[Q]Solved Regaining cwm/root/unlocked BL after soft brick

Hey guys,
I can't seem to get back root after a softbrick, also i had my bootloader unlocked but the unlock seems to be gone?
Okay how it all started was when I tried to flash the 4.2.2 leak in CWM. I flashed it and everything seemed normal then when I left CWM for a reboot, nothing happened. the screen was black and the phone would vibrate when pressing the power button.
Being the newbie that I am I panicked and found a stock .253 ftf file which i flashed. the phone is now working again.
Now seeing as I don't give up that easily I figured i'd try to install 4.2.2 again but something has changed now seeing as I seem to have:
No recovery A proper recovery has been installed.
No root Root has been reclaimed
No unlocked BL? Bootloader is unlocked again
I can't root using flashtool as it wont get past - Waiting for uevent_helper rw
I've looked at alot of places on the forum but I don't know where to start really and I'm scared of a hardbrick now.
Can anyone help me out?
So it has been solved turns out it was indeed pretty simple.
the way I did it was:
Bootloader:
open flashtool, unlock bootloader again. (the code will appear)
Root
(as I was on .253 I had to flash .307 kernel & system via fastboot first)
I then followed the "easy rooting toolkit by doomlord" mentioned in this topic
CWM
I then flashed doomkernel v8 to regain CWM. (fastboot the boot.img)
Thanks for the help michealtbh :victory:

Bootloader is unlocked again, still no root via the service menu display option though.
Use fastboot to flash doomkernel, then boot into recovery and flash a superuser.zip
Or try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327472
HELP!

Flash a custom kernel which suits to your firmware and see. Or have a reflash.

Yep your bootloader is unlocked if it says "yes" and if you had unlocked it. And if you want to install twrp in your xperia c6603 you can do this its simple.
1. download the app "recovery manager for xperia" its paid but you can search and download setup from google
2. Now install it give permission for root access.
3. Now select twrp and download it and flash it as fotakernel.
4. Now you have twrp as fotakernel.

thx for reply ess arr btw im using stock firnware
Recovery Manager for Xperia™
Replace the boring CWM with TWRP or PhilzTouch Recovery on your Xperia.
Almost all custom kernels and ROMs have the "extract_elf_ramdisk" method embedded in them which allows flashing a recovery.img to the FOTAKernel partition and using this recovery instead of the recovery that comes inside the kernel.
Since most CM/AOKP/PA ROMs come with CWM in the default kernel, it is really helpful in having TWRP or Philz-Touch Recovery on the FOTAKernel.
Another big advantage is, even if the recovery inside the kernel is broken, The FOTAKernel recovery will continue to work.
***NOTE***
***Only for Xperia users using custom ROMs/kernels.*** <---- this one still confusing if it still will work in my stock finware ?
***Works only on rooted and bootloader unlocked phones***
***SUPPORTED DEVICES***
Xperia Z2
Xperia Z1 compact
Xperia Z Ultra
Xperia Z1
Xperia ZR
Xperia Z
Xperia ZL
Xperia Tablet Z (both LTE & WiFi models)
Xperia T
Xperia V
Xperia SP

[Q] How to go back to stock? - black rear camera problem and bootloop

Hi,
I experienced black rear camera bug on Official LOS16 (I have to admit that i had made backup and tested carbon and LOS17) Now i installed 17 to test if is it ROM problem but i think it is unfortunatelly hardware problem. I saw other threads and searched internet and decided to install stock branded marshmallow, lock bootloader (Yes, I had backup TA before UB) and send it to official Sony service because I should still have warranty.
But...
I don't know how to install stock ROM. I downloaded branded software from XperiFirm and stopped there. How to flash it and not brick device? Newflasher is for newer models. Flashtool needs .ftf file. I searched how to convert XperiFirm package to .ftf on other model but there is step where you have to decrypt some files (I couldn't find them in downloaded software package).
I thought about second option - format and wipe in twrp all internal partitions and use Xperia Companion Software Repair. Actually I don't know does it work properly with UB devices...
I decided to go to the unofficial Sony devices service if it'd be problem with sending it to official Sony service.
What do you suggest? Is it easy and cheap enough repair for unofficial service not to damage device? I have no tools in home neither any preferences or experiences to do that by myself. Should I skip installing stock and go straight to the unofficial service?
If you suggest relocking device please help me and write step by step, noob friendly instruction how to flash XperiFirm package by flashtool or post made that way tutorial.
If you can help me, thank you!
If you use Xperifirm within Flashtools, it should download and automatically repackage it to an FTF file.

Thank you so much! I think it'll help me solve the problem :good:
After long brake I decided to flash stock, after I got problems with lineage.
Flashtool downloaded and prepared necessary files and flashed successfully firmware. (as you said it should :good: )
Next when I reboot, got bootloop.
Tried Xperia companion, it said that my phone is unlocked and it won't proceed
So tired flash twrp from NeoArians lineageos17 thread using fastboot flash recovery
Nothing and reboot to stock with bootloop
Tried to boot in twrp using command fastboot boot
Black screen and force shutdown
Tried to flash another firmware branded for my country
Again bootloop
Maybe there is another ftf which I should flash, not that one from xperifirm?
Hmh I'm run out of ideas, please help me.
Summary What I have:
-Xperia Z3 Compact with not working camera and flashed stock firmware.
-Bootloop
-ta partition backup
-working flashtool, xperifirm and Xperia companion
-Adb and fastboot
If you know what I did wrong, please tell me. I'd be very grateful if someone help me

For every bootloop of sony device use Emma (flashtool from sony). It's cure for everything.
EDIT: it will of course delete everything from a device.
Yes! It helped for bootloop! Tank you, checked camera and now I know 100% it is hardware problem!
Thank you :highfive:
