Why would anyone sell a Samsung S7 which has better screen, better camera, better battery life for OP 3? I own one and it's not that good
Cause.
#neversettle
Better deal/performance? Too single out post is hardly proof of dodgy postings generally?

Because
1. lack of soc sources.
2. lower price and if not same even better performance.
3. and more then 1080p is overkill
4. faster charging.
I would do the same.
And you can sell a s7 and buy op3 + a real high end camera. Op3 is still the best phone. No matter what media is telling you. But its still up to you.

well then let me clarify.
didnt sell it, gave it to my wife, so it's still around. i love the S7. my S7 was the dual sim version. i couldn't stand the 2g on the 2nd sim. when i saw that the OP3 had dual sim capabilities, with 3g on one and lte on the other, i made the jump.
so, my ovations arent baseless.

like i said on that same thread.... S7 and S7e have better hardware (camera, wireless fast charging, QC3.0, QHD screen, etc) but the software sucks (which affects performance). Dev scene is also terrible.

did this myself a few years ago, when I got the OnePlus One + a Sony RX100 on sale which in total was still less than a 64GB Samsung Flagship
SW after-processing (ie, HDR) and better sensors make a big difference, but you're still never going to replicate the performance of a REAL quality camera, even if it's a point and shoot.

Can't comment on above case, but some of us feel uneasy having so much money invested in a phone when a very close competitor is half the price. In my case my contract was up for renewal got a HTC 10, ebayed it for £450 bought a OnePlus3 pocketed over £100.
And Touchwiz.

I literally just did exactly this. I actually still have the S7, but just threw it up on craigslist this morning. For me, I found the S7's performance and battery life to be extremely subpar. When I first got it the phone was lightning fast, but over time EVERY part of the user experience developed lag. Factory resets did nothing, deleting apps did nothing. Maybe I got a lemon, but it was terrible by the end. By contrast, the OP3 is very fast and battery life seems to be about on par. The faster charging is nice.
I will say though, the screen and camera are far superior on the S7. It's not even close. But I shoot professionally with my DSLR, so a phone's camera is of little consequence to me. And while it's not as good, the OP3 1080P screen is beyond acceptable. Also, the benefit of running stock android cannot be overstated. It is a world better than the Samsung skinned variant.
All feature differences aside. I bought both phones on craigslist over the last few months. S7 was $450, OP3 was $300. I've already gotten offers on my S7 for $400 with it being up only a few hours. I'll gladly pocket the $100+ difference and live with the OP3, for now.

As far as I remember I never created a thread to tell other forum members my product was better than theirs. This thread is kinda funny, isn't it? I would never buy a Samsung device like I would never buy any Apple products. For me the OnePlus 3 is the best available phone. It's modding- and community-friendly and comes with a powerfull hardware at a fair price. I'm not willed to pay for company's million-dollar marketing campaigns.
i used a galaxy s7 edge extensively and its the best camera phone out there. but when it comes to the whole package its sucks ball. to me the build quality is zero its pathetic, cant find a single protector here where i live that wont come off after 2 days. phone is unusable without something on the back. coz its silpery as hell. the worst part is the software. touchwiz is the worst skin ever in the history of android. these reviewer who say the new touchwiz is fast and responsive. r not using the fone as daily drivers. its lag fest for me. also the clicking home button sounds like it will break any sec.
the only reason i bought the one plus 3 was the performance. i m getting that too its not perfect but its million times better then what samsung galaxy s7 edge offered to me. i payed over 530 dollers here to buy a oneplus 3. and i m happy about my purchase.
thanks
death to all glass back phones,p
Happy OnePlus devices user for 27 months, spreading around the word that you can only spend 399 for a great phone!!
I actually think more people and reviewers get payed by Samsung or Apple to praise their overpriced junk.
Maybe topicstarter got paid to stir the pot in the OnePlus section to praise the Samsung products..
everyone is saying that s7 edge is better, i dont know why and how, but i can take better photos with my OP3... i tried many times but my OP3 take better photos than my brother's S7e. just video recording is much better on S7e...
the performance is better. the software support is better. the selfie camera is better. the charging speed is faster. the price is lower... So OP3 > S7E
I actually moved from the s7 edge to the op3, only the camera's quality* speed and sound is better than the op3.

