Yep. For F and FN
I sad in main post only keep boot.img from original(stock) ROM.
Download my ROM.
Extract it.
Copy to phone.
And restore backup via TWRP.
Wait to boot complete and you can see stock Setup Wizard.
Set all and enjoy

You have folder TWRP.
Place it on phone and try to restore backup.

Same thing here downloaded 5 times and 5 times archive corrupted
Having the same problem here, trying to open it or extract ends in corrupted file, and if I repair the archive via winrar the folder TWRP becomes empty.
SORRY BECAUSE ROM FILE IS CORRUPTED(MAYBE I USE 7ZIP AND TWRP COMPRESSION).
I'VE DECIDE.
WHY DO YOU WAIT FOR ME TO FIX THIS PROBLEM!?

thanks a lot to amarullz for providing aroma installer, and thanks to nightshack0 I have taken his installer and modded to work for this patch
had you ever feel that another galaxy s variant's forum have a ics rom which suits all your need but you cannot flash it because it is not yet ported to your device but now all this will not happen again with this patch you can install which ROM you want to flash there will be no boundation for you.
this patch will let you flash other I9000 or t959 roms I have not tried it on other variant but you can try and let me know if it works, I have tried to flash a nexus s rom and it was not flashing so just flash and let me know there is no harm no soft brick no hard brick just physical button will not work until you flash this patch or another rom

CONS:- 1. you cannot get the build properties(build.prop) of the rom you are flashing instead you will get the build property which will not be related to any ics rom

the patch do not contains any file which can cause a bug and patch will only work on ics roms not gb
For further clarification read FAQ on second post
if you are getting status 7 or getprop error then a little work from your side is needed
extract the rom to a folder then go to /extracted folder/META - INF/com/Google/Android from there open updater-script and remove all getprop lines
come back to META - INF folder and delete all three files
zip the file and flash it in recovery
NOTE:- to edit updater script use jota text editor(android), notepad (windows)

update:- flashed fascinate rom by editing updater script and without resigning got it booted up but it cleared my efs folder so was not getting any network coverage, I got very depressed tried cleared data restore nandroid but nothing works then I thought about efs and with the backup I copy imei files to efs folder and after reboot I got coverage now I will not flash any fascinate rom just for testing but I can say that fascinate rom are working

Well technically vibrant can flash i9000 roms with some minor issues like key mapping, sound path and gps.
This patch seems to take care of it (in a convenient way) and since ICS kernels seem to play nice it should work for all ICS roms.

actually almost all variants but i am not sure, you can try every variants rom and write it here that working or not, so I can update the op with some info
I tried flashing this and the milestone 5 from I9000 and it did not work.

Above is the rom I downloaded. First I installed the patch. Then rebooted into recovery. Lastly I tried installing the above rom and it failed.

Did it just say like Installation Aborted in the Recovery? Or what else happened?
Did you make sure its not a bad download.
Get the .zip on PC and open it with winRAR, if its corrupted/bad download it'll give you errors, if it says nothing, its good and the patch probably needs working on.
Thats really weird too, it should've just flashed right on and even if the patch didn't work, it should've booted up and the capac. buttons would've been flipped etc. no signal (kernel) those would've been issues that are known.

I can't check the download as I have already deleted it, but I did check that it was a full download. Usually if it is a bad download, it will not be the correct mb size. And I forget exactly what it said when it failed...sorry. Has anyone else tried?

sorry but it is not the fault of patch if the rom is not flashing
the patch will just install a working kernel and keylayout files and some minor tid-bits
did you install the rom with twrp kernel which is in the patch and also patch should be flashed again after flashing the rom
I did flash the patch first. Rebooted into recovery and then tried flashing the ROM. No go. ROM flash failed. Why hasn't anyone else tried this patch? Sheesh...scaredy cats? I'm surprised I'm the only one so far...

This ROM will require you to do a clean install since there is many changes. That means format /cache /data and /system
How to install:
flash DreamW-V6.3.2.zip
flash gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip.
Reboot Phone
You will notice that the Market will be Market instead of Google play. Don't worry it will update automatically after a few minutes.
If that doesn't work open Applications -> go to All -> Click on Market -> Force stop and click on Clear data. Re-open market and then close it.
After a few minutes it should update to Google play.

Update starts without issue, but the last step appears to be updating remaining files...or something of that nature
At that point - the recovery details appear above the script, and just sits there. When I reboot system I get the Galaxy tab screen - then a blank screen, and nothing else
I was able to get back into download mode - successfully returned to stock rom(as indicated in your instructions).
I've done this three times - no luck

Could this be due to the file being broken into two zip files? There's a part 1 and part 2, and the op doesn't address how to flash like that. Do we flash both files or do we need to unzip each file, combine, and repackage for flashing?

