Hi all
I really appreciate all the developers here who contributed and are contributing in CUSTOM ROM.
i have a humble request to you all. as we all know that still we dont have a bug free NOUGAT ROM. and there are so many ROMs available like AOKP,Lineage,MOkee, Viper, RR and many more and all of them are working for their own ROMs and updates.
REQUEST is that please make single ROM, work on a SINGLE ROM so we can get a flawless ROM.
i still once again thank you all for your contributions and help. you guize are awesome.:good:

When LOS 14.1 gets bug free all other ROMs will also be bug free since all the other ROMs are based on LOS 14.1. Most of the bugs are solved now, the only bug remaining is camera and flashlight.

The same i am requesting that try to work fix these left issues rather to make new ROM having same issues again and again.

Yes Codeworkx is trying to fix it. It's not that easy since LeEco didn't release all the sources.

i heard that they have winded up there business in INDIA, even i heard (via news) that they are shutting down in CHINA coz of heavy LOSS in business.
I have read today they aren't giving spare parts any more to all service center in china, who are responsible for repairs and the first ones have closed already...

And our custom roms are with many bugs.
XePeleato, Haky 86 and other will not fix them.
So i decided fix them on my own.

LineageOS or AOSP. Android 6.0 or higher would be awesome.

Its the OmniROM from haky. Its pretty good but it misses some features.
Fix OmniRom 6.0.1 by Hacky86.
I think it would be easiest to make it stable among the existing Roms.

I´m here! But I can´t show you the current state. It´s Sunday evening and I don´t have the time atm. If nobody reports to you, I will next Friday or Saturday.
I would suggest you to use the OmniROM because afaik its the most stable ROM we have atm. But features like Wi-Fi are missing. I think haky said he had some prblems with ramdisk.
Was able to build the CM15, however its not booting.
Can anyone help me with this?

can you share your changes from lineageOS 14.1 to 15.0
in device/sony/sumire , /device/sony/kitakami , kernel, etc.
from what I saw so far there are bare minimum changes necessary for in kernel & device
no sure what changes though (haven't really looked into it)

someone needs to make an oreo kernel thats why its not working when that is completed you shall have a working cm 15.1
there might be an oreo rom for this device closer than you think technically its already out for the dev world it has many bugs which means there is no point in updating to xda however you can use part of this rom get cm 15 working by the way its 8.1.0 Lineage 15.1

Um because Oreo is lot more complicated as it is being created from scratch which requires more brain which those certain developers do not know YET

Well that's what I had to do for the z5 community and is working cbf to do it for yours if your so eager go do it seriously I am so tired I cba rn so um yeah if they don't reply and you really want It done go n learn it yourself

pixel, RR Remix, bootleggers i can get pass the device register not a problem but please fix the bluetooth life is not the same with out it .gonna see about Pm another dev to see if he would help .otherwise great work every one device Hannah XT1924-7 UPDATE someone already gave me the commands to fix the bluetooth issue so now i can move on from stock awesome.. any one wants to know how to fix bluetooth just pm me and ill help and hit the thanks button

Solution there is none since all the roms have bugs
Music stutter on standby, Bluetooth for calling or flash light or camera issues on some Roms. I have flashed alot of Roms already and no update to any of the Roms since it's been out. So I'm running a Rom right now that has issues and that music on standby stutters but thankfully some one showed me how to fix Bluetooth and the distorted music but still it stutters on standby which no one as of yet got it fixed . I have also pm dev's about the Roms and some are working on it on the next release and some haven't pm me back to let me know if there gonna update there Roms. Waiting patiently:silly:

None I would say ..they all got problems like I said so if you want you can use AICP Rom or lineage 15.1 but they have Bluetooth issues that's about it ..calling by Bluetooth won't work if you don't mind that . Phusson , pixel , bootleggers, RR Remix all got issues there is a site called GitHub with more Roms on there that you can also use GSI Roms but still with the same issues with Bluetooth .
i don't use bluetooth, i rarely use for send media but nowadays everyone has apps for that and a lot faster...
i tried with aosp extended pie and bootloop
now im testing RR oreo, seems smooth
the pixel experience goes too laggy
EDIT: RR Oreo, it's hard to configure fingerprint, and when it's done, doesn't unlock
EDIT 2: Fingerprint is working, but as you said, audio stutters while playing, so i'm back to the boring Lenovo stock rom

Stick RR Remix would be your best bet for now until they start fixing the roms then everyone will be happy at last . ASOP extended Rom I flashed that and yes bootloops of course I know ..

Update(29/05/20): We have now Android 10 build for our Realme 1. Check out the thread here: [ROM][CPH1859/61][10][UNOFFICIAL] LineageOS 17.1
Download the latest build and twrp recovery given there and flash!
Update(11/03/20): I have resumed development. The first build is already up. Check it here: LineageOS 16.0 for Realme 1
I will start bug fixing and weekly builds soon.

I have stopped development for now due to less time for it and also I don't own the device. Will think of it after we have Stable Pie and work on LOS 16.0 then. If I get some help then things can be better.

People generally don't think of that and most of the users won't do. Also its Mediatek the development process would be itself hard and also fixing bugs would be troublesome

Firstly, those builds are Ports and not compiled from Source. Also after Android 7.1.2 Nougat and Treble Enbaled devices things have changed and not easy as they used to be. When I worked for Meizu devices I was successful in booting AOSP ROM for 2-3 devices but that not how things work now!

First of all the builds are not ready. Also I don't think we can unlock bootloader on Oppo F7 Youth

I'd like to volunteer to contribute in the dev process. I haven't ever done anything related to custom ROMs but I'd like to try and invest a few weeks/months into it. Invincible-Venom, it'd help me a lot if we could connect via some IM service (discord? or smth).

Thanks for showing interest pal but I need some experienced guys to join me. Firstly, you try building ROMs for any other device which you own from scratch(Build trees, make them stable) then you will learn how things work. Also this is Mediatek device with Treble enabled so things are not easy here.

Hi, I am looking for a new ROM for my Mi Mix and thought that the Bliss Rom looks the most promising to me.
However, the thread has been closed by the author, @heindrix and moderator @gregbradley without explanation.
Anyone knows why it is closed and if the ROM is a dead-end?

Hi there,
It's glad to see that somebody still wants to use the rom i maintained some times ago.
Unfortunately i've been so busy in my job, and well i've switched device to OP6T, that's why i decided to close the thread down to prevent any long wait and further disappoinment for never-ending wait.
Last time i checked the Bliss Rom source, they already updated and patched many things i've done before, so i can tell you that the source already very dependable.
All you need is another dev to cook it using Lineage Tree, and all will be good. :fingers-crossed:

Still, even if it is not the latest source code, is your latest build stable enough to be used day-to-day? The comments look good and there does not seem to be any major bug (like the proximity sensor, for example).

if i remember, the last build fairly good but can be improved. last time i've build the new update but i've deleted it and forgot to post it, lol.
i suggest you use rom build by inkypen. :fingers-crossed:

yeah, actually the rom from Bliss Team is very nice, it's full of features, and it's still my favorite team until now.
you can learn to build the rom and maintain it, there's so many tutorial and threads and telegram groups that will help you learn how to build a rom.
