Hi guys I surprisingly installed 8.4 version and xposed v87 with ease. I have been trying modules and although I can't embed a number in my sim (I have fixed this now!!) exposed seems to work all right
I have checked n-ify and was excited however the very old stable vesion doesn´t show correctly the quick settings, and the top buttons, quick shortcut to settings doesn't work. However I read in the xposed forum for this phone that various people got it working, they used daily builds where quick settings and even the Google assistant worked, posted on October I searched for these, but I got stuck on 650, and early September build, newer ones will crash the system UI and render the device unusable until I delete the apk folder.
Soo does anyone have it with quicksettings and working? thanks for your time and support!!
UPDATE: I have disabled version 650 when rotating the device it would make SystemUI crash, and i tried disabling features to make it stable again but didn't mind turning it off all together, support and testing from everyone is very welcome

@gabrielqv Hi, mi R1 has exposed v87 but Andoid N-ify doesn´t work properly, Does in your phone works fine?

It seems like the ROM isn't the only key to make it work, what version of the program and settings are you using??

Nify version:0.2 and install stock rom v21 update. Xposed v87 sdk 23 arm try and tell me if it works
I have the "modified" newest 8.4 Rom (downloaded here & TWRP flashed, latest SU v2.82 running with Busybox ) ... OTA disabled (of course) to avoid relocking the bootloader, etc. Xposed Installer v3.1.1 and then Xposed Framework v87 (API23) - reboot in between. Finally, GravityBox (MM) v6.3.7 running - that allows me to tweak & customize my Lockscreen, Statusbar, Pulldown, etc. - those couldn't be done on the near stock MM 6.0 debloated & already stripped of Amazon Apps.
Everything is running smooth & stable since the mod's are basic & minimal ... also, unrelated but added 6.0.1 Emojis for messaging. Going to run with this basic setup for a little while before I attempt to play with N-ify.
Working good over here as well...!

I don't think it matters which variant of the P7 you have. I recently tried a custom ROM by Lishuo which is based on B124 for the L07. Even Xposed 2.5 wouldn't install. I have no problem with my current ROM although I can't upgrade Xposed beyond V2.5. I suspect the earlier builds of the P7 stock ROMs are compatible (up to a point) with Xposed, but the later builds are not.
I'm on stock rom and I use Xposed version 2.5
Some module works, but most of them don't, which is sad. I mainly use it for gravity box which work at 85% I would say.
Stock B126 with Exposed 2.6.1
But using only for XPrivacy.

The problem is not the version of Xposed, the thing is you could be using the latest 2.7 version but it doesn't work on our devices for any "theming" thing. I guess it would work for XPrivacy but not if you want to use, lets say, GravityBox to theme the navbar.
I've had Xposed for some time, used it for Snapchat modules, and it worked fine. I installed GravityBox [KK] today and for some reason whenever I try to open it I get "GravityBox system framework not responding. Exiting."
Is it because I don't have theme engine disabled or is it something else?

I had it when I was using Xposed 2.6 or higher or when I didn't reboot my phone after instaling it (which is dumb ... I just forgot xD)
I'm now on 2.5.1 and I didn't touch disable nor enabled theme engine, I left it as it was when I installed Xposed 2.5.1

As far as I know, yes it should work
I just rooted my P7 and try instaling latest xposed. I have this error and framework is not instaling.
Should I install custom recovery too ?

Which version of Xposed do You recommend to reduce this limitations ?
EDIT:
I tested Xposed versions: 2.6 and 2.4.1 and 2.5
In ver. 2.6 You have to check on "Disable resources hook" option in settings. Another way Xposed don't start and inform about incompatibility with our devices . But with this option many module are blocking and dont work.
In ver. 2.4.1 and 2.5 There isn't this this restriction and Xposed starting normally and some module (blocked in ver 2.6) work properly but many also don't work.
In addition, this version changes the icons in the home screen theme. :thumbdown:
In any way on rom (B135) I can't use GravityBox module (irrelevant Xposed version). GravityBox interface don't even launch
And last problem. So, I didn't make backup set_immutable.list file o) . Somebody can help me and upload this file ?

I can only speak about the B121-126 which were the two version I used. On both, gravitybox was working perfectly with Xposed 2.5.1 (when I say perfectly, I mean about 85% of the tweaks were working)
Hey, I still have a problem with GravityBox (KK).
I am trying to use this module in the second ROM (B135 and now B136) but always have the same issue when trying to launch (see screenshot).
Any suggestions ? Did someone similar problem ?