Where because I cant find them.
Also the download is dead. Mediafire doesn't like multi part files. Why don't you put the file back together into one so it can be flashed. If you need some where to dump a single file I will let you use a spot on my dropbox.

It does look like it to me. There are even flashable ROMs of the latest 4.1.1 (P3113UECLI4)... like this [ROM][9/18][GT-P31XX][JB][4.1.1]Stock_Rooted_Deodex_Zipalign.
Isn't the version that Romswell is built from come from the U.K. version or something like that?
Could this be a U.S version? What else could change that would make this different?

Links are currently down....ALL files ARE flashable! BEFORE that, All you had to is extract the RAR archive to get the FULLY intact flashable ZIP!

U.S Version!...."Search" is your friend!
This is the most recent ROM from the HRT team developed by "KillProcess". It's fully deodexed and rooted. It does NOT include the extra features found in HRT_P7_L05L07_V2.0.

Well, not necessarily. I tried the ROM it's quite stable, smooth, runs well. It just lacks some of the features found in V2.0 of the ROM. I'm not using it as I like the V2.0 ROM. As well, I found Xposed and Gravity Box was not compatible.

As I don't speak Chinese, I use Google translate and my brain to work out what is included in the ROM. If you want, you could do the same. I find downloading from the Chinese site to be extremely slow so I uploaded to my Google drive so I could share as a favour to others in this Forum. Downloading from Google is much faster.. To the best of my knowledge, all the ROM development for this phone is occuring in China. I've not found anything in XDA. Judging from previous posts, ROMs built for the L05, L07 variants are compatible with the L10. There's allways a caertain amount of risk though, so if you are unsure don't use the ROM.

Ah yes. It's a bit difficult when everything is in Chinese isn't it? I'm assuming you are using the same ROM as me. I've been able to create English translations for this ROM. You can download the apk's from here:

You need to substitute the apk's for those in your ROM and restart your phone. I've been unable to translate the options that are accessable from the restart menu as I don't know where they are. So, as a work-around I use gravity Box for the same functions.
For all those reading this thread, please note the modified apk's are ONLY suitable for this ROM.
My phone: Ascend P7L07 Custom ROM:HRT P7-L05/L07-V3.0 B125

Thanks, can i use your apk's only for V2 or also for V3 because in V3 their are not such functions.

The apk's I uploaded are ONLY for V3.0 of the ROM. In this version you can center the clock, move the signal bar to the left, plus other tweaks. Version 2 of the ROM doesn't have these features and is based on build 121. KillProcess uploaded two versions of his ROM. Both have the same name unfortunately. Both based on build 125. One is a "clean" version which doesn't contain the tweaks. The version of the ROM I uploaded is the clean version. If you need the tweaked version you will need to download from baidu.
Perhaps though, it may be all a wasted exercise as the ROM from kangVIP seems even better. Can't wait to download and try it.

Downloading from baidu is slow. I use download accelerator manager (it's free) which seems to help with
dropouts. The file size is about 736Mb. For me, the download took about 4hrs.
I think the link will work if you paste the URL into your browser. I've attached a screenshot. As you can see the clock is centered and the signal bars are on the left.

Hmmm......I see what you mean. The link expired faster than I thought. I'll upload the ROM to my Google drive later today and post the link. Then you can compare with the KangVIP ROM. I see you're interested in that one as well. An upload for me is painfully slow. Comparable to a baidu download. It will tie up my machine for about 4hrs. All due to second rate internet infrastructure in Australia.

This ROM has the advanced settings baked into it. You'll need to substitute the apk's I uploaded previously if you want the English translation. Let me know if you have problems.

Correct. I used FX but I guess root explorer will do the trick. As long as root explorer will will allow you to mount the system directory as read/write you should have no problems. I think the file called set_immutable.list is in the ROM as well. It's redundant as the controlling binary in the boot image has been modified. I deleted it from my phone just to be on the safe side.
It would be cool if we could compine the navbar tweak from kangvip rom with HRT V3 rom advanced settings[emoji1]

Okay Guys Found Solution for updater binary error, Flash CM12 and flash Euphoria Over it.
To Install the rom
-Method 1
-- Create a file named "devname.prop"
-- put the contents as devicename=i9506/e330s/e330k and put the file in the root of your storage(not the micro sd card)
-Method 2
--download the appropriate zip file for your device and extract the content inside the root of your storage(not the micro sd card)
example - If your device is i9506,
-download i9506.zip and extract devname.prop to your storage
Install Rom
E330K users still need to install Arters kernel after installation fix will be included in next update.

Im also working on a single file to use as kernel and fix file, the file needs a file inside your phone, including arters kernel.
Can't download I get a 410 error
coming from d3 wifi problem, flashed rom with twrp, arter 7.0.1-5.1 aosp, patch v2, pico gapps 5.1.
if no gapps are flashed nfc gives force closed rebooting after few seconds and again, and again
Are you fixing these problems as we all love a new developer on xda
