Hi guys,
in custom kernel we have the possibilities to change the RGB values but what we need is a saturation and constrast control to make the screen perfect. Is possible to add this control on any custom kernel? maybe some dev can reply to this topic to explain if it's possibile or not
I want to keep the kernel I already have with cm13, but I also want KCAL drivers to adjust the screen colors. Is there a stand alone mod or anything like that?
Does anyone have a KCAL temp profile (or manual configuration) that matches or clones close to the stock color profile in MIUI?
Thanks in advance
I have used the default and srgb mode but both of them gives a yellowish shade to the screen , i want my screen to look cool and unsaturated . Can anyone provide the best tweaks in this colour saturation . I have elemental x kernel installed so i can tweak the settings .
Using 4.0.3 , rooted , elemental x kernel
Hi,
I use these settings (you can raise the saturation to 55):

Thank you , these were really nice tweaks , totally got rid of yellowish shade , screen looking good for now.
The saturation of Mi 5 's screen is too high. I prefer the standard mode(in setting-display-contrast & colors). After flashing 3rd kernel, the MIUI stock display option is invalid. And the screen's color come to unsatisfactory. It is not easy to adjust KCAL option manually. So if I can find some way to figure out the original color profile of Mi 5's stock ROM, and I can apply to KCAL?
btw, I have spyder5 colorimeter. If I can use it to calibrate my cellphone's display color?
