1) I found that this same question has been asked 2-3 times in less than 5 days with all threads answered.
2) I found several options, but you have to choose which is best for you.

You are right, but I'm sorry there is no structure at all in this forum!!!!
There are few sticky threads but they have no normal topics.
I have seen some progressive forums where there are for e.g. few stickies as TOC's all others are descriptive branches. This forum has lack of this structure.
(forum e.g. forum.ru-board.com, www.4pda.ru/forum/)
Sorry, but here is difficult to find fast something usefull, that's why people do flood!
Ok, S2U2+S2V worked for me. Now I want a big photo also when SMS is coming. Is there a S2haveabigphotoalsoofasender?

This is hilarious
I tried searching for this but I could not find anthing on it, sorry if this is a repost.
Today I recieved a notification on my phone that said "A friend has recommend an app for you" or something to that extent. I selected it and it opened the browser, then opened the market and took me to the listing for some horoscope app.
This is the first time this has happened so I have no idea how that took place. Is this a feature in the Market place, or did some app do this by itself? Anyone have this happen to them?
this sounds interesting. I would also like to find out. I checked the market menus and nothing led me to this.
i believe the app you're looking for is aTrackDog. long press on an app from the list of installed apps and there is a "share with friends" option that posts a link to the app.

But I don't have aTrackDog, so I don't think it would be able to pop up a notification oh my phone.
Did you ever find out if your friend had actually sent some sort of recommendation? Reason I ask is perhaps your friend isn't actually sending the recommendation but the horoscope app your friend has download is without their knowledge...considering that the recommendation is for the same app in both cases :/

It never told me which friend so I have no idea.
I'm just gonna guess that whichever dev made that horoscope app might have made some other app that I DO have and thats how i got the notification.
Well I managed to get over 120 people in, so that was a success. Google have now taken my invite button away, so no more invites, I'm afraid.
Sorry to shout, but I've started to get pm's now asking for invites.
Okay, I've edited the 1st post cos I realised it will just disappear if there's no posts on it and I want to invite as many people as possible. Google+ is looking VERY good at the moment and the more people we can get in the better!
Thanks that was quick

You're welcome mate
Not many people taking up the offer, so it's easy to keep track of, and everyone seems to be getting in straight away as well. Win!
Thanks for the quick invite, but I just get a button that says "Learn more about Google+" and when clicked takes you to screen that tells you it is in limited Beta and offers to keep you posted. So are invites closed already or am I missing something?
thanks, just input my email address and was invited. But how to use g+?

My invitation had a link that said something like "View or comment on post »" and I used that to sign up.
If that's not working then just keep the email and try every now and then, but they were definitely accepting invites very recently.

There's not much to it, once you get going.

Got the invite, thank you very much! But:
Google+ is in limited Field Trial
At the moment, we're testing with a small number of people, but it won't be long before the Google+ project is ready for everyone. Leave us your email address and we'll make sure that you're the first to know when we're ready to invite more people.

I guess they must have their own criteria as to who gets in then, unless you just keep trying. Most of the people I invite are getting in straight away.
If I could help, I would.

I saw somewhere that there's a workaround for Google+ invites not working; I can't confirm this or anything, obviously... anyway, I think the article said that if you share something with a friend (i.e. you put in their e-mail address to share it), then it'll send out an e-mail to the thing you shared (like a post on your "wall" or whatever it's called), and then you can sign up. Just speculation, dunno if it works or not ^^
And yeah, I used my gmail account.

That's a very good point. Most of the people that are posting their email addresses to the spreadsheet are using gmail or googlemail addresses. There's only a few that haven't so maybe that's a deciding factor. I suppose it would make some sense, while it's still in beta.
Edit: Just saw Breece's post above. This obviously isn't the case.
After the JellyBean update I've noticed the Wi-Fi Direct option when I try to share a file, have any of you tried it?. There's no specific section in Settings for this feature.
Sorry about my lousy english.

To go to WIFI direct go to Settings, Tap on WIFI - not on on/off button. And on buttom right you will have it. You will need device with same thing, and WIFI router or switch I think. Never tried it.
Edit: Seems that I was wrong about need of an host (router, switch),
Look.
Wi-Fi Direct, previously known as Wi-Fi P2P, is a standard that allows Wi-Fi devices to connect to each other without the need for a wireless access point.[2] This allows Wi-Fi Direct devices to directly transfer data between each other with greatly reduced setup

Again, I understand the concept but what I don't understand is the need of you being so smart-ass in every response. Of course I can use Google, but all I wanted to know if that anyone has been capable of use the the feature in THIS phone, and for what I can see you can't provide me this answer, so stop please.

224444 is being used to send text message notifications by Google to their list of different users who have opted-in to their SMS notification program. Many websites, mobile apps, and other businesses use their short codes to notify their users of current deals being offered, promotions, coupons, when tables are ready at their restaurants, password changes, and other time sensitive information related to their individual accounts. This is to keep their users informed with up to date information, give their subscribers coupons and deals, and also to verify that the user attempting to make changes to their account is the verified account owner.
Maybe at some point, you registered your phone number to one of Google services (maps, youtube, etc) and they want to keep you informed.
On the other hand, if you didn't do any of this, it may be possible that you accepted some bad cookies or notifications from surfing the internet. In that case, you can uninstall and reinstall your browser. Hope that this could give you an answer to your question ?. If not, you may have to do some researches of your own Google account security settings.
