Xda app issue

Whenever I start a new topic it doesn't show on the place where it says
View XXXZ's Topics
It just suddenly started doing that. This post I'm posting right now is not shown.. I tried redownloading the app but still the same problem..
Btw I'm running darky port 8.0

I think its a feature to reduce the number of new threads opened....apparently not working.

Don't really know as I haven't used that function with the app. Someone will likely come through with an answer.

The app is getting more problems.... I now have to login everytime I open this app.... what's happening!?!?!?!

It also Force Closes if you try to search.
For the freaking XDA app, you'd think they could round up a couple people who knew what they were doing...

I downloaded this app the day before yesterday and it worked flawlessly for the first day.
Yesterday, nothing would play. I tried to uninstall and re-install, thinking the program may have just bugged out. To my extreme dismay, it wasn't up in the market anymore.
Found out the problem was with my flash player and not the program and I was pissed that I had this amazing APP, uninstalled it for basically no reason, then was unable to find it on the market anymore.

Ok guys if it is not legal then it is not posted in the thread,

XDA app works......but FC's when I sign in

maybe someone can help. I have XDA app ( free and premium applies to this) and I am able to read posts as long as I am a guest. when I sign in it seems OK as I can browse the threads. but when I try open a post the app force closes on me.
I have read some people have no issues with this app and some do. I have a wifi only xoom. I'm wondering if the issue is limited to this model and works fine on 3g model?
if anyone has any input please let me know here. thanks

I never had a problem with it on my 3g version but once I switched to wifi I got the same issues as you. Xda, slacker, pandora and many other apps just won't work on my wifi xoom....very frustrating as I use all'of those apps often....in the end its not just you

Same with me. It also does not remember my sign in and I have to sign in every time. wifi xoom

The more people that contact them, the better chance it will get fixed.

This problem does not occur on tapatalk, only when using xda app (for me and a lot of others). Tapatalk works fine excet for this weird blur on long OPs.

Yes. Once you get into the xda forum from tapatalk app its almost identical.
I don't do software, my brain isn't wired that way, but I will look at the two and see what I can find. Sometimes I get lucky. Will update OP if I find anything.

[Q] XDA notifications Q&A

Hi all. As you all can tell i'm a newbie.
How will you know when someone quotes/replies you in a post/thread?
Is there notification button like facebook or something?
Cause everytime I wanna check if anyone replied to my threads i have to manually go to the thread.
Is this not available in xda forums or am i just that blind not to see?

You can set an email notification but no push notification as far as I know

Same here...:sly: Even XDA app doesn't give any notifications when enabled from settings...

A email options will pop up,select dont notify
You will be suscribed to the theme and this notification will show when there is unread threads/new post

Hi,
I just installed this Rom and i am having isseus with the font. There are ocassion where the font its way to dark. Did any one found a solution to this rpoblem? Here is a link to an other member that had the same problem but was never answered. Please let me know. Thanks

I'll reply.
Cus it's over a year old and no longer supported.
It's themed... That's probably what's wrong with the font.
But you can edit some xmls and change the colors.

Hey thanks for replying. I lost my phone and because of the holidays i have to hold on to get another one so had to turn on my back up...anyways, that's a shame they stop support for this rom cause it is a nice Rom...again, thanks for the info