I have theme engine enable and minminguard module active and no issue
simply install the zip without change anything on the build.prop (all instruction on the link above)
IMPORTANT : the theme engine MUST be enabled otherwise you will got a bootloop

Well many module not work because are designed for AOSP ROM
But minmin guard and xstana work fine
So just install an try !
We have to test many modules
And report what works and what not

It's a good idea to edit your first post with modules working or not after people reports. I will install xposed tomorrow or even tonight and check some modules.
Edit: Installation successful
First boot took ages (like 15-20) mins, but after that everything is working great. Thank you @wanam !

Am i the only person that can't make calls?
No. I've installed xposed on 6.0 before, and i wasnt able to make calls either. After disabling the modules and uninstalling xposed, the problem disappeared.
Same thing here, i can't make cals with this build.

This Xposed works well on latest MM. Got no issues. For those having call problems, I had the same problem with Flat style colored bars module. I was able to fix this by downgrading to 2.0.2. Remember to remove auto-update on playstore as well.

I have finally updated my Huawei P9 to NOUGAT (EVA-L19C185B385 ) and installed Xposed Systemless with Magisk 13.3 and it seems works good.
However, after several restarting the phone xposed stopped working !! (massege: framwork installed and not active)
any help please ?
Xposed on nougat? I thought there wasn't one yet. I'm pretty sure the Xposed Framework Unofficial unstable for Nougat is too unstable to be used..

That means that there is no Xposed for Nougat at the moment. Rovo89 is the only developer for Xposed-Framework and he wasn't able to port it to Nougat due to fact that Nougat has some major differences to Marshmallow. We have to wait until Rovo89 fixed the biggest problems.

For me i will be used to stay with this issue because I hate any device without xposed
after install this when any apps get updated, its showed incompatible with current system version. but the apps work good !!
is any one has same issue
1. Remove Xposed manager
2. Reboot phone
3. Install xposed manager
4. Activate models
5. Reboot phone
It should work good now?
I know this fixes the exposed for awhile but is there a more permanent fix yet.

For me Xposed v88 worked. All the versions later had the issue, just v88 didn't.
I'm using Magisk 14.0 with Xposed Framework Version 88.2 (From Magisk Module) 7.1.2 Nougat, Resurrection Remix ROM, works fine no issues.

thanks man. I know it's such a pain I have to delete the installer then turn off the module in magisk and delete it, then reboot then install the installer redownload the module in magisk, which is another reboot itself. Then I have to turn all my modules back on in Xposed then a third reboot. It's a process every time.

i tried it with OOS 9.0.5
the app is detecting xposed
but is not affecting the slider function
i think because the oos version
How do I install it? I used to have it in android 8, but with the update i lost it... I'm afraid to install it and bootloop my phone or brick it...

if you go to Magisk Manager, Download Section, search for (Riru -EdXposed)
and you find all the instructions there

now i use Yahfa, but i tried both and they work, honestly i dont see the difference, but as the developer said , try both and stick with the one you find smoother

when i use riru-core 19.6, edexposed 0.4.6.0-beta and magisk 20.2 i get bootloop. What versions to use to avoid this? For OxygenOS 9.0.9
Try edxposed 0.4.5.1 4463. It works for me on OOS 9.0.10
So ever since I got my first Android (Gingerbread) I've hated the stock 'brick' battery icon.
I've mostly used Gravitybox over the years to change it to the circle icon.
But I see Gravitybox isn't available for Android 11.
I've rooted and have EdXposed installed. I'm wondering if anyone can help or have a method of changing the battery icon. (A theme/ icon pack)
Id rather not go through the process of trying to manually unpack system UI, maybe there is another way? But I'm not finding it.

Yes the newest version works no problems. I'm not sure if magisk repo has newest version of edxposed, I had to find it on xda the other day.
Although I'm not using anything with xposed yet...

I assume you still lose GPay when you use xposed, right?
Sorry didn't fully test it, but with the new beta version of google pay, it let me log in and use the app (unlike old versions)

It would really be helpful if you could let me know what version of Riru module, what version of EdXposed Manager, and what version of EdXposed framework works for you, and if you're able to pass safetynet in Magisk.
There's so many factors with edxposed and without being able to do a backup, I would really appreciate specific version numbers, if possible, before flashing anything.

Here's screenshots of what I currently have setup. I did a reboot after each Module install, but not sure if it's necessary.
I also installed riru core v21.3, then updated to the latest, also not sure if was necessary, but I did have issues my first go around installing this but I didn't reboot after each Module installation.

I tried latest xposed and gravity box on my pixel 4a 5g, it works but for some reason, google camera force close, I must disable gravity box in order to make gcam working, nothing like that on your pixel 5?

I actually have a 4a5g, same phone as the 5 basically. Gcam closing happened to some people on older version of xposed I believe.
