for film protectors. They had scratches on them in like 3 months, but the Spigen pack has like 3 in the package, so you should be set for around a year if you are tolerant enough.

They're really good. I do field engineering work and we sometimes have steel shavings on our hands my Nexus 5 had a screen protector and it looked mangled up but when I replaced it with a new one the screen look the Immaculate when I remove the old spigen screen protector.
I've got one from Skinomi TechSkin . Smooth, clear and durable. No complaint so far.
I always loved the speigen protectors. They are thicker. The matte ones are my go to on tablets. Prevents fingerprints and helps keep the screen from getting sticky during a gaming session.
just a question.
i've never used tempered glass screen protectors. my fear is that their added thickness would somehow feel sharp and uncomfortable in the edges, swiping laterally and holding in hand.
is this right? 0.24mm is not that much, but it is surely something.

The majority of tempered glass screen protectors have a curve along the edges so no need to worry about the uncomfortable feel
I've got KlearCut screen protectors for the LG G4.
too expensive. i found sth on ebay
the same as it show in SPG,much cheaper ,the same as SPG
Spigen screen protectors are great. Recommend!
Spigen one is good. But it is expensive. There are so many tempered screen film on the market. You can find one with good quality at a best price. Just personally suggestion.
Yeah,Spigen is expensive. I have tried this brand and it works great .
IQ Shield Liquid Skin screen protectors can compete with expensive brands.. It's wet install type of film guaranteed to provide long lasting results. Got one for my S6 and it holds up pretty well to coins and keys..relatively cost effective..
It is look nice, but it is expensive. Maybe you can find one with good quality at a best price.
I've finally found a good screen protector on Amazon - its not the Tate Tempered glass one, but the film. It actually works quite well and fits the curve.

Thanks for the info!
I have a 9 Pro and have been looking for a good non-glass protector recently but could not find many that looked good quality or covered the full screen including the curve... If the one I purchased is no good, I will try and purchase one of these and get it shipped to AU somehow. I had a glass tempered screen protector from where I purchased it, but the curved parts started to peal up almost the same day - I went back and asked for a refund as the protector was not fit for use, unfortunately they did not have any standard film protectors as the device had only just come out not too long ago.
I had to order the Disagu FullFlex screen protector off eBay since we don't have Amazon in AU (and they wont ship without using freight forwarders).
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/142266664080?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
I contacted this company before purchasing (as it's not on the cheap side), and confirmed that the protector would cover entire screen including the curve. It's not arrived yet but hoping it will this week, will post again once I recieve it.
EDIT: Well I got the protector, and applied it - geez it was very difficult, and I'm not very happy with the product at all.. it's already starting to get tiny bubbles around the sides/corners of the screen, and I'm positive I never touched those parts when applying it - tho they may have attracted some dirt during application as it was near impossible to apply...
Do not recommend this product, even if you do manage to get the protector applied without issues, its quality is very poor - I already have "scratched" it with my fingernail with not even applying force was really not happy about that - I hate to see how much damage it will take if I accidently knock it on something. Price is not worth the quality, if it was cheaper I would be happier with the product, but since it is a premium price for a protector it's a rip off.
The only good thing I can say is, they have matched it perfectly to the screen - included the cutouts for the speaker, camera, home button, etc.. and it goes all the way to the edges. I am happy it is protecting my screen fully but am not certain it will survive any major scratches... luckily it included 2 protectors.
I shouldve read the sellers feedback more, delving through his feedback I can see a few people complained about quality (tho they were talking about the tempered glass ones being nothing more than plastic) - guess it's my own fault for not doing my research.
If these protectors don't last me, I will have to try import that TATE one off Amazon using a freight forwarder (tho it'll end up costing me a bit to do that).
I've bought these online from ebay. Good price, 2 pieces/pack, fits perfect and no air at all and it's better than the one applied.

Thanks.. I may buy them if the current product i have starts to annoy me more.. right now it seems ok and is protecting the screen but not sure how long it will last.
Hey everyone
I am trying to find a screen protector that has a few features
- easy install
- tempered glass/oleo-phobic
I recently bought some nuglass one and the back film that you pull off with the "back" sticker didnt come off, the sticker did but not the film lol i was so confused.
Anyway, i found this video, looks good but the seller on amazon widamin does not ship to australia
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=df4mVqalPxE
And i also heard the Flosmall one was good, but you have an install kit and apparently have to apply adhesive around the edges yourself which kinda makes me nervous
any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for the response, my question is which one did you buy and how well did it work, there's so many to choose from and that's the problem, i have tried one from ZUSLABS which didnt workout as i explained in the initial post
I bought tempered glass made from MAXSHIELD.
Its really good cover your whole screen.
I'm satisfied. Though my personal favourite brand is NILLKIN but can't see that for mate 10 hence bought MAXSHIELD for $8

Odd, the last Maxshield one i tried was for my Oppo A73/Oppo F5 ( the phone i had before the mate 10 ), and it fit the screen just fine, but only had adhesive around the top and bottom of the protector, and had this odd grid like pattern that you could see if you turned the phone sideways under light, it also had no oleo-phobic coating/finger print resistance, i ended up removing it and it broke all over the screen.
I guess maybe they upped their quality with the mate 10
Honestly, they all stink. The problem with the ones that have black edges is that they pretty much don't work with a case, as the case will pry the protector off. The Nillkin is the best I've seen and tried, but it doesn't cover the edges because the edges are curved (the ones with black edges are just hiding the curved edge from sight btw).
I spent money on quite a few and sent all of them back except the Nillkin, which actually shattered and I don't know how. I never dropped it. Anyway, pretty much since the start of 2018 I've been going naked. I will admit if you hold my phone up to the light there are 3-4 extremely minor scratches around the bottom right of the screen (which incidentally is where I touch the screen the most with my right thumb).
I know even small scratches bother some people, but it's not like you would ever see them with the screen on or feel them with your finger. I wouldn't even know they were there if I never went looking for them.
