Hi guys, I'm from Malaysia, using Oneplus 3T, A3003 model, currently on OOS 4.1.3. Been searching for awhile, but couldn't find a work around.
Here's the problem:
When using Facebook Messenger app, with Chat Head on, after some time, it will disappear without me closing it. Then when I manually launch it, it will shows connecting and then connected, and all the delayed notifications.
What I have done:
1) Keep it locked in the recent panels. Didn't solve it.
2) In Settings > Apps > Gear icon > enable the app auto-launch. Didn't help.
3) Enable System UI tuner, switch on Power notification control. Didn't help.
4) Uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Didn't help.
5) Wipe app cache and system cache. Didn't help.
6) Perform a clean factory reset on recovery mode ( wipe data, cache, erase everything). Still didn't work.
However, when I disabled the chat head, it's working fine. No forced close.
My questions are:
1) Anyone else facing this with their 3T? Are you guys on A3003 or A3010 model?
2) Is this an OOS issue? Or the app compatibility issue with Android N? Or is it hardware issue?
Thanks for the support.

Hi all.
I am sure this question has been asked again and again.
But I am having troubles with push notifications working for some apps
I.e. Pushbullet, kaokaotalk
They don't work unless i open the app.
WhatsApp and Facebook seem to be working fine.
Anyone have an absolute fix?

Even gmail and Google inbox don't work.
They have been setup as protected apps etc already

Try adding them to the memory whitelist.
Phone manager>system optimization (paintbrush)>settings (gear top right)>memory cleanup whitelist
My understanding is apps in this list will not clear the memory when you "kill" the app. I could be wrong. Please respond to this post if this fixes your problem or not.
Two important settings, under Battery (protected) and under "Apps" (ignore optimization). Also try to put CPU to performance

Solve -> Problem with Pushover notification on lockscreen
my notification did not show on notification and lock screen.
1. Phone manager>system optimization (paintbrush)>settings (gear top right)>memory cleanup whitelist
2. Setting>advanced settings>Battery manager>Power plan> Smart or Performance>
3. Setting>advanced settings>Battery manager>Protected apps> Turn on for Whatsapp and Pushover
4. Clean Master < I think this is the culprit causing problem > Ensure Tools>Notification Cleaner is disable. My was enabled. and it cause notification not to show on the Lock Screen.

I have a note 8, but emui 4.1 is pretty standard across the line. Having the exact same issue. Have tried the PNF, whitelisted google play and whatsapp in the memory whitelist, protected apps, ignore battery optimizations etc.
I can repeat the error. So it seems that it ignores the whitelist like you suspected.
Steps. Clear all apps.
Open quicksync manually sync accounts that i want to show up.
Notifications appear.
Go to app task manager view with the square button, kill app.
Send message. No dice.
Have even tried using the PNF heartbeat fix, but to no effect.
Now i have one odd issue. When i received the device, google play services was already installed, but some how it was in the system folder despite the phone being locked. Not sure if that is an issue, since if anything i would suspect that would be helpful instead of harmful, but i have no way of removing it to test since bootloader is locked , and the play services is persistent over a factory reset.
Anyways, any other solutions i have not thought of would be helpful, huawei makes such nice devices, but if you get stuck on a chinese rom, it can be a nightmare for some.. went through the same headache with mate 7 but managed to solve its notifications issues.
Go to Settings-->Accounts-->Tap on the Menu button at the bottom-->Check[?] Auto-sync data

Yes I have tried that. For now I think i will just add my chat clients and aquamail to the locked status on the task manager and keep them open... I have tried all iterations of power saving, etc.. so I think it may just be the build unfortuneately. Hopefully EMUI 5.0 will be a bit less invasive, as they said they are going back to a more stock android vibe to compete in international markets.
Hello, I am in the exact same situation. Did you get some luck?
I updated mine to emui5, but nothing changed.
Do you have a AL10 chinese version? I am thinking that this might be the point.
Thank you.
For the last few days I'm experiencing this therrible stutter whenerver I want to acces quick options or open app drawer. On video with such low bitrate it's not that obvious, but if you watch carefully you will see. I mean this kind of hickup. App drawer does the same somewhere in the middle. I've tried to wipe cache numerous times, then full wipe using built-in recovery, but it's still happening. And other than that the phone is a beast and performs great, it's just annoying to have one of the fastest Android devices out there and being forced to look at those stutters every time I want to use quick settings or app drawer.. Anyone know what may be the case here?

Hi, I had the same issue after the 7.0 & 4.0 update, after a few days of using it. Cleared the cache and factory reset from recovery solved it. Also, I`ve reconfigured my phone from the scratch, without making any backups ( just contacts ) . Hope it helps

Hi. i have same problams with animations after update oxygen 4.0.1, but it happens when i switch on any Services (Advanced>Accessibility>Services)
Hi,
Since I uninstalled both Greenify and hibernator some apps are not starting anymore when I switch on the phone. (podcast republic, Gmail and Three in touch. There might be others that are playing up but haven't noticed that.) Three in touch and podcast republic are set to start automatically and Gmail I think always have always done this. Any idea what is going on and what to do to make them work properly.
Running OOS 5.0.4 and not rooted

I will suggest
1.Try booting the phone in safe mode and then check
2.For the required app goto app info > battery >turn on background activity (if not) AND also you can try turning off the battery optimisation setting for the specific app
3.Install SD MAID ( sideload the pro version from net) and in the app control section try turning on individual boot up settings for the specific apps <<<I THINK IT REQUIRES ROOT>>>
4.Atlast you can try reinstalling those apps
:good:
Thanks
Tried option one but didn't seem to have an impact
Option two, I can't see an option to turn on or off background activity for Gmail or podcast republic. Switching off battery optimization for three in touch seems to have sorted that problem but not for podcast republic. Gmail doesn't seem to have this option.
Option 3 haven't tried
Option 4 I might try tomorrow.
Thanks for the tips. At least one problem is solved now.

I am having a weird bug from today only, never faced in past 2 years.
I am unable to open the "Network & Internet" settings via settings app, it crashes every single time when i tried, but the weird thing is i am able to open my wifi and network settings from quick settings tiles and this way settings app is not crashing, don't know what is happening, as neither i have done any customization to my phone nor i have installed any new app.
I have tried booting into safe mode also, but Network & Internet setting also crashed there, can anybody help to figure out how to resolve this problem without hard reset, as that would be my last option.

Try clearing data n cache for settings, setting storage and setting suggestion in app manager? You'll need to enable show system.

Just moments ago I got a forced OTA update from Samsung. Big one 2.5 gigs.
Went through and everything seems to be working perfect, except I can't get into my settings app.
The moment I tap it closes immediately.
Things I've done:
Cleared Settings App cache and Data. Restarted. Cleared Phone Cache from Boot Menu. Uninstalled Playstore updates. Tried a different launcher.
If I have to do a factory reset that's fine, but I would prefer not to. Anyone have any ideas?
