I am on the OnePlus 3T (as you might imagine) running Open Beta 9 and blu_spark r151. This problem also occurred while I was on Open Beta 8 with Franco Kernel r23. I'm not sure if this makes any difference, but I only seem to encounter this problem while streaming Netflix. This problem is intermittent and seemingly unpredictable. Sometimes this error will occur a few times within ~10 minutes, sometimes it is as long as a few hours before it occurs again. Toggling Hotspot off and on again does resolve the problem, but only temporarily. I will attach the log I took to capture this error. I stopped the log as soon as I noticed the error, so in the log I think the error should be captured around 16:30. Please let me know if I need to include any additional information. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I'm really stumped here. I haven't been able to find any solution to this issue through searching, so I figure I might as well post something about it.
For the past few months, I've been having an issue with my watch screen turning itself on then dimming after a few seconds. This seems to occur every few minutes or so even when theater mode is enabled and when always on screen and wrist gestures are disabled. This issue persists even after unpairing with my LG G4 and after a factory reset (on both the watch and phone). It should also be worth noting that I have recently rolled my phone back from the latest VZW Marshmallow OTA to a rooted 5.1 image in an attempt to resolve the aforementioned problem, but from what I can tell, it has only become worse.
From what I've been able to gather from battery/wakelock monitoring apps and bug reports is that the phone is regularly sending wake requests at semi-regular intervals. I have not installed any third-party wear apps and I've disabled pretty much every Google sync function but the problem persists.
I am at wits end here as to what I can do here. This coupled with my phone suddenly developing a severe wakelock problem has made me seriously consider switching to another manufacturer, and this time I may not exclude Apple as a choice.
Has anyone else experienced an issue like this that might have some insight as to what's going on?
Thanks!
PS: If needed, I can provide the full bug report along with a quick spreadsheet I made to organize the kernel wake source info found in the report.
Hello,
there is this strange issue I am facing at the moment:
When I boot up my phone, there is internet, I can browse via Chrome, I can fetch mails and everything.
But after 10 seconds, 99% of my connectivity is gone. Chrome says, "Oh no! there is a problem with the website" I am trying to visit (every website). Tugabrowser force-closes then, Aqua-Mail tells me the SSL-Certificate is invalid, Youtube just closes without any error. I can search for apps in the PlayStore and see results, but cannot download anything.
It doesn't matter if I try it using the LTE-connection of my phone or using WiFi.
When I reboot the phone, it works completely for the first 10 seconds and then I get the same problems.
To complete the strangeness: WhatsApp and Spotify work every time (I mean even after those 10 seconds, when everything else stopped working).
Help is highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards
Hecke
I have a WW model still on version WW_16.0631.1910.64 (rooted). Currently having a few oddities and wondering if an update might help?
Some of the things I’m noticing:
System Ui randomly stops working.
Phone calls and text messages dont come through, I have to reconnect via toggling airplane mode every 30ish min to ensure they come through.
A recent reboot has me in a extremely slow and unusable state where I had to reboot again.
I see some posts about people updating to 10 and they had battery issues, is this something that everyone seems to experience? If I give updating a shot, how would I update and keep my root/data?
Good day everyone, I'm having a really frustrating problem since I got my phone a month ago. I hope I can get some help here.
From day 1 I've had issues with network on my WiFi. No issues connecting to it, no issues using the internet, let me explain. I first noticed it on MIUI Themes. That was the first thing I went into after setting up my phone. It kept saying "can't connect to network". I figured it was a bug and will be fixed in the 12.5 update (spoiler alert: it didn't). Then I started to notice during setting up of my accounts, discord, reddit, etc. that the login was incredible slow the first time. It would just keep loading when I hit next. Not long after, I downloaded a game and it refused to update saying "can't connect to server". I had to start the process with my data then switch back to WiFi. For clarity, once I'm in the game itself there's no issues, the stability never drops, I never lag, etc.