I sold my LG G5 and bought Oneplus 3.
The Lg was lacking developement and support so badly. And I haven't regret my decicion at all!
Only thing I miss is the sdcard.
Since it seems perfectly clear that some people are more than willing to swap an S7 for a OP3, can we close this thread? It's nothing but a witch hunt where one doesn't need to exist.
I have both S7E destroys it in pretty much every department but fast charging, Since OP3 battery life sucks you need it haha
Everything else > this thread. Coming from the Nexus 6 here. I have to say that the OP3 is a solid phone for the price. You can't really get much more for the same price. 6gb ram, 64 gb storage, dual sim, extremely fast charging. Yeah the battery life could be better, and the sim tray could be a hybrid type tray for microsd cards like the Axon, the screen could be a higher res. Other than that its a great phone. It has solid specs, and an unlockable bootloader, two things that make a device highly favored by XDA goers.
If someone wants to buy me another phone to put it to the test I'd be happy to take them up on the offer (;
nothing good can come from this thread.
Thread closed.
So I made an expensive mistake, thinking that I could live with a locked down device and grabbed a Pixel XL through VZW and I've reached a point where my inner flashaholic is screaming for his fix. I am considering other devices and am curious if there is anybody here with a 3T that had previously had one of the Pixels, and their personal opinions on how each device stacked up against each other.
I haven't got a Pixel, but I've used it extensively through work (I'm a web developer, so we used various devices for testing websites with).
The camera is much better on the Pixel, but otherwise the OP3T is just simply better. More RAM, same CPU, more storage (at least, cheaper) which is as-fast, same GPU. Overall better performance (as seen in benchmarks). And, it's unlockable and customisable. It's also brick proof (software brick, not house brick!). So is the PIxel, but your VZW is locked down as you know.
I just traded my pixel XL for a 3t a few hours ago. Time will tell. Will come back to update possibly. Camera is absolutely noticable.
Returned my Pixel for a 3T, too. IMO, the blazingly fast 3T is superior in every way except camera. All I want in a phone camera is for it to take good still shots. Couldn't care less for all the advanced crap. 3T's camera is good enough for me. A 1440p screen would be nice, but 1080p works. I also use an iPhone 7+, so am used to the screen size/pixel density.

It makes me wish the camera had the same tech as the flagships because i wouldn't upgrade my phone for anything. I have a feeling oneplus will start making flagships not flagship killers though because lets face it the 3t is like 90% there already. The should release a 5T and 5B (budget), T for people like me who want the best available but don't want to go to samsung, and the B for people who just love the drastically cheaper price and quality phone which is also me .
See it's funny as I was looking to go the other way. Get a Pixel as I tend to change my phone every six months or so. I loved having the pure Android phones with the latest OS.
Are the Pixels difficult to unlock and root? I assumed they'd be as easy as OP3T. I think sometimes I forget how decent the OP3T is! Ian already thinking of getting the Xiaomi mi6 plus until the OP4/5 is released.
The 1080 pentile display on the 3T kills me, I hate it. Apart from that and the poor camera it's better than the Pixel.
Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
The display on the 3T is fine and pentile isn't an issue at all. Also 1080p is just fine and looks sharp. High res screens on phones look silly and are barely noticeable. They also consume more resources to run.

Honestly, it's a pain. TWRP is not reliable. There are a few versions but none can do backups or restore. Basically when something happens you need to plug it in and ADB and/or fastboot. Both SU and magisk (unofficial only) can also get aggravating.
OT while the 3T is fast and is great in many ways. I decided to list mine this week. The camera can get rough as I have a nearly full blurry album from the other night.
Thinking about waiting a month or 2 or diving straight to the Mate 9, still undecided.

My OP3T is now on EBay. I was gonna hop to Xiaomi Mi6, but there doesn't look like a plus version now - and I don't want 5.15", so maybe not. Perhaps the OP5?
I would like to try something else. Huawei seems kinda expensive for what it is.

Eh, Mate 9 on swappa. I have seen as low as 450ish. I see it as a potential trade for the 3t is around the same rate.

I wouldn't hold my breath for OP5. My bet is that OP5 shipments will be a nightmare. Way worse than previous shipment issues of OnePlus devices. Leaks are saying that OP5 will come with Snapdragon 835. Samsung already reserved the first batches of 835 making even traditional OEMs to have hard times to get their hands on new SoC.

Eh who knows. 835 supply should be fine during the summer. You have so many flagships waiting. You have to keep in mind the demand could only be for so long.

