AOSP Extended is an AOSP based rom which provides stock UI/UX with various customisations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. This Rom runs very smooth, everything seems to work except the notification led, that lights up only with red color...I have no other issues for now

I have used this rom for a couple of hours now. Seems to work fine besides two bugs:
the included google camera crashes (even got a reboot when I tried to use it). Snapcamera thats also included seem to work fine! (simple solution; dont include google camera).
Also, I cant access "about phone". Settings close when I click it.
Otherwise:
Gonna stick with this rom for a while!

About phone bug is fixed in latest build. Uninstalled google camera and use snap camera instead!

Ambient may not work in future builds too as i removed doze and it increases battery life

At the moment it seems that nobody has written a RIL manager for your device. So I could try to use one from a similar device, but it won't be in the near future

The sensor is working and lets you register the fingerprint, but then doesn't unlock the device
Great ROM. My fingerprint works fine. The only issue I have is that the home button won't wake the screen. Can't find a setting under buttons and have cleared cache etc but still no luck

Magisk is to be flashed manually.
MicroG is not supported by AEX

Wowwww, such an awesome ROM. It's really very smooth and substratum works flawlessly I have tried roms but it always slowed the device down while using themes but AEX is just perfect for handling substratum themes also battery backup is also very decent. All in all I can say it's one of the best custom roms for Mi Max 2 and thank you very much Dev for compiling this awesome ROM for us.
Clean flashed this ROM, Pics Gapps and Magisk 16.3 and started getting com.android.phone fc constantly and my SIMs were not recognized (got SIMs in both slots). The moment I removed the one SIM that was in roaming in slot 2 the fc stopped.
Anyone else got this issue?
Besides this, the ROM really is smooth, all else is working!
