so i have an lg optimus l90, and when i try turning it on it stays stuck at the lg boot logo, doesnt move from there, and if its off and i plug it in to charge, it marks 0% battery, then changes to a screen with a loading icon frozen inside of the battery icon, doesnt move from there either, i tried factory resetting the phone, but after confirming that i want to reset the phone, it stays stuck on "Factory Reset Processing..." and doesn't move from there either, i connect it to the usb while its off and while pressing the volume down button, and it enters what seems to be the download mode, but in the codes it says something about fastboot, so im not sure what im doing there... any help would be very much appreciated.
Nobody knows??
Also, I'm trying to upload an image to show what screen appears when trying to enter "Download Mode", I can find the insert image button, but there I can only insert an image from another website, in other words i can only attach a url, doesn't give me the option to upload an image from my computer, and i can't seem to find another option letting me upload the picture either, If anybody can tell me as to what to do with the phone, tell me everthing step by step, because I don't really know much about this, but as long as there are steps I can get things done...

I know this is all about the Optimus Black but I have no where else to turn. My Marquee is stuck showing the box with and arrow point at android. The four softkeys pulsate slowly and will not boot.
I've tried the steps in another thread using the kdz file. Using the software updater, it fails stating "wParam:100, iParam=52"
Alternatively I can get into what I think is software mode by holding down the vol +, camera, and power when plugged into usb. That shows a screen showing "Download is in progress. Do not disconnect cable" but I'm not sure what to do here.
Please help!
Have you tried with R&T tool ?
I don`t know much about marquee but if its a CDMA phone must work with that tool. Search OB threads and try the unbricking tools for our OB maybe will help.
Try to push both volume keys and power until your phone restarts.
Good luck !
Here's what I did.
1) performed factory data wipe in TWRP
2) Installed all three .zip files, ROM, gapps, and lgapps, all said successful
3) dalvik/cache wipe
4) tried to boot.
When I try to boot my phone, I get the LG splash screen for a split second, then just a black screen. I cannot boot into recovery. I can get it into download mode by holding the power button, then waiting for the screen to go off, and holding volume up and plugging in the usb cable quickly before it goes to the lg splash screen. The problem is once I'm there, it goes to a "firmware update" screen which won't progress no matter how long I wait. My computer also won't correctly detect my phone. If in download mode, it won't detect it at all. If I just boot, it pulls up "local drive" E all the way to R and asks me to format each one. When I try to access E:, it tells me that the parameter is wrong. All the others simply ask to be formatted.
Please help. I probably shouldn't have messed with my phone in the first place. I thought I'd done it right, but I guess not

I might have the solution. You will need Ubuntu/ any other distribution that you want.
Try this, with these files.
Best of luck, hope you can fix this issue!

When you're in download mode, of course it won't progress because it's waiting for you to push an update.
You can use the lg flash tool to. Tot back to 11a from download mode.
However, I had a similar issue as yours and after asking more questions I was able to get back to recovery. The button sequence is tricky when you can't power your phone all the way off, but it can be done. Keep trying or just tot back from download mode.

So when I installed the TWRP app on the google play store and started it. It required me to rewrite my sd card or whatever so I went and ahead and did it. While my phone turned off still plugged into my computer via usb it started spamming the format windows on my computer. Like roughly 12 tabs opened up asking to format this drive. So I closed all the windows and re plugged in the usb and the same problem came up. And awhile all of this is going on the device is on but the screen is black and the back lights are on. Even when trying to restart the phone its the same problem stuck on black screen and the formatting windows keep popping up. It won't go to download or recovery mode it just stays on the black screen. This is my 2nd lg g2 I bought for business and I don't recall ever having this problem with my original LG G2. Anybody have any experience with this or a fix?

Yeah I've tried but the lg flash tool will give a error in the middle of flashing it
saying the phone is disconnected from pc, even though its still connected. It would go up to 25% then 60% then back to 25% in the middle of flashing then the error pops up.
Edit: Yeah while flashing the vs98024A kdz it will stop at 60% on the lg mobile support tool and it won't go past that. It'll just have the phone being disconnected from the computer error.
Is it safe to assume nobody knows how to fix this?
Same exact brick here.

