i know this thread is for the developer forum but im new here and i even cant post there.
so before you think i ama noop, wait !!
i know many about android and my device(huawei p7) but i am not a developer or how can say this better i dont can programming in C, C++ or something.
ok here is the my problem.
Surdu_petru works on a cm11 build for huawei ascend p7 because nobody else do it.
But he is very busy and has no time to work on it or something else.
he put the sources for cm11 on githhub
can one of you create a working cm11 build from there?
or teach me how to do it i learn very fast.
and i think it is very sad that a great phone like the ascend p7 has a so small developer community (active developer).

I know how to program and use linux although I've never ported Android. I can build Android and get images for flashing but I'm unable to perform tests because my bootloader is "locked" and I can't boot anything...

You wrote "room" your Ascend, if you dont understand what your are doing, you could end with a nice brick, instead of a phone.
The reason why you have not got any answer is because some guys here doesnt like questions that has been already answered a lot of times, because that means that you havent put any effort to search.

They are doing a very nice job costumizing P8 lite... They even have a Post with an icon set of the original android that we can use in any of our emui themes...

I know the IF we ever get a custom rom for the Mi 8 lite it is definitively to early to ask for a timeline but my question is more administrative. If we do get a rom, will it be released on this form using the mi 8 lite tag? and in your general opinion will we get a rom for the Mi 8 lite? I just got the phone, hoping that I can live with MIUI but I am seriously doubting that.

I saw few different ROM available for the MI 9 (mine is a SE) in the relevant section.
I know Leanageos since few years, but i never tried it.
Can someone give a short comparison of all these rom (leanage, pixel exp, havoc, Paranoid ... etc. ) to help me to choose please ?
