How do you check your qfuse version? Also If a rom isn't compatible with the qfuse version LGUP will tell you. If it is compatible it will just flash it.

Which means prob no downgrade to zvf until we cind someone give us that qfuse version. Zv4. Was 0. Zv5 was 1. Zv6 through zva was 2. Zvb c d e f was 3 i think

ZVD is also antirollback v4, so it's fine as far back as that.

How to get the latest software update

I am using G2 VS980 originaly from VERIZON, but unlocked for international network.
PROBLEM: fail to do software update direct from the phone - always
Current system:
============
Android 4.2.2,
Baseband VS98011A-M8974A-AAAANAZM-1.0.191007
Kernel Version 3.4.0-perf-g7c2d0a2 [email protected]
Builder number: JDQ39B
Software Version: VS98011A
How could I jump quickly into Android 4.4.2 at VS98026A, the latest system for G2?
Don't think you can. There is no Kdz file of the rom yet. You could go to 24b which is kitkat. There is the Kdz of that one flying around.

for now, there is KDZ file. if you can do KDZ "download" to your phone, look here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-g2/development/dev-vs98026a-kdz-file-t2940581
and seek how-to do KDZ "download".
I did already
You need to take out your international Sim and reboot to check for the update. With me the same thing happened. It wouldn't let me check updates when a non Verizon Sim was inside

Is there a root method for Lrx22g.G920aucu2aof4 AT&T galaxy s6?

I was wondering is there a way I can root this build number?Lrx22g.G920aucu2aof4
As of right now, no. I am in the same boat as you man. OF4 and no root.
Need more interest in the ATT S 6
This is an awesome phone. I think we just need to show more interest so the devs will click one out for us. Has anyone tried to backstep the kernal yet? What happens if we just try to go back to the previous build???
Search the forum.
There's no direct root method. The only way to have root with that firmware is to have an S6 with up to OE2, root it with Ping Pong root, and then use these modified OTAs (OE2->OF3 and OF3->OF4) which preserve root. If you've already updated to OF3 or further, it's not possible to downgrade back to OE2 even with ODIN. Just did this update procedure myself last night.
Yep, really no way to downgrade or root. I got lucky and got a dud unit. Got a swap today, and lord behold OCE firmware. I got lucky, but now it's time to figure out what to do... LOL
Take the sim card out, or use package disabler to disable the at&t update utility so that at&t doesn't force an update while you're thinking.

Please help me with Lg g4 Ls991zv6 - H81520g

I bought a new Lg g4 model h81520g as shown in setting>about phone>software info. I wanted to check for update but there's no software update option, only apps update is available. so what I decided to do is to reflash the stock software to enable update option. I downloaded the kdz file "H81520g" but when I connected it to computer and ran the LGUP it shows another variant which is LS991zv6. I tried to flash the downloaded file, but it gives an error "invalid kdz. My Lg g4 comes with marshmallow on board. the stock recovery works fine, and also the download mode is fine.
my question is: should I download and flash LS991zv6? by the way, I checked my imei in imei info .com and it shows the model as LS991 sprint

Zv6 is lolipop no mm. U need to check the motherboard. Must disasmble the device and see what it says. Bit if the device is working i would leave it be. Its almost more hassle than its worth

Thats what im telling u zv6 is a lolipop firmware for sure no debate there..
Thats why i say leave it be. This is one of those if u mess up u can hard brick it. Theres not a diffrence between mm and lolipop motherboards but zv6 is a lolipop firmware. Not mm.

how to dow

Hello, I cannot downgrade to Nougat, I keep getting "Sw Rev Check Fail Device 2 Binary 1" on the phone side and ODIN simply says failed. When I try to downgrade from Oreo to Nougat. I have not been able to enable "OEM Unlock".
BTW, Sorry for incomplete title as the title bar disappears and I can only type a little bit.

What model do you have? And what firmware version were you on before trying to downgrade? Some firmwares include bootloader updates which cannot be rolled back.
I have a N950F and this is the Oreo image I succesfully flashed "BL_N950FXXU3CRC1_CL13094739_QB17155977_REV00_user_low_ship.tar"
I can flash "COMBINATION_FA71_N950FXXU3ARA5" without a problem which is 7.1.1 But I think it's the bootloader that is giving me issues and since the combination file doesn't include a bootloader (AFAIK) it goes through, but when I try to put in any bootloader from Nougat, the flash fails.
I tried flashing:
-BL_N950FXXU1AQI1_CL12007350_QB14830234_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
-BL_N950FXXU1AQHB_CL12007350_QB14652984_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
and both failed. It's important to note that I'm trying to flash the whole thing, not just the "BL" file. I just pasted the BL file name because I think it holds the information you need.
Ok thanks for providing the info. One more question, what Odin version are you using?
It is not possible to downgrade.

3.13.1
I have a similar problem. Bought my N950F in Panama but I'd like to change to Brazil's ZTO(unbranded) to be able to use Samsung Pay there.
I got Odin 3.13.1 and the ROM N950FXXU3CRDF_N950FOXM3CRE4_ZTO (latest 8.0.0) from SamMobile. When I try to flash I get the "Check Fail BOOTLOADER" message. Trying to uncheck the BL, I get another error but also not able to flash. Maybe my phone has a newer version that doesn't allow it to in theory "downgrade"?
Any solution?

@sefrcoko, I'm currently on Android 8.0.0, Baseband N950FXXU4CRG8, Build number R16NW.N950FXXU4CRGA.
I don't know if this is older or newer than the one I'm trying to flash. Is there a way to do it?
Thanks!

Hi, yes you are on the "U4" bootloader and trying to downgrade to the "U3" bootloader (look at those characters in the build numbers, that's the bootloader version). Can't downgrade from u4 to u3 though.

Downgrading the Samsung S20 Fe 4G (SM-G780F)

you can downgrade by 2 or 3 updates only on the F variant. you can only flash firmware that shares the same bootloader version number that you have now.

any guide for using Odin to flash firmware will be fine. you need to know your build number or baseband number. it'll be your model followed by some letters and numbers.
the 5th character from the end of the build number is the bootloader version number.
my build number is G781BXXU4FVI4
so my current BL version number is 4, any firmware for your phone that matches your current BL version can still be flashed.
Sammobile is about the easiest place to download older firmware but it's SLOW!!!!

yep that's it. make sure you definitely get the correct model number and also the correct CSC CODE too.
check settings / about phone / software info / service provider software version / check for 3 letters appearing 3 times here, that 3 lettered code is your csc code and you should download firmware that matches yours (although it's not earth shatteringly critical).
google for Sammobile and put in your model number and csc, you'll see what firmwares are available.