I'll take it back - the Huawei phones for what you get is a lot more powerful than what is out there. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is particularly good value stacked against the Pixel/Samsung S8 or iPhone 7 Plus.
However, bang for your buck the Honor 8 Pro/V9 seems to be very good value for money.
Ill start by saying I love my oneplus 3 (not 3t). I am holding out getting the oneplus 5 because of it. The 3 has literally everything I want. The only downfalls are camera and now not having 8 gb of ram and a sd835. In all honesty though this phone is still competitive a year later minus the camera. When the one plus 5 came out I said I would upgrade if the price and camera are good. If they weren't I would keep my oneplus 3 and buy a zerolemon battery case for it (because I love it too much for the battery to last). Now that I see the camera is not good and the price higher I am keeping it. My screen has ZERO scratches. The battery will still get me through a full day of moderate/light use. The body is near flawless. And most importantly the hardware is still fast. I feel stupid for wanting the newest oneplus phone just because it was new. Does anybody else feel the same?

I too am completely satisfied with my OP3.
See no reason to upgrade to the latest OnePlus.
I am honestly disappointed with the OP5 though.
I'm here with ya. Keeping this beast for a long time to come, probably 2 more years.

Came from a Honor 5X, it was so slow even though it had 2GB of ram.. I usually spend 100 euro each year on a phone so that means I have 3 more years to go! Let's see if Oneplus still exists after 3 years and if they aren't making €1000 phones... Until then VertexOS with Render Kernel will suit me well
Yeah I'm with you guys on this one. If you'd of asked me 6 months ago if I would be upgrading I would of said without question, but now that the 5 is here and I can actually compare the 2 devices, I see little incentive to upgrade. Sure the 5 has sightly better specs but are they $500 better? No, not to me. I'm pretty disappointed with what they did or rather didn't do with the 5 series... No screen upgrade ( VR compliant resolution) , no sdcard slot (this a big disappointment), no stereo speakers (or even front facing, as gaming inevitably covers the down-fire with hand), no 3.0 USB type C (on a device now sporting 4k cam, really? so you have to offload at 2.0 speeds... wow) , and no earth moving styling changes ether.
All that adds up to the 3 maintaining its bang for the buck , and likely will for some time to come.
I've grown quite attached to my 3, we've been through some crazy rough times together. and I've learned soo much from it in the process. On day 2 after purchasing I bricked it and thought I'd killed it. And at 3a.m not a lot of people on xda to assist so that was a rollercoster of emotion to the next morning when someone piped up and showed me the recovery tool for bricked devices.
Then on month 3 I accidentally slammed it down on the sidewalk attempting to remove my arm from a stubborn winter coat and shattered the screen. A phone call later informed me the repair shop wanted $250 to replace it! So yeah, now I know how to DIY a OP3 screen replacement, including reglueing the glass onto the new $100 replacement screen (and let me tell ya, not fun) but I did it and it came out flawless).
Here's the proof
https://goo.gl/photos/9TLcayW5oxqDammY8
So in short, they'll have to do much better then they did to entice me into abandoning my amazingly tough and resilient oneplus 3.
Me too seems keep op3. Do not think 500 eur upgrade worth it to swap for op5. You guys think camera are bad? Take old nokia and take photo, there is bad camera for sure, so smile and have fun with op3
I thought OnePlus 5 will have a better camera, + 835, ram. I keep my 1+3, too.
I've had my OP3 since August and it's still going strong. It's rooted and running ExperienceOS R10.0. I have no intention of upgrading anytime soon.
I honestly feel like the jump from OnePlus 3(T) to the OnePlus 5 isn't really a big jump. I see it as some minor changes over the OnePlus 3(T), it may be there introduce new users to the OnePlus space because it's full on marketing on camera (even though the camera is not well received anyway). I'll wait for what OnePlus have to offer on the 6 (and I hope it's not a "shiny brand new camera" again *sigh*).
There seems to be a lot of persons here that are satisfied with their 1+3/T. I've had my 1+3 almost a year now and I am very comfortable with it.(felt cheated when they released the 1+3T thought lol.) Even before hearing about the 5 I had already decided not to buy another phone, probably next year if the 6 is worth the upgrade. Yes the camera isn't the best but it gets the job done. The battery still last a full day after so many months of gaming (online/offline) Bluetooth headphones plus a gear fit 2 which means BT is on 24/7. The support is great i like switching between roms OOS, HYDROGEN OS, MIUI, Flyme and several AOSP based roms. Its going to be a hard task to replace this phone. Good job OnePlus.
So many good stories. Haha. At least I am not the only one that feels this way. I hope one plus looks at these forums and sees how people really feel.
i'm happy with my OP3. I hope they still doin oxygenos updates for it. if not i start using custom roms, but im too lazy to search for a way to remove the dm verity everytime i update the rom. but we will see what comes in the future.
You're right because these phones are built to last for 2-3 years. I still have it working daily an it hasn't shown a single sign of age. It still delivers the promised battery life, charging rate, and performance too. I'd consider changing it for the oneplus 5 if it had the resale price it deserves because its still better than the cheaper phones. Also the oneplus 5 looks a lot like iphone 7+. That's a minor thing but then again they have changed the hardware but it doesn't matter what's under the hood to laymen; what matters is how it performs. In my opinion the oneplus 3 is quite good compared to the 5.