Suggestion, have you tried the tot method yet? There isn't a 24A tot, but you can always take the ota.
same thing
I have the same thing and got it the same way with goomanager .was installing recovery and after reboot I got black screen with backlight on but to logo no nothing... can't get to download mode because I can't power off the phone. I also get the format drives promt in windows (about 15 or so all with a different drive letter) one drive I can read and it contains a folder called image with files in it. that drive is write protected. at this point I will wait till the backlight kills the battery and hope I can get into download mode after it shuts down.
FYI: I did try the LG mobile support tool but it did not see the phone. would love some ideas....

instead of waiting for the battery to drain, try this:
1. Unplug the phone from charger/USB cable
2. press and hold the power + volume down buttons for a few seconds... let go of the buttons 2 seconds after you feel it vibrate.
3. hold the volume up, and connect the phone to your computer.
you should be in Download mode by now....proceed to flash the phone back to stock using the LG Flash tool.
Hope this helps.

Well I tried steps 1-3 and no change. I have also tried this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
in Linux it seems to flash to the phone fine but I am still stuck with a black screen with the backlight on
I did wait for the phone to run down and shut off but still could not get into download mode.
My wife has the same phone .. is their a way to copy her working files to the bricked phone?
Windows see's the phone as QHSUSB_BULK in device manager if that helps any. before all this started it saw it as an android device
Hi, I need some help or guides on a problem I just got.
I have a rooted S3 LTE (I9305), which seems to be soft bricked, if I understand what I have read so far. I need to either get it to work again, or at least a way to access files, so I can extract some data from it.
The situation is as follows:
I came home the night between sunday and monday, from a holiday, on which I had used the phone to take a lot of photos. At the point where I entered my car, the phone was working. I used the GPS to take, where I parked my car. Switched off the screen, and drove home.
When I got home, I could see the screen was hanging at the boot logo. So it must have crashed and rebooted it self at one point - don't know when.
Tried to restart 4-5 times, but only got to the boot screen. Pulled the bat. but still the same.
Suddently at one point, I couldn't even get to the logo screen, instead it just shows white and black stripes across the screen.
If I'm lucky I can get into download mode, but only around every 10 time or so.
I managed to keep it in download mode at one point, and through Odin wanted to re-flash my device, but it failed saying it need a pit file.
So this is where I stand now. Is there a way to access the phone from my computer, so I could download the photos taken, or can I flash it without loosing any of the photos and if so how?
if you have a custom recovery installed you could maybe try to plug it in to a PC and mount the USB storage via the menu

Which menu are you thinking about? The PC doesn't recognize the phone, as a device. Can't find it anywhere. And in the download mode, I can't do anything on the phone, or at least it doesn't reacts.
Anyone? I'm a bit lost here

Do you have a custom recovery installed like Clockwork mod or TWRP recovery manager?? If you have you'll be able to access it by switching your phone off then holding power up + home + power until you see the boot animation

Offcause I forgot the phone at Work, so can't test to be sure. But if I recall correctly I have TWRP installed.
But don't think I can get into it. The only compination of buttons that I had success with, was volume down + home + power into the download mode, as I said. But that isn't even all the times I can get into that.
Update:
Yes, as I expected I couldn't start it with volumen up + home + power, all I get is the black and white stripes.
Hi
I have two issues:
1) When I go to power on my Honor 4x (Che2-L11 ) it gets stuck on honor logo boot page. This has happened to me once before so I downloaded from the official Huawei website the rollback update.app, saved to SD card and then used the power+vol up button to then update with the SD card. That worked last time.
2) However, when I try power+vol up, it does not do anything at all. It just stays on the honor logo boot page no matter how long I hold it for.
3) If I connect with USB cable to laptop and then hold power+vol down button it goes into something called fastboot recovery and I have two options there but neither seem to work.
4) Also, not sure the phone is charging properly. Seems to stay on pic of batter. THough I managed to get the circle thing showing the percentage and left it until it went to 100%.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Gavin
Can anyone help please?
