Device: LeEco Le 2 Pro (X620) Okay so basically I was trying to get TWRP onto my phone,I typed Fastboot oem unlock-go or something along those lines,Phone powered off and only shows red charging light when plugged in I believe it could be bricked. I have tried the tool SPFLASHTOOL but it doesn't seem to do anything when I plug in my phone Please Reply if you have a solution and I can also screenshare if you want to try something
Thanks in advance
Try booting into fastboot mode. Just hold the power button for very long. Install Tinno drivers and other drivers like mtk preloader
Hey, I bought I to service shop and they said that my motherboard is screwed and apparentlyneed "repair"
Should I even bother at this stage?

sorry for my bad english
Could you give more info? Which phone, what bricked the phone, bootloader locked/unlocked, what do you see in device manager on your PC?
Are you able to go into fastboot?
There's another user dealing with a bricked phone currently here, see if anything there helps you out. Link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z2-pro/help/zuk-z2-booting-anymore-restore-t3539804

So in the last days I bricked my z2 pro by closing the bootloader with a custom installed, and to solve the problem I put it in EDL mode and I used the flash mi, but now when I press the power button it just vibrates and flashes a green Led, but it does not turn on, I already tried several combinations of buttons to get into fastboot and nothing, and when I plugged the usb into the pc it shows nothing

WTF
What did you think when you flash OTA update with custom recovery TWRP?
These are things that you must know before you flash or do anything on your phone.
OTA UPDATE-->ONLY ORIGINAL RECOVERY CAN FLASH.

HS-USB Diagnostics 9008 ? In windows device manager?
What do you see in Windows device manager?
Do you see Fastboot, or HS-USB Diagnostics 9008 ?
Did you unlock_critical?
If you see HS-USB Diagnostics 9008, then your bootloader have to be bind to one slot.
Solution: Follow steps of LG qualcomm. You have a hard way a head you, because there or no ready model-files yet that "someone" extracted from our firmware-binary-files.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/general/fix-unbrick-hard-bricked-lg-g3-vs985-t3467067
You need drivers for Qualcomm installed on windows Qualcomm QDLoader_HS-USB_Driver 32 and 64bit Link is in the link above
Follow internet with these keywords when you search "unbrick HS-USB Diagnostics 9008 " on google. Also there is defferense between in partiotions mountspoint because of different GB-size 64GB 128GB
Don't follow this unless you know your thing: Warning! https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2/how-to/guide-install-payload-bin-twrp-t3865319
This is my partiotion that I flashed and theyr size, size isn't important information but when flashing through Qualcom there is need for specifik hex-code, start-sector to end-block for each partition in the EMMC (phone-harddrive)

I am almost in the same situation, maybe yours is easier, dependes on the details we don't know exactly, but this Qualcomm Com port is the last resort. I trouble when I did flash everything when I dumped/extracted the firmware, maybe the software-hack-tools I used where not perfect, Or me dum for flashing every img and

Do you know if they can or not notice if device was hard bricked by software mistakes?
@kurdi9132
Plug your phone to your computer via. USB, and leave it for 15-16mins, you should hear a notification sound, then check Device Manager to see if Qualcomm 9008 comes up.
Please let us know!
well... doing some stuff with t-virus and my curiosity led to situation like what is mentioned here. everything was fine untill I pressed reboot>edl from recovery. Phone went down and went down deep!
PC makes sound when I connect the phone. but nothing more than that.
Device manager shows HS-USB Diagnostics 9008.
It looks like that the phone does not even charge. I cant feel any warming while connected to power adapter.
So...?
hello, i have hard brick at my mi8 .
When i try to press the power button the phone doesn't boot, If i try to go into recovery mode it doesn't boot and same for fastboot mode.
The screen is unresponsive (no backlight) and it doesn't vibrate. When i connect the phone to my computer it is automatically recognized as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM5) which correspond to the EDL mode (i think).
When try to flash any rom with miflash i get the error " cannot receive hello packet.
Can anyone help me ?:crying:

Likely you have too much power coming from your usb ports, use a usb hub such as this: https://www.amazon.com/BYEASY-Porta...jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
Now try Mi Flash again, make sure that the lock bootloader (which is checked by default) is unchecked.
Now it should work, be sure that you are using a fastboot rom and not a recovery rom. ( a recovery rom will not work)
Make sure that it is a fast boot for your device : If you have a global device here is a link with quite a few fastboot roms :https://c.mi.com/thread-1899815-1-0.html
If you still have trouble let me know, and tell me specifically how you arrived at your brick, I helped someone with this exact issue a couple of weeks ago, and I was going to link you to that thread. But i can't find it at the moment.
I get the same error " cannot receive hello packet" with hub USB.
MY xioami mi 8 is global version, i unlock the bootloader and make a downgrade with twrp to a older version of stable rom, and when the phone start ,its all ok and login my mi account, and the phone goes down and never more boot. Always in the pc i get qualcom port (edl mode) . Sorry for my bad english.:crying:
I think i need account with EDL authorization to flash any rom. And i can't found anyone to save me..
Try https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-8/how-to/unbrick-mi8-edl-authorized-account-t3896677
Thank you .. i try this metod but no success