can you tell me, based on your experience which rom you find the best?
I am with you. I initially ordered the Oneplus 5 but now will send it back, because there is nothing that justifies the money for the new device. I mean sure you got a little bit more power and more battery, but I don´t see that this is worth the 300€ (could have sold Oneplus 3 for 280€) spent for the new phone. The only thing I will really miss is the new design. I ****ing loved the new design and the haptics of it, but I also love the design of the OP3. So OP3 will still be my daily device for at least one or two more years
Agreed!
I didn't like the design of the phone it looks like something I hate
not worth for 500$ there are no major differences
820 doin the Job and the cam is not bad
Battery life still fine even after a long time
keeping mine till end of this year or maybe longer.
why?
because the 3 satisfies my need for everyday use. kinda no disappointments. been with custom roms for a while but now im sticking to the official stock with root. as long as the phone gives me good battery life away from home then im good. plays music from my wired earphones, browses the web and can call and send text msgs then im totally good with it. no need for the oneplus 5 although it looks good but im tired answering people what phone im using. lol
I am looking for new phone from past 4 days and I am not able to find better option than this K20 Pro, due to sd855 present in it. For the price it's available right now I couldn't find another. My main priorities are:-
1) it should handle game fluently
2)good rear cameras (not for printing photos but uploading on instagram)
3)have a good community for custom rom development (this phone have that)
4)have decent battery backup as i am not going to game whole day but yeah approx. 2hrs game session
5)last but very important for me a HEADPHONE jack is a must thing.
I wanna ask is that, is it worth to buy this phone even when its 1year old. Also, I wanna know if there is an alternative to this phone or should I go with it without having any thought.
Earlier I considered realme x3 pro(due to sd855+ but there was no headphone jack, no custom roms) and ONeplus nord( i think it's overpriced and without headphone jack).
I am gonna use new phone for atleast 2yrs, so what are your thought about this phone? is it worth to buy or to wait to for another flagship killer(which is very hard to see in near future)?

Don't think too much now, go for it. I had similar questions before buy it, but for me they were: no notch, fm radio, jack, custom roms, a fair battery (4000 is the minimum). I didn't care too much about the cpu but this one is a beast. The cameras are just fine since I'm not a photographer. The only con for me is not having an external sd card. The biggest pro for me is not having to look at a f#cking hole or notch. We already have an aosp 11 rom if you need it & we'll probably have some more android os versions. This phone is worth to buy & if you ask, I would bought it again without think twice.
I kind of regret it. There's noting really wrong with the phone, it just leaves a lot to be desired.
-The screen is very small and narrow & the bezel is quite large for a modern phone.
-Battery life is pretty good, but not great.
-The screen quality/resolution is not good. I find it quite distracting, although you get used to it somewhat.
-The back camera is not good compared to other devices.
-There might be no more support for Xiaomi. Meaning we may never get Android 11 for the device. As we've technically had our 2 updates. Which is pretty bs.
The screen size of the Pocofone F2 or the Mi 10 Ultra is where I'd probably put my money.

First time I've heard of a 6.4" screen described as too small???
The aspect ratio is identical to almost all current phones, so it's certainly not narrow compared to anything else. The resolution of FHD+ is absolutely fine. The human eye cannot distinguish higher resolutions, at typical reading distances. This is why going to QHD is pointless and a waste of money.
Currently almost all phones with the SD865 and SD865+ have jumped in price by quite a margin over the previous SD855 phones. So this phone still represents very good value for money. It's certainly better value than the current SD7xx midrange phones, that are similar in price.
However the K30 Pro/POCO F2 Pro came with only a reasonably small increase in price, so is not much more expensive and is probably the best value SD865 phone currently available. This would be my choice if I was buying a 'budget flagship' today. If this is stretching the budget too much, then this (K20 Pro/Mi 9T Pro) phone is definitely still worth buying.

