Hi
I've a a3003 and I'm running freedom is 1.3.
now I want to move to lineageos.
I did install tugapower n10 and everything did run very smooth.
after booting in TWRP and a restart,I had to reconfigure my phone.
it didn't matter what I did, I had to reconfigure my phone after every boot to TWRP.
now I'm back on freedom os and everything is fine.
how do I move to lineageos without so much trouble?
thanks
Happened to me too. Just wondering: Are you coming from OxygenOS 4.0.2 or 4.0.3?
Check your TWRP version. You need 3.0.4 (currently unreleased) or you will have these issues.
After I updated TWRP my resets went away also.
TWRP 3.0.4 link https://forum.xda-developers.com/on.../recovery-official-twrp-oneplus-3-3t-t3543391
I would try flashing the latest 4.0.3 OnePlus 3T firmware first, and then try the new ROM
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862702435
And also make sure to have at least the latest TWRP 3.0.4-1 or you will have problems.
Thanks everybody. After flashing TWRP everything is fine
Thats a knows TWRP issue make sure you are on TWRP 3.0.4.0 + the latest is 3.0.4.1
the one plus 3 and 3T recovery are same check TWRP Thread at One plus 3 Section
After last update of OS lost root.
Had to install TWRP again, after install got into bootloop, flushed OP recovery again but had no access to recovery at all.
Finally flashed latest version of Oxygen-OS, 4.1.6 running on Android 7.1.1
I understand sometimes newer versions of TWRP might not work well with latest OS
All this said.... what would be the safest yet most up to date TWRP version for the OP3T?
3.1.1.0 i believe or you can flash Blu-Spark TWRP
I'm using Blu Spark's TWRP latest and it works wonderfully with OOS / FreedomOS v4.1.6 It's TWRP v3.1.1-x Blu_Spark v37 for OP3 & OP3T
TWRP v3.1.1-x Blu_Spark working with both custom and stock rom

The expected from beta software ones like battery problems, video recording does not work, and I think a few had unstable WiFi here and there.

I would strongly recommend you unlocked your bootloader first, then follow the instructions in first post.

check out guides in XDA for rooting your device. Unlocking the bootloader should definitely be a part of the guide.
I have an Oneplus 3t and I am trying to install the FreedomOS 2.12 rom on Oneplus 3T but it gives me error that "the rom is for Oneplus 3T but the phone is Oneplus 3".
I am currently on Paranoid Android 7.3.1
Will changing the build.prop file solve this issue?
What TWRP version are you using?

Hello.
I have installed Lineage OS 15.1-20180806-NIGHTLY-cheeseburger a few days ago on my Oneplus 5. Yesterday I got an OTA and by the system I was told that it will automatically boot into recovery and try to install itself or I have to install it manually if there is no compatible recovery.
When it booted into recovery there was an error:
This package requires firmware version 5.1.4 or newer. Please upgrade firmware and retry.
Updater process ended with ERROR 7
How can I install new firmware? The only link I have found is https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/how-to/firmware-modem-collection-flashable-zips-t3627049 where is firmware with Oxygen OS.
Where can I fin firmware for Lineage OS? I am little bit confused with what actually firmware is...
OS: Lineage OS 15.1-20180806-NIGHTLY-cheeseburger
Phone: ONEPLUS A5000
Android version: 8.1.0
Recovery: TWRP 3.2.1-1
Thank you.

Does OxygenOS 5.1.4 only contain firmware without main OS? Because the filesize of that zip is only about 60MB. Will it wipe my actual OS? Which zip should I pick from the list provided on mentioned link? There are several OOS OBs. What does it mean?
Thanks

That's only the firmware, no rom included as mentioned. Full modem and firmware is around 1.7GB.
This is the one you're looking for https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...llection-flashable-zips-t3627049/post77185007
It should not wipe your os, but make backups as usual.
As it was already said, it is useless to flash whole OOS. You just need to flash given firmware and after reboot you should be able to upgrade LOS.