It became truly evident it wasn't isolated incidents when I would open one of my online shopping apps. It loads the main screen instantly but when I switch the tab to see notifications, the page would load but the notifications would take up to 30 seconds to load. If I clicked on it, the next page would take another 30 seconds to load. Since I've used this app on my previous phone/ipad on the same WiFi I could tell there was something wrong. It should be instant. I opened up MI Community app and I kid you not, it must have taken me 10 - 15 minutes to create an account with all the loading/lag. Every single time I open the app, it takes at least 40 seconds to a minute to load with other pages lagging as well.
I started this long process of trying everything I could find that talks about it which was not much and usually about older phones. I tried everything I could find except factory reset (some have said it doesn't fix it after trying it themselves). I tried all the WiFi adjustments, traffic mode, off private DNS, developer mode options, and obviously reset networks/router/reboot multiple times.
After spending a couple of hours trying to find every mention of this whether it's Youtube, websites or Reddit and trying them (I would switch them back to default after testing the suggestions as they didn't work), my PC started giving WiFi problems. It NEVER gives problems but I figured maybe it was due to the turning on/off router multiple times. I was so frustrated, I was like, screw this I'm done.
I restarted my PC and switched to my PS4 (which runs on the same WiFi with no issues ever in 3 years). As my PS4 booted up, I picked up my phone to check the delivery status on my shopping app and BAAM! For the first time since I downloaded the app, my notifications appeared instantly like it should, the next page loaded immediately. I was like, hold up... I went into MI Community app and BOOM! it loaded immediately, I was shook. One final test, MIUI Themes that has never worked properly since day 1 with its constant "can't connect to network". BLAAM! Every page, instant, clean sweet speed. It felt like a whole new phone, like the new phone that I was supposed to feel all along.
I enjoyed a good 6 hours of bliss, constantly checking my shopping status just as an excuse to enjoy witnessing the speed. He giveth and then he taketh away and as luck would have it, there was a power outage midday. When the power was back on and the WiFi was up, we were back to the suffering. I tried to restart my PC as that was the key trigger and it worked for about a minute and then was the end of it. No amount of shutting down / restarting PC/router fixed it again.
There's something blocking the connection between my router and phone I believe. I figured the initial restart PC fix stopped the connection to the PC and gave the priority to my phone, if you will. That's rubbish I know because my WiFi runs on 4 other devices and never lags.
I'm no tech expert, in fact, I'm the opposite of that, it's embarrassing. I hope y'all can see something I'm unaware of and guide me. I'm certain the phone isn't defective and my WiFi is fine on every other device not to mention it ran flawlessly for 6 hours while other devices were also using the same WiFi.
If you've read this far, thank you very much. I apologize the post is very long, I wanted to get everything in so it paints a clear picture of the issue. I'll add a TLDR just incase.
TLDR: WiFi issues from day 1 in 2/3 of apps mostly with initial connections. 1 month later a chance restart of my PC fixed it. Power outage later that day, problem returned.

Anyone else experiencing GPS issues on the S23?
Sometimes it will work fine for a day, sometimes for a couple of hours. Then it stops.
Occasionally rebooting resolves the issue, but generally it doesn't. Yesterday I restarted and/or turned off/on 5 times without resolving. Some hours later, it just starts working again.
Looking at nmea loggers and GPS Test app, when it stops it either shows no data at all, or sometimes shows signal from just one or two and never finds any more so can't get position lock (other than network based). My old S20 right next to it will show 18-20 satellites at the same time and never faults.
I submitted a fault to Samsung. They said the uploaded system log showed nothing coming from GPS (fault was currently being exhibited) and phone will need to go back. This isn't always the case however, as sometimes it works OK.
Is there anything I can try before I send it off?
Have others had similar issues?
Try restarting in emergency mode (SOS) and do your tests.
If I were you, I would factory reset or even install firmware with Odin just to make sure everything is OK.
Send to Samsung is the last attempt.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give them a go and see what happens.
Calibrate your GPS in google maps. Tap your location and it had you move your phone around to increase its accuracy.