Sorry to sound rude, but what the f*** are you talking about?? small screen??? quality not good??? Bro its 6.4" 1080p Super AMOLED panel! And android 11 is confirmed for this phone and we got 1 update to android 10 not 2. Do you even know what you are talking about??
I would absolutely recommend buying this phone.

This is why going to QHD is pointless and a waste of money.

yes dude I agree with you K30 Pro came with reasonably small price increase, but it's not available in India. If it was launched here I would definitely go for K30 Pro, that is why I was considering this K20 Pro. Well thanks for the help bro I got my answer. Going to get this phone on upcoming sales with exchange and bank offers.

yeah 6.4 is sufficient for me, and now I have decided, I am gonna buy this phone in exchange of my very old Moto G turbo. Thanks a lot bro for giving advice about this device

worth considering you points bro that you told, but I think it's gonna a huge upgrade for me as I will be switching from my Samsung Galaxy S7. May be screen quality will not be that good compared to samsung, but I currently I use my device on 720p to reduce battery drain.:good:
bro can you tell how are the pictures captured with google camera mod is? (compared to stock camera)

What you are talking about are phones from 2025. The K20P/Mi 9T Pro is an amazing phone. The screen is actually quite large, but not oversized (the phone's dimensions are about as equal to the OnePlus 3). The bezels are thin enough to not be annoying, but not too thin for you to accidentally press the screen while holding it (looking at you, Samsung phones with edge display. Even though there's a rejection algorithm in place to solve this).
The battery life is decent with 4Ah, but we already see that the next-gen phones have a capacity of 4.5Ah to 5Ah. 4Ah is still enough to last a day, the problem I face with MIUI is that idle drain is a lot.
The 1080x2340 screen is pretty good, especially in terms of PPI (I mean, you shouldn't complain if you compare this to your desktop monitor, laptop, or television). Color space is also pretty good with D3 color space when you use the "warm" preset.
The main rear camera is superior (IMX586) and gcam modders are busy with unlocking the full potential of the sensor by modifying the driver.
The only thing you are correct about is the support from Xiaomi (or should I say, Xiaomeme), with not only lack of updates, but lack of security updates. The latest MIUI 12 EEA v12.0.2.0 rom came with a 1-month outdated security patch. It's a shame to see that they simply don't care about their flagship phones, or they have too many devices and rom variants to maintain, so they rather focus on the China beta roms and push completed changes over to stable Global, EEA, CN, RU and IN.
If you have no issues with MIUI (MIUI 12 is actually pretty good, I prefer it over stock android, because of the split notifications), I'd suggest staying on it till Xiaomi decides to end the support and then switch to a custom rom.
Go for it, good phone overall no notch and cheap.
I got my Mclaren 7t Pro almost 3 years ago. Battery life isn't what it used to be, but otherwise it's been a really good workhorse for me.
Been eyeing the new round of phones and nothing seems to really jump out at me. I looked at the Galaxy S22 Ultra, but that thing is huge. All of the demo Pixel 6 Pro's I tried had various problems and the 10t just... doesn't seem much of an upgrade on paper to my 7t Pro.
with the 10t, I'd be losing 4gb of RAM and getting a better camera and better screen. Processing seems roughly the same, although a new Snapdragon might be quicker than my older.
Any thoughts? is it worth upgrading or wait and push off for the 12gb RAM model?
I came from the oneplus 8 pro (which also had 12gb ram). The oneplus 10 pro isnt an upgrade, its the same phone.
Feels like it anyways.. I'd have stayed with the oneplus 8 pro except my screen was completely destroyed and so was the camera from a far drop.
It depends what you want from a phone I guess.
Coming from the 8 pro, there's a lot of comparable parts, for example the screen, the audio, even the cameras to some degree.
But there are some huge improvements.
The cameras: for example in videos, the stabilisation is phenomenal, and zooming it's more akin to a TV camera, the fluidity and smoothness is definitely something new, it's a joy to use. Tbh as are the cameras, no macro though which sucks but that's life.
Charging: this is something to behold, you can literally see the percentage increase, half an hour and you're at 100%, it's insanely fast.
SOC: performance is a massive bump over the 8 pro so will be even bigger over the 7 series, PlayStation 2 games run at a full 60fps which is staggering really.
Battery: 5000Mah my first couple of charges 11 hours and 10 hours SOT, amazing tbh.
Software: very mixed bag android 12, there are things to like but for me I need a custom ROM which are being worked on as we speak.
Looks:. Great looking, non fingerprint shiny surface, looks brilliant, nice and heavy too. Feels high quality.
Overall comparing to my last phone. The 8 pro, you need to understand that the 8 pro was a stellar phone. It stood out amongst the other 8 series devices. Was the best of the bunch but honestly besides the lack of a macro camera, I can safely say every department has improved.
With that in mind would it be an upgrade over the McLaren 7? Yes I think it would be. Performance, battery, looks and features.
Is it going to reinvent the wheel? No but Moore's law is dead on phones, you aren't getting twice as much any more, but to say it's not a worthy upgrade if you're due for one and have any other OnePlus phone would be untrue, even people with the 9 or 9 pro would be missing features that are only present on the 10 pro.
That's my opinion anyway.