Maybe try this site : MOD EDIT: link removed
I dont have his name but one of the techs from this site is a frequent XDA user and supposedly legit.
In the end there is a risk of losing $12. Seems to be worth $12 to me.
I send message to this brother , and it's 40 dollars .. i'm thinking about
thanks for reply
I installed android 12 beta on my Mi 11 ultra. Did not like it and wanted to install global. Installed TWRP, wiped data and instead of rebooting in twrp, I tried to enter fastboot mode via adb. The phone screen turned black. Now it is not showing in ADB, not detected by Mi flash tool, not enetering fastboot mode and not entering recovery. When I connect it to computer, there is this connecting sound but soon it is followed by disconnecting sound. Not even getting the charging screen. In the device manager on Windows, there is this Qualcum HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM9) when the phone is connected via USB cable to PC.
Anyway to restore any firmware on it? It is a CN version, star, has bootloadder unlocked.
EDL time? Or even worse? Is it paperweight now?
EDL time I think.

Believe me, this is reassuring. I'm happy to settle on EDL instead of paperweight... For EDL does the phone need to be opened, back cover removed and then that magic short circuit or is there a way to get it done without opening the phone?

Don't worry. When mine was EDL flashed the guy asked me to download a specific miflash version that he had the link for and the ROM of choice to be flashed. I connected the phone to the PC, he connected, asked me to put it in to EDL mode ( he will explain if your not sure) and done his stuff using TeamViewer with control of my desktop. Once finished, just rebooted when asked, all done.
need mi auth to flash
How do you put the phone in EDL mode?
can you get your phone on fastboot?

Hold both vol up and down while powering up or adb, adb reboot edl or fastboot, fastboot oem edl . You will see edl drivers load on your PC.
Thank you guys for your replies. I got it fixed and now it is rocking again. If anybody faces the same issue, please see details below.
Diagnosis: EDL mode
Signs and problems: Completely dead phone. Black screen. None of the buttons or their combinations work. Volume down plus power, volume up plus power, Both volume buttons, All three buttons. None of these worked in this EDL mode. In fact, the only sign that this phone was "alive" was the Qualcomm driver showing in the device manager when the phone was connected to a PC. There was this yellow sign even on the Qualcomm driver and the official Xiaomi flash tool failed to detect the phone due to the Qualcomm driver malfunction. Got the Qualcomm driver working (the yellow sign on the driver name icon in device manager) by disabling windows driver signature check. After this the phone was detected by the official Xiaomi flash tool. When I tried to flash the official and stock CN ROM, it did not allow me and gave the error "you are not authorized to download". Took the phone to Xiaomi service, they refused as the phone was of another region. They did not know any unofficial paid solution. Took it to local technicians. They tried but failed (ultimate multi-tool, some other tool they called as "aqua" did not work.
Treatment: Searched online and found a YouTube channel (
). Paid USD 35 and got it flashed via TeamViewer. I just sat anxiously (praying that he must not be a scammer...). He did some magic and successfully flashed the phone with the original CN ROM with the boot loader unlocked. I then was able to install the global version via fastboot as usual.
Thanks again for the free support I got here. Obliged and stay blessed

I tried this method today and it wasn't successful. It appeared he flashed it with his auth code, but it still doesn't power on. I'm so bummed because DHL won't touch the phone for less than $151 (risk of it being sent back) because seller wants me to lie and say it's a gamepad when DHL has precautions on phones being sent back, etc. requiring importer certificates.
My phone was acting strange on 3rd day: wasn't detecting charging USB cable overnight, would only charge wirelessly. I manually rebooted a bunch of times, then it detected the USB charging and would charge. About that time I updated to Miui 13 OTA update (Chinese /EN Rom) and noticed it was rebooting randomly in my pocket asking for PIN (not getting notifications) . Again got no USB charging through cable.
I was doing a bunch of vol up/down and Power and rebooted into safe mood. Rebooted again after things were 'ok' and little while later, the phone was OFF and never came back on again.
Did I put it into EDL and brick it this way? I Never flashed anything through USB until I tried the 35eur paid service dude.
Happy to see that is being fixed.
Wish it had fixed mine. Unfortunately, it didn't . Was refunded

Nothing black screen, i tried up down button and power but nothing, few days ago recovery mode worked now nothing.. i tried to look some programm for force boot the phone through pc but all websites link are empty, I don’t know what to do.. i was updating the phone then this happened..
Get the device in EDL mode with working Qualcom drivers and a good connection to your pc. Then follow below guide, all needed looks to be there. You can get the device in EDL mode with a flash cable that you can buy cheap or make one yourself from a USB cable - there are guides online for doing that too.
