Which Lineage Rom? - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

I'm just looking for opinions. I like customization a lot. I'm running the weekly one now and I'm getting amazing battery life so that's why I want to stay on this version. I'm just looking to see what the difference is in them. Thanks.

Mind sharing your setup ? I am on RR with greenify, Magisk and some services disabled by My android tools.

10 hours? Please do your math .
7% from 18 hours (11 hours ago and 7 hours left) = 75,6 minutes SOT (Sreen ON Time).

Oh sorry I didn't know how to tell. That's why I sent the screen shot.

Wow! More than 10 hrs SOT! I barely last not more than 6 ! Maybe that is because i always use my device with some intensive work that includes watching high res videos, playing online mobile games. That being said, i am using 2 Sim Cards, both using 4G connection...
ROM : RR Official 22_6_2017
kernel : Blu_Spark r151
I highly recommended u to use this ROM due to very high customization possibilities
The ROM is based on LineAgeOS

Based on the threads i was going through of Nexus 6P users, and Nougat has made the battery life terrible. Some people are saying battery life is great, but this issue is one of the most star rated issue on Android Bug Tracker. Check on google, you'll get the whole story.

Yea we will have to see!
Android 7.1 is ready and waiting to get released with the pixel phones, that version fixes battery and other bugs i think
I have 7.0 on my Nexus 6 and to be fair not very impressed with the new battery life, struggling to get nearly 4 hrs of light/medium usage.

Did you use any apps? There isn't even a single app showing up above 5%. You will ALWAYS get long screen on times with barely any heavy app usage.

Just normal usage man. Lots of Reddit (Relay), a bit of music (Google Play Music), texting, calling, etc.
I'm slightly underclocked using Boefla kernel with some tweaks and tuneables of my own. I don't game on my phone. I regularly get 6+ hours of SOT. My setup (for some reason) is so perfect right now that I refuse to update the kernel and/or Rom until I'm missing out on some very big changes.
Attached is my kernel and Rom version. (I believe rom is stock 3.2.6)

Best Battery life till date On Oreo ??

On the 3rd leaked version of the OOS5.0 I am getting 7+hr screen on time with gaming and social networking really appreciate this work from the OnePlus team .
I am looking forward for the Stable release of Oreo For OnePlus 5 in which PIP mode works for all the supported apps and Have a facial unlock feature with a great battery improvement.

2nd leaked build.Trust me,it is better than the 1st leaked/open beta and the third leak as well.3rd leak seems to have some SIM card and wakelock issues and no face unlock.
Edit:Seems that the images aren't visible.I got 10 hr SoT btw.I'll try to replace the images ASAP

Which is better 2nd build or 3rd excluding face unlock feature
I got 10 h pretty hard usage for me, I had 6 h sot with op3, I think you should check your application if you got less than 8-10 h, maybe something is working all time in background and because of that you have sound wakelock etc. there is many options, use any wakelock detector to check it
I got almost 9h SoT in 2 days and 10h since last charge, with the open beta 1. That was the best SoT I ever had, specially with so much standby time.

Better Gaming does not goes in hand with Battery life
Anyways, speaking in performance terms only, none of the Oreo roms atm since they are a bit slower than Nougat roms for some reason, probably aospa is good for gaming
Stay clear of oreo roms. Los nougat is the oly decent one for gaming. I don't know if any other nougat roms get you better performance but oreo roms definitely don't
i have tried many roms,, but for mi5 (mine is prime 3/32), i use viper os nougat + soda kernel b1.2.1 or you can use RR nougat too with soda b1.2.1 too,, it can handle many games.

Best Battery Life ROM for Mi Max 2

Hi, i see a lot of ROM in the rom section for XDA, and I am currently on MIUI 9, and the battery life on this phone have significantly downgraded, does anyone have a reason for this? This phone can only last one day, whereas before it was able to last two days constantly. Majority of the consumption is via Google play services and the Google play store, and I have tried many attempts to fix this drain but failed miserably. So, I was wondering if any can recommend be a battery efficent ROM with everything working, bug-free and would also like to use Magisk, I just web browse and play videos, nothing too taxing on the CPU or GPU, so I don't need a high performance ROM. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
the best ROM for battery life is xuefer LOS 14.1 based on Android 7.1.2, hands down and very stable as well, have used it for half a year as a daily driver. just of course be aware thats it "only" Nougat, not Oreo, and LOS has not as many customization options as other custom ROMs out there.

be sure to:
- limit screen brightness to minimum levels you need
- switch off any and all sensors you dont need (wifi, mobile data when on wifi, gps, bluetooth, etc.)
- optimize cpu/gpu/IO governors, clocks, schedulers to your needs
- set app permissions and restrictions for each individual app to your specific needs
i know this is a lot of work, i do it myself every time i installed a new rom. but u only do it once and then u can enjoy maximum battery life i averaged around 18 hours SOT on xuefer, with MSM Oreo and now on ArrowOS Pie im getting around 16h SOT on average.

Best battery performance Rom (2 year usage)

Hi, I use mi 5 nearly 2 year. I'm heavy user first 6 month but now i use my phone for basic things. 9gag, Instagram, WhatsApp etc. not gaming. And I have max 1,5 hour screen on time. I need some tip. Want to down clock my cpu or battery performance Rom. Any advice?

I had a similar problem, replace your battery. I bought a NOHON battery on Aliexpress and have had no problems for 2-3 months now. It regularly gets 4-4.5hrs SoT on JDC Nougat Revived.