I wish I could agree, but I'm just speaking from an average consumer. You are definitely a Power user
This phone seems just as smooth. The camera is currently worse (Just because I was running a gcam port. But that will definitely be fixed once I have time to find a good gcam port!
I guess I should rephrase what I had said. If you aren't looking to game and you're just an average user, you'll notice no difference. They lowered the ram for US model(for whatever reason, I was kind kind of upset about that too)
One DOWNFALL is definitely the lack of MEMC. That 120hz upscaling was HUGE for me. Especially when it was the only reason I would have considered staying on OOS.

Give that a whirl
Definitely clearer stills.. no slow Mo but for stills it's got better software, I think OOS android 12 is actually still in beta, sounds like a joke but I think it is.
Hopefully it'll improve, until then it's pro mode for me.

OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Review
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is a wickedly powerful Android phone which falls just short of the Galaxy S20 series on performance, for considerably less coin.

Bro, THANK YOU.
Took a couple little bs pictures and its SO much better. Even without using one of those config files that will inevitably come out. You are just a wealth of knowledge!
I don't have telegram, but I'll make one when I get home just because of that group. Is the rom posted yet or is it in development?

I'm sure there will be more versions soon, bit of a slow burner compared to the 8 series, but it'll come good I reckon.
No ROM as yet. OnePlus hasn't released correct driver's or something so they're working in the device tree.
I don't pretend to understand it all but it's in the post I reckon... For me Evo X was the best ROM on the 8 and probably for all the devices I've had so if it's anything like that I'm sure we'll be happy
thanks for the conversation everyone. I decided to take the plunge, ordered it through Best buy for the $100 giftcard.
I was tempted to pick up a "global" 12gb version on amazon for a little more cash. but, decided to stick with what's "actually" available to me in the US.
Any recommended cases or accessories?

You're a little late to get the buds for free, the promotion ended on the 12th April... But having used them now for a little while I can wholeheartedly recommend them, I honestly can't fault them, the noise cancellation is actually quite spooky, I'm not an audiophile so I may be just witnessing this for the first time myself but it's quite amazing IMHO.
The 8GB version I have myself, your battery will thank you for this and if you do end up rooting and get a custom ROM on there you can use a pixel type ROM which will enable unlimited back up of photos so the 128GB storage won't be an issue.
Cases I've not tried but you've got one in the box that I'm using myself, nice and slim and the phone comes with a screen protector already fitted which works as expected. Plus you've got victus gorilla glass on there.
I'd I wanted strength for drops then a ringke would do the job and still look cool or a UAG if they release one. For aesthetics I'd say the sandstone would look good.

Here's some info:
(Q) is there a way to make photos think your phones a pixel whilst remaining on OOS?
Title says it all really. Some AOSP ROMs make photos think that the phones actually a pixel and so back up is unlimited. I think that should be standard anyway. Google makes a tonne of money as it is. I do have a pixel but wondered what's...

Oh wow you didn't get one??
Here's mine.
Bit crap you didn't get one mate..I hear the charger over there is slower too. Is that to do with that voltage output of your grid? Think yours is 110v and ours is 240v or vice versa, no idea...just trying to put reason to it.
Or is this a Chinese company being mean to the yanks?
Either way. So long as the phone is the same you're golden.
Did you at least claim your free buds??
They are superb mate and for free.

No i had no idea that was a thing either! However, I dont think I would have qualified anyway. I purchased on the 12th and took delivery on the release date (14 apr).
That case actually looks better than the one I had to buy. All other oneplus's I've bought had cases, I think they're just mad at us Americans LOL The slower charging is whatever. It would be cool to have it but the tests I've seen only show a couple minute difference for both phones to be fully charged.
